Good Quality BENGOO Gaming Headset, does what it says
Sound is incredible, crystal clear and deep, headphones are comfortable, very sturdy feeling. The lights are pretty and interesting; now I can find my boy in the dark, lol.I bought the BENGOO Gaming Headset for my 9 yr old grandson but the headset is a little large, so I ended up giving to my 12 yr old grandson. Cable is nice and long, plenty of length for his PS4 gaming, again seems very sturdy. This headset looks like it will be able to withstand his roughness, especially when he gets all worked up in the match. I like the audio controls on the cable, very convenient and easy to use.I personally tested everything but the microphone. My grandson says its great and the people he was playing with said it was good with no echo or anything. Overall these headphones seem perfect, I’m very happy with them.

Two reviews Part 1: Mine – Headset Great but for 1 Issue, Part 2: Grandson – Great Headset
Part 1: Mine Review – This Headset covers every category but one…I purchased two of these, one for Grandson and one for myself. This is my review, his review follows. We both really enjoy these headsets. Very comfortable and cord length to wireless controller is great. One issue; length of cord splitting to USB and controller connectors. It’s 8.5 inches long. Gamer plugging the USB portion into a gaming console or PC to utilize the LED function of headset has to stand/sit 8.5 inches from game console/PC. Since I’m using a wireless controller I only have four options to use the LED function; sit within 8.5 inches of console and monitor/TV, or purchase a USB extension cable, or purchase an HDMI extension cable. Since I’m trying to keep costs down, I’ll use option four, don’t use LED function. These are still great headsets, very comfortable, lightweight, great sound quality. Mine have work flawlessly since taking out of the box. Delivery was also very fast.Review 2: Grandson – I really like this headsetI purchased two of these, one for my Grandson and one for myself. This is my Grandson’s review. I really enjoy this headset. I was using the Turtle Beach X12 for my Xbox 360 and I got a new Xbox One as a gift. My Grandpa decided we needed new headsets. After looking at reviews he picked the BENGOO Gaming Headset. It is very comfortable and I can wear them for a long time. The cord length to my wireless controller is awesome. There is only one problem with the headset. How long the USB cable for LED lights is. It is only 8.5 inches long. To plug in the USB cable into my Xbox One I have to sit very close to it. I still think it is a great headset. Very comfortable, not too heavy, and great sound. The headset works great.

Pro Headset for Entry Level Price !!!
Honestly I’m blown away by how awesome this headset is. Granted it is “Virtual” Surround Sound but it legitimately is fully submersive sound. Highs, mids, and lows are excellent quality. I tried several differnt genres of games, shooters, driving, action adventures, horror, and sports. All of them sound like your in the game or have it running through a highend 7.1 surround sound system. As for wear ability very comfortable and lightweight, wore them for a straight 8 to 10 hours with no issues with weight or discomfort. Cord is durable and flexible and the adapter for the PC is very helpful. The switchover from gaming to music / video chat is flawless there is no noticable difference like some headsets. Music sounds the same as games with miss, highs, and lows. It’s like wearing a pair of 4-way speakers. There is only 2 things that I can think of for cons and it’s not even a con. 1 I wish the mic was detachable or on a swivel. 2. The USB should add some kind of audio booster or a downloadable EQ / Audio Enhancements for gaming systems. All in all this is an amazing Headset that any gamer would fully enjoy, this headset is worth every penny. I’ve listened to some $200 to $300 headsets and this is right up there with them

Excellent headset, especially for this low price.
This product was significantly more substantial than I had expected. Given the price tag of ~$35, I expected something that felt light and hollow. While these are by no means heavy, there is just enough weight to give them a sense of quality and durability. The cushioning around the ear, and atop the head, are thick enough to allow long hours of comfortable enjoyment. The noise cancelling is marvelous, and I can’t even hear my own breathing or sounds near to the mic, yet those in my chat party reported hearing me loud and clear. I think I might have liked them to go slightly louder than they go, for music purposes – but I’m entirely happy with these the way they are. At any rate, they do have a volume dial, and a mute switch, both of which do what they are supposed to do. And, finally, I like the resistance on the adjustment bars. I sized these perfectly for my head, and did not have to readjust them at all. Definitely recommend these headphones. (FYI: I’m using them primarily for GTA V so far, and they also do a very good job of separating the game’s ambient sounds as well, granting volume where necessary, and keeping intended background noises just there – in the background.)

OK Headphones. NOT USB Audio
These headphones sound OK. There is no active noise cancelling, but the closed-back gives some attenuation, probably about 20 dB. The leather-like over-the-ear cups are soft and comfortable. The microphone does not seem to be noise cancelling. It’s OK for a quiet office.Note that the USB plug is ONLY to power the somewhat silly lighting system. Both earcups and the microphone light up when the USB is plugged in. The microphone light does NOT indicate whether microphone is active, like on some communication headsets.The ear cups do not rotate about the axis of the direction in which you are facing. Most quality headphones that I know of do have some motion in that axis. In these the mounting is a little springy, but not much. Those people whose heads are not average width might find the earcups sitting oddly.The cord is covered by a coarse woven mesh. This seems like a “heavy duty” Good Thing until you turn your head and the rough covering scrapes on your shoulder or chair, transmitting noise into the earcups and the microphone. This covering also makes the cord less floppy than you would see on some other units.Overall: These are not BAD headphones. They work, and are comfortable for me to wear for a while. There are just some sillinesses and design mistakes that make me think that some other headphone might be a better deal.

Not just for gaming
I’m not a gamer, just a guy who is hearing impaired, wears hearing aids, and has a lot of trouble hearing on a phone call. My job requires frequent online meetings and I have struggled for years trying to understand what others are saying during these calls. I’ve tried various headsets, but never had any that really worked well for me until now. With my new Bengoo Gaming Headset I can finally understand what others are saying and therefore contribute to the conversations! I particularly like the large cupped earmuffs that cover the whole ear including my behind-the-ear hearing aids. Very comfortable and shut out background noise extremely well. Excellent sound quality, and others tell me they can hear me very well, so the microphone seems to be high quality as well. This is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time!

Great sound, good purchase, but a few tiny things to note
I love the headset!Pros:-It is mostly comfortable to wear (tad heavy, but no issues with my glasses).-The sound is great. Way clearer than my laptop speakers/mic. Worlds of difference.-Definitely worth the price. Like the versatility I have had no issues plugging it into my phone or for use with my laptop. Haven’t tried it on the PS4 or PS3 yet. Has made a definite improvement on my games, work meetings, and Discord voice channel.Downsides (all minor):-The mouth piece is plenty flexible, but it doesn’t rotate out of the way which is slightly irritating.-I am right handed and the cord hangs from the left side. It is constantly getting in my way, there is no real way to change it because you cannot swap the mic or the cord to the opposite side.-The volume function is nice, but there is no way to lock it. Because the cord hangs so funny across my body I accidentally turn it up or down by mistake.Overall, I would buy again. I don’t really use the USB lights, but they work and had no problems. I have limited USB capability so it’s not worth it to use the ports for that. I just use the aux cable and it’s just fine. If you’re on the fence, just do it. These are worth it.

Great headset – Love it!
This is one sturdy headset. The pads are very comfortable. I wanted a headset I could use for both conference calls and playing my PS4. The sound is great for gaming and calls.On the smallest setting, the headset feels too just slightly too big. But, it’s comfortable to wear. The sound is great and when I used it in a conference call, the guys could hear me very clearly. The next test will be when I do a voiceover for work since we’re working from home.I would definitely purchase this again.UPDATE: I DID purchase this again. A newer version. Amazon isn’t letting me review the new version. I don’t know why. This one is even better. It is a little smaller, so it fits my head better than the one before. It’s more lightweight, without sacrificing strength. It came with an extension cord for the USB, so now when I use my PS4 with the headset, I have enough cable to plug in the USB and see the cool lights. The sound quality is amazing! It works with my phone (without the case) and my laptop. I did have some issues in a work meeting, but I think that is more Citrix than the headset. I’ll update this again once I bring my work laptop home. That will be a while.I highly recommend this brand of headset. It’s slick, lightweight, easy to use, and when I send Customer Service a question, I get a fast response. Plus, it is easy on the wallet.

I just recently got a gaming system that im able to play online with. I’ve never had a headset nor did I know what to look for. My buddy who is a big gamer told me to find something I liked in my price range and he would let me know. At first he was skeptical but after reading specs he said they would be okay for what I wanted. I received the box a few days later and he came over with his turtle Beach to compare. I was blown away by how well it sounded compared to a higher dollar headset. It’s not nearly as loud as the turtle Beach but you can tweak your in-game settings to match it. It is well worth the money. If you dont mind having to deal with a cord than this is perfect for you. Only complaint is that my head is small and it fits kind of loose, but that’s not really their fault. The LED lights would be amazing if you could figure out some way were you could stuff a small battery in it and use the USB part of the cable to charge and be able to use the lights without the cord. But then again, if you’re not streaming and just playing at home on your couch, who really cares anyway? Lol

Overall great quality headphones!
We originally purchased the headphones for our XBOX One / PS4 but upon arrival we discovered it needed an adapter and our gaming systems are bit out of reach. We still wanted to give them a go because we also game on our PC. They worked great with our PC. They are comfortable and the noise cancellation works perfect. My kids loved that the headphone lights up. The cords are all very sturdy and seem like they will last a long long time. Very satisfied and you can’t beat the price. The best thing so far is how comfortable they are. I would recommend these to any PC Gamers.
