Maku Shenoda –
A delicate dance of chaos.
The game is a great update to the 2016 reboot. The idea of refilling health with glory kills, armour with flame thrower and ammo via chainsaw then the sword and bfg makes you always thinking what bar to tend to plus which weapon to use as different enemies are easier to kill with different weapon. The last couple of boss fights are so basic though same old big bad that we saw before a million times but the over all game is so worth it.

Fast Paced, Engaging FPS.
This game had rewarding challenges. Fast paced exciting gameplay. Thoroughly have been enjoying.
SW –
Dangerously addictive gameplay.
Oh my goodness. Someone has spent a lot of time getting the challenge level of this game just right. Addictively good. Flakey story, limited flavours of challenge (smash and leap), but so expertly crafted none of this matters. Blink and you’ve been playing for days, your wife has left you and your child has completed school, married and had kids of their own. …..just….one….more…..go….before….bed.

Region 2?
I received the region 2 version that’s Pegi 18 rated. Is this supposed to work in my US based system?

Fast-paced adrenaline pumping action
This game is fantastic. The difficulty can vary widely, forcing you to learn how to become a better player. Weapon modifications, glory kills, secrets, and vastly changing difficulty levels keep you coming back.I nearly got disheartened when I came to a couple points I just couldn’t beat, even on only the 2nd difficulty setting. Ive been playing fps games since Duke Nukem 3D, and I’m accustomed to using a mouse and keyboard, so this is definitely challenging; however, it does make you a much better gamepad FPS player.Pro tip: keep moving. When you’re having a hard time, try running a path and just destroying whatever appears in front of you. If you stop for too long, you’re dead. Use the dash manuever to escape if you get mobbed. It reminded me of the COD Zombies game strategy – get them to chase you, destroy the ones in your path, periodically turn around to launch a few grenades at your entourage, and you’ll find you do a lot better than trying to find safety. There are no safe spaces in Doom Eternal! :DDemons take actual damage as you go through battle. If you’re facing overwhelming odds, don’t try to kill them all at once. Do some damage then run! Chainsaw a few easy demons to restock your ammo, then get back into the fight. There are definitely fights too big to handle all at once. Do some damage, run, do more damage… rip and tear until it is done! This game is awesome.

Mandatory account for single player?
Why do I have to create an account for an online aspect I do not want and will never use before I can play my single player experience? I refuse. So I wasted my money on this. I will not make an account for a ps4 game so Bethesda can track me.

Too difficult
Even on the easiest setting it is a really difficult game and after being killed for the umpteenth time I have decided to give up on it at least the last Doom game have you a reasonable chance to advance through the levels.

DOOM ETERNAL ??
I preordered this last year on Amazon. I have been a fan of the series since the original release in ‘93. It has not disappointed one bit. And may I take a moment to add that the soundtrack is top notch, heavy riff age to the max.

Nunca llegó
Nunca me llegó. Me robaron la plata. Y no pude reclamar nada. ?

Great game but there’s a catch.
Great game but unfortunately Bethesda makes you create a account in order to play the game. That being said, on another topic. My game arrived with a broken seal at the bottom and the disc loosed inside. And the bottom of the game case broken. As if somebody maybe from a job site was tryna steal it?….. hmm either way . Thank goodness the game was not damaged and was there.

Must play!
Fast and fun gameplay! Great enemy variation and boss battles. Weapon and suit upgrading is strong. Excellent replay value, especially for the hidden collectibles.

It’s ok you will love it, then hate the jumping
Great game loved to action and the game play but it’s no doom 2016 probably last place among all the other doom titles. They had a great idea then light it on fire with all the jumping and wall hanging puzzles.

Not the rite one
I did not get the game that is pictured. They sent me one that says “mature 17” not the “18” one that is pictured

More demon slaying, less Mario Bros jump puzzles, please.
Don’t let the stars fool you; Doom Eternal is a very high quality game that expands previous entries in multiple ways that make for a great experience. That is, until you’re facing your 30th jump puzzle by the 4th level and you are absolutely burnt out of the slow downs in pace. The biggest gripe you may see here rests on the shoulders of level design that while imaginative, relies much more on timing double jumps with dashes/etc. which does distract from the classic core of the game play we have loved since installing the first Doom from 3&1/4 floppies – burning down demons in relentless onslaught. Yes, there are many more new foes and they did ramp the difficulty up enough to make it a satisfying experience. But again, you wind up playing Mario while bounding off walls, and gliding through the air over chasms that eat away at your sanity more so than the demons could ever dream. If that was the goal of the designers, well done. You made it frustrating to the point you have to walk away for a few days and find something to enjoy rather than keep playingIn my 34+ years of gaming, I rarely find games that are just too frustrating to play. And I’ve completed Ghostbusters 2 on the NES. This one sadly creeps up into that realm based off the overdone concept of platform jump puzzles. Hopefully the DLC will be more “down to Earth”. That is if I havent forgotten about DE by the time Ghost of Tsushima of Cyberpunk 2077 come out.So if you love Doom and would not mind back to back jumping puzzles, you will likely enjoy this. The graphics and animation are superb.Music is brutal industrial at it’s finest. The controls are smooth and precise.Storyline is a little confusing at first but your goals remain the same. You kill the denizens of hell. The additional pickups of codex entries helps to flesh out the stories and characters in a great way.The power up and upgrade systems are rewarding and having your own “castle” makes for more return value.

Great game
One of the best FPS of the past decade. Feels fluid in movement and the guns feel strong.
