very good build, switches are ok

the build is very good, included accessories are a plus, the switches are ok but they are hot swappable and i can easily replace them.

    Excellent Keyboard

As a long time mechanical keyboard user, Ducky Shine 5, year of the monkey, year of the rooster, IKBC mf 108 v2, after few hours of usage, this is a very good keyboard. No issues at this point. The Cherry MX blues as usual, no need to comment. The already provided lighting profiles are good and for me sufficient. For now everything is working great no issues. I may update my comment if something comes up.

    Solid construction and highly programmable

This is a high-end keyboard that is well constructed. It’s very customizable via QMK or the online configuration. Note that both methods are somewhat advanced as the customization comes from reprogramming the microcontroller on the keyboard…not hard, but it helps if you are a bit of a geek. The keys are doubleshot allowing a bit of the RGB to come through. Out of the box there are several RGB patterns along with brightness levels to allow you to set it from sedate to crazy. There is a bit of a texture to the keys, but I got to liking this fairly quickly (after a couple hours of use my other keyboard felt too slick like my fingers wanted to slide off the keys).I’m a fan of Cherry Browns and Blues, so the switches feel great to me.The magnetic feet are a good touch and build on the solid construction. You can change the angle a bit and the keyboard will stay put.

    Nice keyboard.

Not worth the money. It’s good, but no keyboard is that good.

I’m an addict and this is my drug.

Seriously good keyboard. I’ve already swapped out the speed silver switches for some NovelKeys Sherbet switches and will replace those with either Kailh box navy or box jade switches.Keycaps are doubleshot PBT and feel ok. RGB is bright (not a primary concern for me) and the keyboard works well on my MacBook Pro.

    Great Office keyboard

Been only using this for about two days now but I have to say that it’s great in an open office environment. The key actuation is quiet enough to not annoy my co-workers but tactile enough for each keystroke to be satisfying. Works well with a macbook just have to get used to not having Apple labeled keys but I’m sure I could swap out the key caps if it really is an issue for me. The LEDs are bright and pretty stylish if I do say so myself few of the other developers have commented on how cool it looks and asked where could they get their own. Construction is solid as all hell, if you saw the movie Wanted and where Wesley smashed his keyboard against his friends face, this would do far more damage than that scene (it’s a whole lotta metal!)Anyways it’s a really good keyboard really pleased with this purchase.

    Endgame?

It looks great. It feels great. It IS great. I originally bought it with the Halo clears thinking they would be good quiet tactile switches, but really didn’t like them and swapped them with gateron blue switches. Obviously not quiet but they feel fantastic. When picking which one you want in this keyboard I highly recommend that you feel that switch in person whether it be on a friend’s keyboard or a small sampler. The software for this keyboard could be more user friendly especially for how expensive it is. If it’s important to you you should watch a video on how to configure it before buying it, but if you even know what QMK is you’re more than likely qualified to configure it pretty easily. There are cheaper alternatives for hotswappable mechanical keyboards that are still very nice like the Tecware Phantom, but nothing that is this good. This keyboard sits at the top of if not out of the price range for most gamers but is more than reasonable for keyboard enthusiasts. This keyboard is not for everyone. You are buying a whole experience not just a hotswappable keyboard. You’re paying for the sleek aluminum base, the keycaps, the hotswappability, the RGB, and the reliability since this thing is YouTubes golden child. My favorite part about this design is you can put it in just about any setup. It looks clean and professional but also can match an aggressive gamer setup just by adjusting the lights. A potential downside that I noticed is the keycaps are unreadable without some light under them. I actually like it because it makes any RGB effects where the lights go out more fun but see how it could get annoying.A tip if you’ve already bought it and are trying to change out the switches with the given tool, wedge in the tool under one of the grabbable sides of it and turn it to loosen the switch before trying to pull it out. Those contact points squeeze on the pins surprisingly hard.

    Incredible

This keyboard is absolutely gorgeous. Thought it looked pretty good online but never realized it was this good in person. The feel of the keycaps under my fingers makes me want to type more. I chose the cherry mx blue switches which for some people are a bit loud but for me, the sound of them actually calms me. You know that a keyboard is good when it makes you want to go online and write a review just so that you can type with it more. 10/10 would recommend.

Best premium keyboard on the market

This was a great keyboard. I loved everything about it from the way it looks and the level of customization you can do with it. This being howswapable was the cherry on top. Unfortunately I had to return it since mine came with a dent and this was out of stock when I tried to get a new one. So I had to go with another keyboard that was cheaper but but as of good quality. So if you’re okay with spending a good about of money on a keyboard I don’t think you will regret this getting this one.

    Don’t buy, it hurts!!

I generally love Drop products, I got really excited about this keyboard and swapped my old Razer keyboard for this. I bought this keyboard to be my main work keyboard, as a software engineer, I type on this all day.The keyboard is beautiful, and it feels nice… at first. The problem is that this keyboard doesn’t have a good raised angle, or a good wrist rest. After a month of using it, I started noticing pain in my arms, hands and fingers while moving them.I’ll stay far far away from this keyboard now.Worst part is, the return window on Amazon expired before I could notice the damage it was doing to my hands.
