This is a cutdown tournament-style keyboard, so no numberpad or system panel for a 81 key keyboard. The system function panel buttons are integrated into the righthand keys, which might throw off someone used to having the Enter key having more space. The other change is that there is no Right Ctrl and a cutdown Right Shift key which can also throw off some key hits compared with a full 120 key keyboard. I do recommend you look at the pictures of the keyboard itself before you consider buying.The lighting functions are really nice and do not need specialist software. However, the manual does not document all the functions. The hidden function for changing certain features is FN and the + or – sign on the upper right next to Backspace. You can also set a solid color background using the hidden function and with Fn + PageDn customize the colors in the different patterns to what you wish. The programming actually sticks when power is detached, so there must be some memory chip in this.The switch technology is OUTEMU, which is similar in feel but distinctly different than the classical Cherry switch. I personally care for OUTEMU’s myself, so this is a feature and not a bug, though for the price, this is a good starter to work with if you want to experience OUTEMU switches. YMMV if you enjoy using them, but they are good quality unlike the cheaper Kailh’s out there.This keyboard is made to be tournament-style, and what is meant by that is that the keyboard is specifically more portable than the standard. Alongside the smaller area, the power and connection is a standard microUSB which is DETACHABLE (see picture). This allows you to carry the keyboard and cord separately without bending, and replace the cord in a pinch if it happens to break. This keyboard will travel well for LAN parties or situations where you want to bring a mechanical keyboard without the hassle or potential breakage issues from other keyboards.

I really liked the layout of the board which is the main reason i got it, before this i had a red dragon board with the num pad and it was just to big for my desk and for around the same price this is of way less quality. My main complaint is on the keys the have stabilizers ( backspace, shift, enter) the stabilizers restrict the key from bottoming out. I removed all the stabilizers and the keys feel way better but now i dont have stabilizers in the larger keys. Overall love the layout and the switches but the build quality is 6/10.UPDATE: i modded the stabilizers by snipping off part of the bottom and now those keys bottom out and feel fine, still not the greatest keyboard but i paided for the form factor.

Great compact gaming keyboard with very reminiscent CHERRY MX RED switches. The switches are linear and produces a very clicky/tactile feel when typing/gaming. MX REDs are known for their performance in gaming with a low required actuation point and low operating force. If you haven’t tested or don’t know what switches you prefer I suggest you might wanna go to an electronics stores such as best buy and test out the keys there yourself. Alternatively, you could purchase a WASD mechanical keyboard switch tester. Overall, great keyboard with a few shifts in keys which may not present itself as a traditional keyboard. The arrow keys are shifted into the ‘shift key’ which makes the right shift key a bit smaller than your traditional keyboard. Also, this is a compact 81-keys which means no number pad key.PROS+ Linear mechanical keys reminiscence of Cherry MX REDs.+ Awesome for gaming+ Very versatile and portable. I will preface this review by saying this is my first mechancial keybaord.The build quality is very good. Very solid.USB cable is removableI like the RGB lights, my only minor complaint is that there is no option that I could find to keep it solidly lit at one colorThis is my fist keyboard without a number pad; so far so good.Included in the package are 5 extra switches and key / switch pullers.Overall I would highly recommend this keyboard.

A long time ago! lol! , I watched a documentary of how we were going to stop having keys in our computer and only and LED light was going to be “reflected” on our desk and we would write by using this “key led images”, I was like: – cool! that is exciting!Fast forward many years later I discover these mechanical keyboards, what a huge game changer for me, now it becomes harder to make grammatical mistakes, I really feel more in power of what I type ?This is more noisy, however!!! it add more excitement to my school paper writings, and for even more excitement the LED! oh my!!! This keyboard is super beautiful!I matched mine up with a great LED mouse pad too! some people have their “battle station”, I have my “school work/ work place station” ??Cheers to super awesome design and to old things that are better than the new ones!
