    Good product

Works with Xbox it’s amazing quality, durable, I like that the mouse is a little heavy makes use a lot better because it’s not flopping around everywhere when you take your hand off of it, the best part is the ability to completely customize it through the app you can assign different things to each key or button, online games are a little tricky at first but if you program it right to your preferences it’s super laid back for instance I have used this on my Xbox to play apex with it honestly that didn’t work out to well for me but that’s because I prefer using a controller however it is still a really nice thing to have like I use the mouse on my computer the one handed keyboard is cool too. Basically it works as intended and it’s worth the asking price

Quality product and great for gaming!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

I have found the VX very responsive and built with quality material. I tested it on Fortnite and did not experience any lag with the inputs.Pros:1) Easy to set up, I just followed the instructions and was connected in less than 5 minutes from unboxing2) This is my third Gamesir product and they have been very good to me communicates quickly with their customers.3) Packaged very well and easy to identify all the parts4) The instruction manual was very easy to read and understandCons:I performed the connecting instructions in the wrong order by connecting to the PS4 controller too early and was not able to connect. I reconnected in the right order and fixed it in seconds.I recommend adding a note somewhere that the wrong setup sequence can cause problems. Just my feedback.Overall, its a great setup for gaming and recommend this to potential buyers!

GameSir Aimswitch VX: A Cross-Platform Wireless Keyboard for Gamers

NOTE: In this review I only tested the VX on my Windows machines, as I don’t have a console.— Pros —Wireless connection through Bluetooth or included 2.4 Ghz dongle.Solid build.Removable wrist pad.Programmable function keys.Plug and Play functionality.— Cons —No software to remap keys on PC.Can’t configure RGB lights on mouse. Some input lag and random clicks when mouse is connected to keyboard’s USB port.— Devices Tested & Working —MSI GE62VR Apache Pro-001 (Windows 10 Pro 1803)Asus Custom Desktop (Windows 10 Pro 1809)Lenovo FLEX 5 (Windows 10 Pro 1809)iPhone 6 (iOS 12.1)— Games Tested & Working —OSU! (Windows 10) [Website] – No change to keyboard, play as normal.League of Legends (Windows 10) [Website] – Remap using game’s configuration.Minecraft (Windows 10) [Microsoft Store] – Remap using game’s configuration.World of Warcraft (Windows 10) [Website] – Remap using game’s configuration.Overwatch (Windows 10) [Website] – Remap using game’s configuration.Maplestory/Maplestory2 (Windows 10) [Website] – Unable to play due to not enough keys.Hearthstone (Windows 10) [Website] – No change to keyboard, play as normal.Binding of Isaac Afterbirth (Windows 10) [Steam] – Unable to play due to not enough keys.Super Smash Flash 2 (Online) [Website] – No change to keyboard, play as normal.NieR:Automata (Windows 10) [Steam] – Remap using game’s configuration.— Thoughts —GameSir takes a step forward from the GK100 to the VX. Wireless features. Mouse. Dongle. Cross platform support. The good stuff. The VX is great for those who wanted a semi-wireless one-handed keyboard for gaming. The removable wristpad is a added bonus for those long gaming sessions. The mouse is light yet has weight, it’s comfortable to move and click.Like what others had said, there’s some input lag and random clicks if the mouse is connected to the keyboard, perhaps a future firmware update will fix that?Overall this is a new idea from GameSir that would satisfy some gamers, but for normal and casual gamers, this may be a pricey purchase.

Easy to use on any device

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

If you are used to gaming on a keyboard and mouse it is a very easy and familiar transition. I have a lot more experience using a PS4 controller, so it took some getting used to and figuring out the order of the circle square triangle ex buttons. I really like the mouse being mapped for R2 and L2 making it extremely easy to aim and shoot. Some games will obviously benefit more than others (ie shooters vs racing). The on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment is nice. I have fairly large hands and it felt comfortable, not small at all. Did not have any issues connecting to PC or PS4.

Do not purchase – Couldn’t get to work consistently no technical support info to help

This items seems nice. Cool videos on YouTube. Don’t buy it. I tried to install it on my Nintendo Switch. Spent hours over 2 days trying to get it to work consistently but couldn’t do it. Looked for every piece of technical support information possible. No help. Tried emailing customer support. No acknowledgment.Begin with the fact that the installation instructions say the dongle firmware must be updated. Open G-Crux app to see tutorial. Link opens video player which starts playing videos on my laptop. Very cool. Gave up on updating firmware.Tried to establish bluetooth connection with Switch. Wouldn’t make connection. Tried changing startup order for switch, keyboard, monitor, whatever. Eventually got a connection. Not sure why, but spent 2-3 hours to get it.After connection was established, the unit actually worked reasonably well. Decided to use G-Crux app to see what it takes to change some settings. No documentation provided on how to exit the app and reconnect with game unit is provided. Turning things off and on eventually re-establish connection.Played a little while longer, and got brave enough to try and actually change some of the default keybinds. Documentation only marginally helpful. Made one change to change the binding on two keys. Saved as how the marginally adequate documentation seemed to instruct. Shut a bunch of things off and on again, only to have unit not re-establish connection with game unit. Another search for answers, another email to support, and eventually get connection to game. More hours invested. One connected, I get to the opening screen. Keyboard working and I enter the game. Keyboard now doesn’t work within the game. Unresponsive. Can’t even close the game. Shut unit down. Restart. Use G-crux app to try and restore original settings. Appears to work in opening screen. Open game. Keyboard again non-functional.Last straw. Contact Amazon to return product. This is theoretically a good product. If you are brave enough, buy it and try to get it to work. I couldn’t. I wouldn’t recommend you try.

It Will Not Work. Just Buy a XIM

I wish I could give this less than one star. Don’t buy this item unless you plan returning to get your money back. It does not work and the instructions have zero troubleshooting help and the website is equally as bad. I emailed their customer support and never got a response. For $100 you can just buy a XIM apex that actually works.

GameSir VX AimSwitch is an affordable keyboard replacement for gamers

If you like playing games with a keyboard and a mouse, and you love the idea of having an advantage, well then this product is for you. This wireless keyboard and braided cable mouse allow you to concentrate on what you’re playing by removing countless keys you will likely never use in-game; also it is possible to replace the gaming controllers on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch with more accurate input device. The keyboard itself is mechanical, using TTC Blue switches. Its build quality is top notch and durably crafted with a sturdy and decent quality material. On top, even it is made of plastic but keyboard feels relatively sturdy, doesn’t flex, and there’s very little in terms of movement when planted on a desk. The wireless keyboard connects with using the included dongle, while the mouse is just your typical mouse. The dongle is what bridges the gap between the device and PC or consoles and makes everything just work. Please refer to my uploaded picture that when I play short period time of PS4 title God of War for testing GameSir VX AimSwitch. It works flawlessly and the response time is amazing plus it is comfortable for my hand. I didn’t experience any disconnecting issue nor lag issues in regards to movement and jumping.Perfect to pair with PS4 console for long hour of playing gamesIf you do not need a full size keyboard for gaming, then the GameSir VX AimSwitch is for you.Pros:- Great device for gaming.- Works with numerous genres.- Easy to use smartphone app.- Works great with gaming consoles.Cons:- No RGB lighting.

    Accurate and Smooth worth mastering

I was playing Call of duty some time ago and this one guy i was playing with said that he was using a mouse and keyboard to play so it sparked my interest because he was dominating. So i thought id get one too and i did thats why i bought one of these.Pros -~ What i really like about it is that it was very easy to set up. Plug and play. Quick and easy and as long as you follow what platform your setting it up on via “User Manual” its smooth sailing from there.~ Wireless – Great because you can put it anywhere in your room as long as it isn’t that far that it breaks the connection.~ the keys are really smooth and well designed for my gaming configuration. You can adjust the keys configuration on the app without any trouble. It was easy for me to Set it up the keys to my liking. It’s taking me some time to get use too but I know once I get use to it I’d dominate.~ what I really like about this is that the aim and shoot of the mouse are very accurate and fast . I now have more control using the mouse than I do with the controller.Cons -~ Using this keyboard was very uncomfortable. My forearm started to cramp after a few mins of game play

KB/M for console with a bright future.

Let me start out with this statement – I have been a XIM user since XB360. I have “too many” hours on a XIM device. But I won’t let that sway my review. This is a brutally honest review about a device with a low price tag that is trying to compete with a XIM.TLDR: It has easy updates through a phone app – has a great wireless connection – still very much an early product and is getting updated frequently – price to performance is better than a XIM if you are looking for a keyboard and mouse for console use.I give it a 3.5 Star but since you can’t I have rounded up because there already have been updates even while I was reviewing the device. Now to the meat of the review.Build qualityKeyboard – Solid but plastic all around. Definitely mechanical.Mouse – Cheap plastic – It is replaceable so you might end up throwing it awayDongle – Light and plastic – Feels good but not high quality (but doesn’t feel like it is going to fall apart)ConnectivityTo console – Easy to plug into the console and plug in the controller – solid connectionTo phone – Must pair using fn+f4 to edit profiles and update the firmware. Once setup it seems to be a solid connection.MouseSuper light if that’s your thing. Braided cable feels nice. All buttons seem to function as expected. Feels extremely cheap but solid at the same time.KeyboardNice feel to it – definitely mechanical as stated previously. Sensitivity buttons a nice touch would much rather them be profile switch buttons but more on that later. USB port for mouse accepts other mice as well – nice touch (I instantly switched mice after the first impression)SoftwareMy initial test had 2 profiles for PS4, I was disappointed and put it away. But later that night a Destiny profile appeared in the manager and I had more hopes. Easy to navigate as firmware update and profiles are sole options. The firmware update process is easy to use over Android. The ability to downgrade the firmware is a huge plus. Changing profiles is 10-15s since there isn’t any onboard profile switching. Profiles must be updated every switch (needs custom profile saving). Unfortunately, the app didn’t read mouse side button input remapping at the time of testing (does read mouse left and right click as well as mouse wheel). This can be fixed via software update/firmware update – I am hoping.First impressionIf the software gets updates to fix remapping and profiles are created in a timely fashion (even XIM takes a few days or weeks to make profiles) this would be a great alternative to a XIM. The responsiveness of the keyboard button pushes and mouse clicks were on par with the XIM Apex. The boxed-in mouse is a bit of a letdown but don’t let that sway you as you can replace it as easily as plugging in a USB device. The software needs advanced options for tweaking profile settings for people that don’t use profiles that match games. Like the XIM has a toggle to allow curve changes to deadzones and X:Y ratio. This product also needs multiple default profiles to easily switch between for console(like a sub-section under each platform). And a MUST is to add in application what profile is applied to the device. Right now there isn’t a way to tell which profile is actually applied. The build quality on the keyboard section is great – I would prefer an option with silent switches as I’m not a big fan of clicking. The mouse is fine if you are not into mouse customization. It has back and forward buttons as well as standard left and right click. Mouse wheel has “clicks” on turn and a mouse button. Also, a dpi button which changes dpi and the mouse light color (to reflect dpi). I found that this was actually pretty useful but not in a good way – see below.ProsBuild quality of keyboard and dongle are greatEasy to connect to the console and the booklet helps with step by step instructions to achieve connectionUSB port for mouse is not limited to included mouse (huge Pro – works with Logitech G700s)Responsiveness is on par (over wireless) with XIM Apex using a wireless setup (Sony Nav + Logitech G700s).ConsSoftware needs updates as mentioned (Profile Switching and Editing Options/Button Mapping for Mouse Forward/Back)The mouse is cheap and should be replaced ASAP (as an aiming device it will work but with minimal expectations)It is wireless so expect minimal input lag – if you need less then your looking for a wired option (XIM) but then you have to buy a keyboard and mouse.Mouse tracking was questionable – fast movements (macro) were easy to do with no pausing but slow movements (micro) were hard to do with the provided mouse (poor tracking on small movements) and if you jacked up the DPI on the mouse but lowered the Sensitivity it helped but it exacerbated the issue with mouse pausing… almost like it was getting stuck then it would break free. This is fixable – XIM had the same issues when it was making profiles for RB6S.OverallI think the device has a lot of things going for it. The option to use your own mouse is a nice touch. Not needing a computer to upgrade firmware is a phenomenal feature (but you need a computer if the dongle needs to be updated). Profiles were limited in testing but having more than one option is great – not all games use the same deadzones. Keyboard keys are easy to replace. The keyboard switches are definitely mechanical and seem to be quality parts (very responsive). The wireless connection never dropped while using the device. An adjustable time out for keyboard would be nice (10 min seems like a long time for an idle wireless device to stay on). For a first step into multi console support (with timely updates) it is impressive – but it has some hurdles to overcome to compete with the XIM.Just other thoughts about the device and it’s futureIt’ll need decent support going forward (profiles) if there isn’t going to be more advanced options available for editing controls. There could be a whole cloud-based profile sharing platform waiting to be made to support this product (where users can download shared profiles through the app and apply them). It’s the biggest thing the XIM is missing – it would definitely give this device an upper hand over the XIM if this was available (but this requires more profile editing options to be useful).

Finally a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Option for the XBox One

It is very seldom that I am compelled to write an online review. This purchase is totally worthy of it. This device was received 3 days ago. The first thing that I did was update the firmware for both the keyboard and the USB dongle. I used a PC for the free application and most recent *.bin file to complete the update. After that I started as directed by the videos and the instructions included/online and since then I have been nothing but pleased. I am using mine on an Xbox One S 1TB system purchased earlier this year. It is working flawlessly with minor adjustments to the keyboard layout per each game I use it with. There are some pre-made game layouts when you sync the device to your phone. The phone may also be used to update the keyboard but not the USB dongle. Keep in mind that this is not best on all games necessarily in terms of its responsiveness but I have not found a game that it will not work with yet, and I have many games. The selling point is the wireless capability. I also own a XIM4 which offers more flexibility but is not wireless like this device. Now GameSir is on my gaming radar. Razr want over $200 for their new wireless full-sized keyboard. Think twice the cost and twice the size. Lastly, you can use whatever corded gaming mouse you want on this device and the settings are simply passed through regarding DPI and such.It is ideal for first person shooters and RTS games. If you are old enough and you remember the fun of playing first person shooters in or RTS games on the PC from the 1990’s to early 2000’s, you will fall in love with the keyboard and mouse on an Xbox One with this device. It works. I am using mine primarily on Battlefield and Fortnight. I even used it with Hellblade without any problem. Just adjust the key layout to your liking using the GameSir app for iPhone in my case. Some games are simply more fun with a keyboard and mouse.
