I love this keyboard so much!I didn’t really need it for gaming (I only play hogs and puzzles), BUT I do spend several hours a day writing — typing away on my computer keyboard — and I absolutely love this keyboard!It’s not absolutely silent, but it’s worth so much more to me to be able to feel and hear whether I’m actually HITTING the keys . . . especially the shift key. (My #1 complaint about my last, non-mechanical and utterly silent keyboard . . . I couldn’t tell whether I’d actually hit the shift key, and so I’d end up with extra edit-time, and nobody wants that!)Crisp response . . . that you can feel with your fingers! Love it love it love it!I almost forgot to mention the awesome rainbow back-lighting!! Which means that whenever I’m inspired to write, I can . . . without turning on lights and disturbing anyone. A great side-benefit! And easy to control — there’s a special on/off key right on the keyboard!Highly recommended!

Three words: non-standard layout.Pros: Spill-proof, Nice backlighting, solid keys, metal frameCons: Non-standard layout, keys require a little higher pressure to press, non-standard layout, must use FN+key to do any special keysI really wanted to like this keyboard. I haven’t spilled on it (yet) but it seems engineered to handle that eventuality well. The RGB backlighting is nice, but unobtrusive. The metal frame is solid and gives the keyboard a nice feel. The key caps are solid plastic and seem quite durable.But the layout. OMG, the layout. Sadly, I didn’t even think about that when I purchased. Who would expect the key layout to be non-standard?The left-hand CTRL, WIN, ALT keys are all significantly smaller than standard. This shifts the spacebar about 1 1/2″ to the left. That means my right-hand thumb presses on the very end of the bar, making it difficult to press. So I have to use my left thumb more often than not.In addition, the standard INS/DEL/PgUP/etc block above the arrow keys is in a 2×3 block rather than a 3×2 as on standard layout. Thus, when I want to hit END, I have to hunt for it, instead of just reaching over with my pinky. If I do that now, I hit the DEL key. Most annoying.I’d love to return it, but I tossed the box and such, so I doubt that’s an option anymore. I’ll probably keep it as an emergency keyboard, but I’ll definitely be looking for another one. Disappointing.

I’m an avid gamer and I’ve always used razer products in the past. I recently spilled a glass of water over my razer keyboard and didn’t have the money to invest in a new one so I picked this up figuring I’d be able to use this until I had the money to invest in a new razer keyboard but I have to say, I’m really impressed. This keyboard was $20 and does just as good a job as my razer keyboard and the backlight is just as vibrant and this actually feels a lot sturdier and better quality but that’s probably because it has a metal outer frame.It isn’t a mechanical keyboard, it’s membrane so fellow gamers please keep this in mind but even so, it’s a fantastic keyboard and I’m so happy I went with this. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a new keyboard! Save your money and go with this!

I bought this a a replacement for my 6 year old keyboard. I game for about 2-3 hours a day, plus an additional hour of basic internet surfing. Maybe I got a faulty one, or perhaps this breaks down with heavy use. I had this for 1 month before the direction keys stopped responding, or would have a delayed response, as well as the #2 key. I had to purchase yet another keyboard to replace this one.Pros: It feels nice when you type, somewhat mechanical, but a lot quieter. The lighting is adjustable and a nice touch. Set up super easy.Cons: Sits at an uncomfortable angle for me. It stopped properly responding to key presses after just a month of daily use.

I generally wait a while before review a product because I like to test them out and make sure they perform well and hold up before submitting my review. But keyboards are easy because they don’t really take days to test.I fell in LOVE with this keyboard when I first plugged it in!!!!!!! I love the large “throw back” keys. It’s made for gaming and it may make me break out some old computer games just to try to awesome keyboard layout!.It’s bright and colorful and color coded. And….the base is STEEL or aluminum or something other than plastic. It’s so freaking cool. Once purchase I am definitely glad I made.
