Good keyboard for the price. Products is used.

I’m conflicted on this review. Honestly for $17.99 it’s a great keyboard. It feels like a mechanical keyboard, the keys are high with great response. The cons are small but quite annoying. First, like someone had mentioned in the reviews here, the keyboard seems to be a return. One of the twist ties was undone, and my backspace key was undone on one end (see picture). Also, the paint job is a bit sloppy (see other picture). The RGB cannot go one solid color, which seems odd but I’m sure there’s a reason for that. Now, knowing that, if you’re looking for that kind of keyboard for very cheap, it works.

It’s pretty good to say the least.

This is the first time I purchased and use this gaming keyboard. I seen it around before in Fry’s electronic but thought I didn’t need it until later on I got a new laptop. The reason is I need a gaming keyboard is because I didn’t want to abuse the laptop key letters (mainly the ASWD and space bar etc) so often to the point it would lose its durability sooner than later. So I went for this gaming keyboard. And now I want to share some thoughts about it.What I like about this product:It looks awesome. I like the design behind it as well as this interesting placement with the space bar. It’s got LED lights and doesn’t really require to download a driver since it simply operates just fine like a regular keyboard once you plug in the USB. (But just in case, read the instruction…)Now what I don’t like about this product:This keyboard is rather…big. Maybe too big for my hand to the point I start to feel ache on my wrist and thumb. This is due to that unique space bar placement I mention. I mean it’s good in some way just because it’s different. However, if anyone with a same size as my hand have trouble with it, then it could be a problem. Then again, I gotten use to playing my left hand on the laptop keyboard since the gaps between the keybinds i click are very short so I’m willing to give this product a chance for a bit longer.Overall result:I give it 4/5! However, I do want to give reminder to gamers with small hands: Please be sure to check the measurement size of the keyboard to ensure you don’t strain your hand too much.

Very good, Except for the LEDs

Very good quality keyboard. Very durable, and sturdy feeling material. The key press feels nice, and the actual keys them self, feel very good. The USB wire is braided, which is always nice. The only reason I am rating four stars though is because of the price, if it was anymore, I would rate three; and this is because of the LEDs.The LEDs give little to no customization, you have 3 lighting settings when using the most basic options. So, the brightness key controls the brightness of the LEDs, and the pulse key controls the rate at which the LEDs pulse. You have three preset LEDs to go through, and that’s all you have. The only other customization features, are setting brightness, and you have a pulse option. It doesn’t have any software to go along with it, and I haven’t been able to find any online. I would rate 3.5 stars if I could. This is just what you get for a 20 dollar keyboard.Overall, It’s a GREAT, Keyboard, and you should buy you are looking for a cheap keyboard.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL WITH A CAPITAL “A”

First of all, if you are interested in the 4 and 5 star reviews, remember this is one of those “I give it to you for free if you post a good review” kind of thing.I received this keyboard on April 7, opened it and put it into use on April 11. 28 days have gone by. Just with casual use (I’m a Googler, not a Gamer,) the black surfaces of the key caps are already wearing right through to the light underneath. It SPECIFICALLY says in the listing that this WILL NOT happen! As for the “RGB LED Backlight,” it’s not what you think. You have three choices. These are NOT RGB LEDs… they are 2-color. So you have three different combinations of color, that’s it. Not to mention the key labels are dim and the spaces between the keys glare brightly at you, so forget trying to use it in the dark. Imagine looking at a light and holding a key up to it… the only thing you can see is the glare surrounding the keys. It’s listed as strong and whatnot, but no… it’s flimsy. It’s sitting here flexing away as I type this.Keystrokes are frequently missed. At first, I thought it was just me taking a bit to get used to a new keyboard, but nope… sometimes you press a key, it “clicks,” but nothing happens.Cheap (and cheaply priced,) not what I’d consider a quality item of course, but COME ON, can it last more than a couple weeks, please???

Edited: I knew it was too good to be true, buyer be ware!

I am in the market for a new keyboard and when I stumbled upon this one I thought there had to be a catch as this package included everything I wanted. I wanted a keyboard with RGB backlit keys and a palm rest. This one shipped with those features plus included a mouse and even mouse pad. What’s more, it was priced at a mere 25 dollars.I should have known something was wrong, but when I researched the product on Amazon I saw hundreds of glowing reviews and/or 5-star ratings so I thought it was safe to buy this product. Unfortunately, I was duped. This keyboard was sold as new, but as soon as I opened the package I saw it had clearly been previously used. The space key and a spring were completely detached from the keyboard. There were scratches and other signs of wear on the logo that sat atop they keyboard. What bothered me most though were the disgusting grease spots that were still present on the keyboard from whomever had previously owned the thing. I shoved this piece of trash back in the box it arrived in and requested a full refund within 10 minutes of receiving the delivery. This was by far the worst condition of any product I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. I will never buy from this brand again.Edit: On June 4th the seller shipped a free replacement of this item to me. Although I had already purchased a new keyboard I did agree to update my review if/when the replacement item arrived – if it warranted an updated review. I am happy to report it does deserve a second chance. The company rectified its mistake and I am sufficiently satisfied with the keyboard I received. It’s a basic 20-dollar keyboard with LED lights that breathe, although you can turn the LED’s off, lower their intensity or slow their rate of breathing. The mousepad and mouse are nice additions to this package and make this a great value. I had to order another keyboard because my initial order shipped defective, so this keyboard won’t be the one I use on a day to day basis. However, I will admit you can do a lot worse than this Npet offering and for the price, I am not sure there is a better value readily available as new. Because of their customer service I have upgraded my initial rating from 1-star to 3-stars.

    Great looking keyboard

I really really like this keyboard. I love the colors, they shine brightly and the gradient is just really cool. They keys are nice and easy to push, and they aren’t too loud. I type pretty fast and there’s nothing I hate more than a loud keyboard, because the faster you type the more noise it makes. The only weird thing I would say about this keyboard is the backslash and enter/return button. Every other keyboard I’ve ever used has a longer return button and the backslash is on top of the return key, this one has a taller return key and the backslash is next to the apostrophe/quote key. Which makes it a bit hard to get used to. But eventually I will. But it’s still weird.tl;dr it’s a great keyboard, nice coloring, lights up well, types good, enter button slightly strange.

Great mechanical feel, solid build, bright backlighting

The keyboard lights up in tri color mode. It is not possible to set this keyboard up to light in one solid color. But that is OK. I suspect that the LEDs used for this keyboard are dual colored not true RGB. So one section only lights up in green, blue, or cyan. Another section in red, blue, or magenta. And the third section in red, green, or yellow. But this is OK. I really just want a keyboard that I can use in a subdued lighting environment (since I am working at home, in the basement due to coronavirus) and has brightly lit keys, has a good mechanical feel and good key travel, and seems to be robust. I understand that this keyboard probably cannot be configured to use the real-time dynamically changing colors of Fire Emblem, Skyrim or some other game but I don’t need this or care. I use the keyboard for work, not gaming. I just want a solid, robust, backlit keyboard. And for that, this keyboard is wonderful.

    Good keyboard for the price

Very good keyboard for $30. I’m not so good with typing, but I am happy with my use for this keyboard, which is gaming. the keyboard itself lights up, but you can’t customize it. Didn’t really mind. all of the keys are very responsive and they all work. There are drainage channels in the keyboard, but I haven’t tested this keyboard for being water resistant because this is the only keyboard that I have. my only complaint is that its really loud if you type or game on this thing.

Great keyboard with good feel, but came dirty.

When I opened the box, I was disappointed to see that there was dust and some splotches of grime on the aluminum front of the keyboard. It was a little disappointing to have to clean a brand new item before using it. Once that was done though, I was pleasantly surprised. The raised keys made cleaning fairly easy, and the blue switches have, in my opinion, a nicer feel than their Cherry counterparts. The backlighting is a bit of a gimmick, not real RGB, but I don’t care too much about that. I would, though, prefer a regular white backlight than the multicolored ones, for a more professional look. The aluminum face seems rigid and durable, staying firm when putting stress on it.Although my first impression was less than stellar, I do like the keyboard, and the price was low, so I suppose it was somewhat expected.

    So far so good!

Our work changed our computer and our keyboard. The work keyboard had no travel and keys would often stick. Although this keyboard is for gaming, it has lots of travel and is responsive. The lights add an extra flair and co-workers are often curious. Overall, for the price, the quality is great. It isn’t quiet but that would mean the keys would be lower profile.Update:Two months of using this at work, the “R” and “I” stopped working on a consistent basis. I contacted the seller and Phoebe was very helpful, prompt and sent me a new keyboard to try. 5 stars as this keyboard is affordable, comfortable and with great customer service.
