Prettiest keyboard out there for 70 bucks

Switches – Ajazz Blues3.5/5The switches on this keyboard are acceptable. I don’t like how both the click and the clack are quieter than Cherry MX Switches (and Gateron/Outemu), but the overall construction seems solid. I couldn’t sense much variation in the weights of the keys and the switches also seem to click at a uniform loudness. The spacebar and modifier keys have no distracting metallic clank which I find is a plus. The stem is blue and the housing is clear.Construction4.5/5The only issue I have with the construction is that it uses a glossy plastic casing. The top plate is a nice looking piece of aluminum, but the back is a very cheap feeling plastic. On the other hand, while it feels cheap to the touch, the construction seems sturdy enough. The keyboard exhibits very little flex and typing on it feels solid.Lighting6/5Phenomenal lighting. It’s got a bunch of different modes and they’re all really pretty. Text doesn’t do well for explaining it so go look up a video instead.Keycaps4/5They work. I don’t much fancy the smooth texture, but that’s personal taste. They are a little thin, and constructed out of abs plastic, but much more expensive keyboards use similar keycaps so it’s not that big of a deal. PBT keycaps alter the keyboards sound signature – they usually sound much less high pitched than ABS keycaps – but they’re also more expensive.

Best USB RGB Keyboard i’ve Ever Used.

first let me say this is one of the most coolest keyboard i’ve every used i’ve been using many keyboards from Corsair to even Razer this is one of the first keyboards to use on board Profile setup on the fly. being able to switch effect by hitting FN +F8 change my effects was fun and fast. & yes this is a Full RGB keyboard. I found myself able to type faster with this do to it having a small profile with every key next to each other. also with the switches i’m get a nice click sound when using the keyboard. also i have the option to use a program to change my effects for Each key that’s right each key are RGB. So if i don’t wanna use the onboard RGB do to the color options i can pick from over 16 million colors. photos will be added. now for the gaming part. As i said before about the size. do to it being small the key layout is space together so being able hit WASD and numbers are easy for people thats not used to using keyboards. i am a owner of the Corsair K65 Corsair Strafe RGB and Gamdias user and 10 other keyboards and i use this the most to game with and type even tho my corsair keyboards are made for gaming and i like the red switches as this keyboard here i have are blue switches i found myself using this everyday. do no if its cuz its small RGB and lets me play games better. but i guess its more moble with a single USB cord. tryin to hide the cord its easy then others. so that being said this is a very good keyboard. just wish the program that you can download had more options with custom the effects like other companies.

Great rgb, second functions light up, and mech black switches

This keyboard is great if you need one on the go. It’s NOT bluetooth or wireless and only works when you have the cable plugged in, but I don’t mind it not being wireless. I already like the fact that its small, easy to carry around, and you can you any MINI USB (Not Micro USB) to have it to work. All the keys light up including the secondary functions (Play/Pause, Volume up/down, etc.) and it helps when I am in the dark gaming or watching youtube and need to adjust anything. The tactile feedback of this keyboard feels like my mechanical blue switch keyboard but without the sound and I love that (This keyboard has black switches). I had a redragon mechanical red switch and I just couldn’t get use to the feedback and I kept messing up when I type. The only con I see on this keyboard is that they used a mini usb which is dated instead of a micro usb, which most people will have planty lying around. They do supply you a mini usb cable so no need to worry though.

Great budget option with an awesome light show

Ajazz has brought it with this keyboard, a full RGB keyboard that rocks solid switches that rival cherry’s. This board isnt the best when it comes to keycap quality, but what is lacks in that department it makes up for in overall build quaility. This thing is a beauty. Minus that glossy backing which I will be sanding down very shortly and adding a fresh coat of mate paintOverall its worth the buy for anyone who wants a compact and pretty keyboard that is also is a great template for keyboard moders who wants to customize the board to their own liking

Extremely good keyboard, at an incredible price

Extremely good keyboard, at an incredible price!Good things about this keyboard that come to mind:-No wasted space, keys everywhere-Keys & switches are very good – tactile and very responsive-Detachable cable so when you need to carry it, you can pack the cable and keyboard separately-True RGB backlighting with modes like reactive touch (the key you press illuminates) and it is customizable.-No software required for backlight, fully managed by onboard controller (this means no drivers and works w/any OS).-Comes in a cool box and very well packagedSome things to be aware of:-The right shift key (smaller) takes some getting used to, but I think it’s worth it to have arrow keys on such a compact keyboard.-The instructions on how to control backlighting are unclear in the manual, but found that here on Amazon so it wasn’t a problem. I’ll summarize my findings below to make it easy for whoever reads this.To customize the backlight, first hold down the FN key. With FN key held down:- Up/Down arrows to control backlight brightness- Left/Right arrows to control color-Tilde (~) key to go into individual key customization mode (caps lock button will start flashing). In this mode, press individual keys (and their color will change with each press) until they are your desired color. Then FN+Tilde will save that config and that will be what you get when you press FN+Tilde again. (Pressing twice will trigger customization mode)- F8 to cycle through different modes (there are a lot and some are dynamic and affected by your typing speed for example).

    Incredible!

This little keyboard is AMAZING!I purchased this to replace an 8+ year old Logitech G15 gaming keyboard. The G15 was big, bulky, and took up way too much desk space. Using my Wacom tablet over the years and having to move that bulky G15 was a pain. The Ajazz AK33 RGB is incredibly compact. I believe it is a 75% layout, because it’s a bit smaller than a tenkeyless which are 80%. I knew it would be small, but I am surprised at how little space this takes up. It’s perfect. It is just the right size to still be comfortable typing on without feeling cramped.I got the blue switches version, and coming to actual mechanical switches from the membrane style switches on the G15 is just…wow. The difference is incredible. I absolutely love the clicky sound of the blue switches. I had heard blue switches were a bit loud, and while they’re definitely not silent, it’s not too loud for me at all. I’ve tested it a bit with some games, and I must say, I prefer having both an audible click and the tactile feel to the switch being activating. My second choice would have been red switches, but after listening to a lot of sound demos for all the different switch types, I decided I’m just the type that loves that click. It’s so satisfying to type on.I also noticed how much more responsive movement in games is with this compared to the membrane keyboard. It’s night and day difference. I honestly don’t know how I used that old keyboard for so long. If you are currently using a membrane keyboard, get yourself a mechanical keyboard ASAP.If you’re on the fence about the AK33 and deciding between this and maybe the Red Dragon or some of the other compact mechanical keyboards with similar specs, go with this one.Pros:1. Size. Compact, frees up your desk space, portable.2. Price. Very affordable compared to the big brands like Corsair with their $100+ offerings3. Detachable cord, makes it portable and easy to put in a backpack or storage.4. Incredible build quality. I don’t understand how this is so cheap for the quality!5. Software driver for changing color modes, setting profiles, and macros.6. At 1.34 lb, it’s light and very easy to move around on your desk.Cons:I didn’t buy it sooner. No English instruction papers included in the box

    A FANTASTIC value! (black switches)

BLACK LINEAR SWITCH STYLEI bought this keyboard after I became sick of using a full size layout, and wanted to save some desk space. The keyboard to be replaced: a full size big brand mechanical keyboard. After receiving this keyboard, my first impressions were very positive. It was well packaged, on time, and without damage. In the pictures, I have added my own keycaps which do not come with this keyboard. The layout is great, although it should be mentioned (illustrated in attached pictures), there are specific keys that will NOT be compatible with a STANDARD replacement set of keycaps. Those keys: (left side): Esc, Delete, and (right side): Control, Shift, End, and the 4 arrow keys. The esc and delete keys are normally the size of one normal key, or “1u”–on this keyboard, they are the size of two normal keys, or “2u”. The up, down, left, right, and end keys are normally 1u, on this keyboard they are 1.25u (or the size of control, windows, or alt keys). The right control key is normally 1.25u, here it is 1u. Last but not least—the WEIRD shift key. It is normally 2.27u, but here it is much smaller at 1.25u. Are you confused yet?! I couldn’t find this information anywhere before I ordered it, so there you go if you are curious. If you buy a standard keycap set to replace the shiny ABS black plastic keycaps this comes with, you will have to buy a set and then extra blank keycaps that match the row of the one you’d like to replace. Ex: if I wanted to replace the right side control key, I would have to buy a blank keycap of “R1” aka the bottom row.The only other complaint that I have: the bottom of the case, even though it has “rubber” feet is still very slippery on my wooden desk. Surprisingly enough, a bit of saran-wrap did the trick and now it doesn’t go anywhere. The LEDs are just plain fantastic. Since the manual (at least the one that came with my keyboard) is not in English, I looked up a tutorial online and easily found out how to cycle through them all. Holding Function + F8 will change the pattern—breathing, static, etc. Function + right or left arrow will change the color. Function + up or down arrow will adjust the brightness of the LED’s. It’s very easy. I didn’t install any additional software, and haven’t found a reason to so far.The black switches are very nice. I prefer them greatly over the standard “clicky” mechanical switch that’s typically used for gaming. The difference is: there is no tactical “bump” or audible “click”. The “bump” happens when the key actuates when you press the key. Instead, the black switches are linear–they are smooth, not nearly as noisy, and are very comfortable to type on. However, this is very much a personal preference, and you should consider what’s best for you. For example, the blue switches will annoy your coworkers as they are quite loud, so do NOT buy that style to bring to the office. And with that–I think that’s it! I really love this keyboard and may purchase another to take with me along with my laptop. It’s small enough for travel which is greatly appreciated. You truly cannot buy another keyboard with the RGB features and build quality for a better price elsewhere. If you were on the fence and about to buy a keyboard from whatever major brand at 3-4 times the cost—I would greatly suggest you buy this one instead. I don’t miss the numpad enough to go back to a fullsize keyboard.

Amazing little board for a great price.

This 82 key 75% keyboard is, imo, a nice little piece of gear. I replaced a Blackwidow Ultimate with this, and am so far really happy with it. I’ve got an RGB mobo and case fans, and while I don’t have them strobing all over the place, it’s nice to change my color scheme to suit my mood or game I’m playing. I’m not so into keyboards that I need specific keypads or switches. This is nice and clicky, and can function just fine as a tiny form factor board with no lighting, subtle accents, or a vomit of rainbows. The pre-made modes are nice without drivers, but the software makes it really cool to make your own profiles. The software is in mandarin, but it’s fairly easy to figure out. It would also make a great travel board. It is fairly loud, but that’s what I wanted. I’m sure those with Filcos or Topres will look down on this as a cheap gimmick board, but it’s really just as functional, for me, at a fraction of the price. As always, try it and send it back to Amazon if you don’t like it!One thing to note: 5-7 day shipping for this is actually a dollar more expensive than a month of PRIME, so it’s a better deal to just get prime and get it faster.

    Unbeatable quality for the price.

If you’re looking for your first mechanical keyboard with a 65% layout, this is the board for you.I received this keyboard a few days ago and wanted to use it before I wrote a review of it. First off, the keyboard came much sooner than expected which was great. When it arrived, the keyboard was held in its box by some thick sturdy foam and wrapped in a soft flexible plastic to keep it scratch free. After I pulled the keyboard out, I saw that it came with a keycap remover and a brush to help you clean in between the keys which was a nice plus. The cable that it comes with is also really high quality. They use their own brand of AJAZZ blue switches for the majority of the keyboard with the space bar, left shit, backspace, and enter using their purple switch which I think is similar to a brown switch. The stabilizers on the keyboard really help give those four keys a nice deep sound to them which is very soothing to listen too. The lighting is really just a cherry on top with this keyboard between all the modes and the four profiles that you can setup to look however you want. You can also create macros on this board. With how the keyboard is laid out, it will take some time to get used to using it. The right shift is only 1.25u which was a bit weird at first, but I adjusted just fine. Overall: 10/10
