Nice keyboard. Would highly recommend. Not sure what people are talking about with delayed response times or otherwise poor performance. I am an insanely fast typist and it has no issues with keeping up with me. I have been slamming on this keyboard now for about 6 months, so has my gaming son, on his copy with no issues. I only bought a couple of these because they were like $12, and I needed something to double as a good zombie killing weapon in a pinch (these things have some heft). This is nice when I’m slamming on it to keep it in place, and also helps to keep in place when resting on my lap if I’m computing on the couch.I wasn’t black-mailed and haven’t received any bribes for a review, biased, unbiased, or otherwise. No animals were harmed in the writing of this review.

I got this for a second workstation area. I needed a backlit keyboard but didn’t want to pay $50-100 or more. This fits the task perfectly. Not only that, but I was surprised by how good the keyboard is! Now, I don’t know if it would fit all of a gamer’s needs (n-key rollover, etc.), but the keystrokes seem responsive to me. Very similar to Logitech G710, but softer keystrokes since these are not mechanical.Nice, standard key layout also, nothing fancy. And not overboard on the “WASD” keys. (for one thing, I use numpad if I play a game, and second, I hate when companies make red WASD keys – I don’t want to see those keys separately from the others all day long!)Three colors is a bit limited but the color choices are nice.The backlighting is done very well – not blinding at all, very good lighting through the keycaps as well as underneath the keys.I even had an issue with my cable being loose, and seven months later, when it popped out of the case, the company sent me an updated 7-color version! I truly wasn’t expecting them to do that. Thank you for caring about your customers!

Uneven light distribution, some keys are lit while other are not, “backspace” had different fonts, nothing uniform about where the numbers/letters are placed on the keys. All of the above is acceptable for a keyboard of this price, however that wasn’t why I returned this keyboard.I returned this keyboard due to a backspace key that was temperamental, and decided if and when it wanted to depress, furthermore it would also pick and choose when to stick down after depressing. Luckily it didn’t erase large text or emails I wrote before I could get it to unstick.Furthermore the space and shift buttons screeched and screamed when they didn’t jitter when pressed. Ultimately what seemed like a good deal turned out to be too good to be true, and had to go back to the land of screaming jittery keyboards.

I am going to leave my brief original review at the bottom.I was contacted by a customer service representative from DBPOWER. The representative was concerned about my experience with the keyboard i purchased and wanted to send me one because of the DOA I sent back. The company appears to be concerned about the brand and we went back and forth through just about 12 emails discussing the keyboard. I was impressed because this is from a brand I had never heard of and at the time of my original purchase, the keyboard didn’t have many reviews. So that is awesome.So here I am typing to you on my new keyboard, and just as I hoped it is everything I need, as well as want, in this keyboard.I bought it because my first generation Coolermaster Devastator was starting to fail due to being used (and abused) over years of gaming and general usage. I needed a keyboard that had back lighting, membrane switches for a relatively quiet sound, and an enter key layout that was similar. This keyboard satisfied all of those needs. What I wanted in the keyboard was more color options, and I wanted it to look like the keyboards from the old Dell school computers I learned to type on. This keyboard satisfied both of those wants. The keyboard has breathing and light level features, and those are HARDWARE features. I can plug the keyboard into any and use the light features. The downside is the keyboard doesn’t appear to remember saved lighting preferences. I have to set the lighting every time. However, that is the same on my coolermaster devastator so not an issue for me. There are 3 colors, red blue and purple, and 5 light brightness settings ,aside from off, for each color.TL:DR Received broken product. RMA, then customer service sent me a new one. Company wants a good image and happy customers. Keyboard is great for being a basic membrane keyboard with back lighting. I’m happy, and will most likely buy products from this company to fit my needs in future.Original 3 star review.DOAReturn process was painless.

It has a weird WSAD switch gimmick that no real gamer would ever use. But the response time is ok for moderate gaming.Color selection is limited but the keys feel pretty good for the price. It is not a mechanical keyboard. Which I find to be a good thing.This is the smallest form factor for a full-sized keyboard that I could find. That is a big plus for me. It’s also easy to clean between keys.Typing feels good enough as well and you have access to a full Numpad which is a necessity for some developer software like Blender.It does tend to slide easily on hard surfaces, however. So you might want a pack of rubber stick pads to go with it. Which strangely probably cost more.
