Save your money.
It’s a hollow copy of its former self. As always, Bethesda has to be really hard even on easy modes. It’s a button masher shooter. Aside from decent graphics and cool music, it’s redundant. We get it… You have to kill 1 million monsters with no ammo or health. Last time I drop 60 bucks on a game that starts you over from the beginning every time you die in each level. But, at least the acrobatics are annoying.

Boy this game is good – its so much fun, sooo much fun. I’ve played a ton of FPS and I particularly like when shooting aliens etc – not real people and well, this game has it all. I play a little (or as much as I can) late at night and its just intense. Actually, I don’t recommend to play it at night – its TOO intense!But so far, the fame play is fantastic, the action is awesome, the monsters crazy and the guns are unreal – well worth whatever you pay for it, play it, do it, but remember, not before going to bed and ideally with AC on – its just a work out in the couch.

He has reported back that it’s as good if not better than Doom 2016 and really quite challenging. This one includes more designs from the original game along with other skins that you can unlock through game play. If you liked Doom 2016 you’ll like this game too.

First-person scrounger
Loved the first Doom. It didn’t take long to realize Doom Eternal is different in all the bad ways for a casual gamer. Ammo is immediately the limited resource creating multiple frustrating long playovers. The new “arachna-whatever” is just a bullet sponge unless you can hit the 2 pixel stinger. The fat floating eyeballs are now grenade sponges. To get armor you need to press a third button (flamethrower) so ememies drop armor thingies. So your spending your battle time continually scrounging instead of fighting. Or doing the same redundant “glory kill” move over and over and over.Doom should not be a first-person scrounger. Even the story tells you: “rip and tear”…. because you sure aren’t going to have any bullets or grenades. I wondered why this dropped on gamepass. Now I know. Also, prepare yourself for xbox/Bethesda Steam!
