Mouse Wrist Rest Not Same Quality

The mouse pad is not the same quality. First of all, these are just rubber, cardboard, neoprene, and foam. Nothing special. The keyboard wrist rest has the top portion stitched to the rubber backing. The support structure, based on pliability seems to be plastic or something similar. Quite good quality and I’m happy with that purchase. The wrist rest is another story. The neoprene cover is stitched to a cardboard backing, then the rubber no-slip is the glued to the bottom. Mine arrived with the rubber backing in the corner already peeling, an immediate QA issue off the bat. Under that corner you can see a different orange color stitching than the black on top. Quite curious, the stitching patterns seem to line up, but I can’t say with such a small sample size. Maybe its dyed after the fact. Either way, the mouse wrist rest is not the same quality craftsmanship as the keyboard wrist rest. The mouse one is being exchanged maybe for the compact/slim. We’ll see how that construction is. If the construction was the same across the line, that would be a different story. Also I believe Anker makes this product because they advertise it on their webpage blog.

Kinda flimsy… and definitely not worth $14

Apologies, upfront for being the guy that bases a review on the price of the product, but I gotta say, “$14… for this?” Materials and construction don’t merit more than $6.It’s pretty flimsy, and it’s warped (curled up at both ends), so it rocks a bit as I move my wrist around on it. (I’ve tried gently bending it in the reverse direction to flatten it out, but it always reverts to the warp.) The stitching was coming apart at two places on the under side, right out of the box. The cushioning is also pretty firm… I guess I was anticipating something a little softer. It works, but as you can tell, I was expecting a little more.

It is expensive, and I really wanted to like it – but I don’t. 🙁

I bought this wrist rest after reading the 5-star reviews that really praised the product, and especially since it’s QUITE expensive I wanted to like it. I really wanted to like it even if I didn’t *really* like it. But after a few weeks of using it, I just don’t like it.The biggest complaint is it’s just too firm for me. The fabric or outer material used isn’t bad at all… it’s not a “sticky” kind of gel-like material. It’s easy to move around on. But it’s just too firm. In a very short amount of time I’ve already made an indentation where my left wrist rests, and now I’m pretty much locked into that spot haha.Ah well, nothing against the manufacturer or anything… just not a fan, especially for the price.

    Great rest for tall keyboards

I was looking for a good wrist pad to prop up my hands while using my new keyboard. It’s big mechanical unit and I needed about and inch to make it comfortable to use. This rest works perfectly. It’s a little taller than any of the others I’ve used in the past, the padding is firm and doesn’t give up and leave divots after just a few minutes. The cover is stitched down to the base and is very smooth. All around it’s a great, well-made item. The company followed up just a few days after I received it, asked if everything showed up ok, if I had any problems, and even asked what specifically made me choose their rest over others. That’s better service than you’re going to get from any of the mass-produced brands. I’d certainly recommend one.

Love the pads, hate the branding

Love this wrist pad and the matching mouse pad. I’ve owned a lot of wrist pads. Most are poor quality or just unsatisfying. My favorite for a while were the Grifitis; good aesthetics and comfort. As others have mentioned, the grifitis with the fabric top started to fray within a year, which sucks. I got the second gen grifiti with a smooth top, also had problems with them coming deformed and wearing too fast. Glorious PC Gaming Race got it right. Very comfy and great shape. They have stellar build quality…. except for their brand name and logo. It’s too much. I don’t care for the name or the bearded guy. I deducted a star because of this gaudy logo on the bottom right corner.DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THESE LOGOS AND BRANDING? Glorious makes a mech keyboard without logos and they advertise the lack of logos as a plus, so they know there is a market/demand for brandless gear. I would love to remove the logo on these pads, if anyone knows a way to do it without destroying the pad. This would be absolutely perfect without it.

Great wrist pad that you forget is actually there

I’m an engineer, and I code all day. So this review will be written from the perspective of someone who really relies on a great keyboard setup to get through the day. I use this with a Corsair K65 RGB TKL keyboard, and the length is nearly a perfect match (maybe 1-2mm shorter, but who’s counting?). I was looking for a wrist rest because the ones that ship with most mechanical keyboards today are these flimsy plastic fins with a thin covering of faux pleather (that’s right, not even faux leather or just pleather, faux pleather!).I got the slim version because I was concerned the regular one would be too thick. Without having used the regular one, I have to say the slim seems like the perfect height. When long coding sessions start, it just kinda “disappears” and you forget it’s there. And to be honest, this is probably what you want with things like this – for them to be so comfy you forget they’re there. This foam filling is little firmer than than those squishy and floppy gel filled wrist rests. I was concerned at first that it’d be too firm, but it turns out the firmness really helps with support over the course of a long day. Some minor things that I wish could be better but aren’t deal breakers or star reducers for me:- Bottom of the wrist rest could be tackier. It slides around a little too easily on my desk. You could probably wipe it with water every few days to keep it tacky, or simply use one of those extended mouse mats that would give the wrist rest something to grip on.- The logo is bit puerile. I get that it comes from a meme, one which I still find hilarious, but maybe I’m just getting old – the logo could have been a little less conspicuous.TL;DR, comfortable wrist rest that just disappears the longer you use it.

    Better Aim in FPS

Keeps my wrist from hurting after really long gaming sessions. I forget it’s there like the other reviewers said. I play on low sensitivity so I can glide my mouse the whole length of the wrist rest really easily which is important for aiming.Pros: HugeSmoothWill fit any keyboard/mousepadKeeps your wrist from hurtingDefinitely improves aiming in gamesCons: I can see this being almost too big for some peopleNothing really gripping the desk so it doesn’t move around but not really a problem.

So much better than the Grifiti wrist pads!

I found out about this wrist pad by accident and I’m so glad I did. My old Grifiti wrist pad was about 4 months old and already had fraying edges and was getting kinda dirty from skin cells and whatnot. This wrist pad has a much nicer form factor in the curved sides and stiff bottom. Plus the texture is much softer to the touch. I’d say its a bit softer than the Grifiti wrist pad, but that’s not a complaint. Overall, this wrist pad looks and feels so much better. Don’t even consider the Grifiti wrist pad!I bought one a size larger than my keyboard and the extra space is great when playing league and have my left hand hanging close to the very left edge of my keyboard. I’d suggest the full-size for TLK users as well.

Much better than the Graffiti wrist page and is a godsend for those of us with Carpal Tunnel! Super Comfy.

This wrist pad is truly the best one I’ve tried and seen out in the wild for TKL keyboards.Feel like you’re fully supported while at the same time it’s not hard or stiff. It’s really as comfy as these get. For those of us with carpal tunnel these things are a godsend. Top notch quality Foam inside the pad and the logo is kickass. The grip on the bottom works great with the glass desk i’m using.vs Graffiti:While Graffiti wrist pads tend to be cheaper than these, they also are build much cheaper. For instance most of them have the top fabric peel off and fray after a month or two of use. Take a look at their reviews and you’ll see it’s a common issue. Plus they have sharper edges unless the Glorious pad which is rounded.I do wish they were priced at the same price range as the Graffiti pads at neat $15-18 dollars though as that would make the decision a no brainer for all. Sometimes these go on sale for $15 so keep your eyes out and you may score.

    Perfect

Great wrist pad! Very comfortable; not too firm, not too squishy. I bought this to match my PCMR extended mouse pad. Both have solid stitching.
