Good alternative to more expensive mice
Great mouse. Barely tried it out but love it. Simple. Good quality for the money when not trying to buy a 80+ dollar mouse. Great alternative. If you want the add on app which is helpful, I had to go to their website and find it there was no instructions included with mine. But that was easy.

Love the mouse but hate the software
I really loved this mouse, I’m just getting into gaming so I don’t have much to compare it to but imo it’s such a good mouse. The software however was unusable. I tried to update the firmware but the mouse just turns off and it’s unusable. The only way I got it to work is because I found a link from Reddit that allows it to work, but then the programmable buttons don’t work.

4.5 out of 5 due to price. Its well worth $25. It over performs.
I paid $25 + tax when this same mouse sells for approx. $69.99 at the Microsoft store near me. For the $25 to $35 range, this mouse is very worth it. But for the $70 range, I would go for a Logitech personally. I am happy with the purchase. This mouse is way better than the mouse I was using for gaming. This is a great solution for a poor gaming mouse needing a replacement.

Good with some drawbacks.
I really like the mouse. Unfortunately I have to give it a 2 star review because in 3 months its developed the dreaded double clicking issue in the left button for no reason. I already contacted hyperX technical support to see what I can do to fix it and they have yet to reply even though its been about 2 weeks. Very disappointed. Will not be buying any mice of theirs again.

Good for the price
Sometimes it seems like I have to double click on it more times that I usually would maybe it’s just me

Underrated
Pretty good for a mouse and worth a lot for its price, everything on this mouse is pretty good, the only problem is that the sides just don’t feel as good and they should just make it completely smooth instead of having some design on it. But other than that, mouse has good clicks, sensor, cable, I highly recommend it.

Love the mouse, not so much in love with the software
The mouse works great. Plenty responsive and accurate, buttons feel good, wheel isn’t noisy but does have detentes, which I like.My primary complaint is the stupid flashing color cycling logo. The only way to turn it off is to leave the HyperX NGENUITY software running at all times. I wouldn’t mind but you can’t minimize it to the system tray, it’s always there on your task bar as a running program. If the flashing logo could be disabled without leaving the software running or the software could be minimized to the system tray, I’d give it 5 stars.

The garbage software makes it unusable.
The point of getting this mouse was to be able to adjust my dpi for better accuracy. The software, however, is absolute garbage. The new beta software doesn’t save changes you make to the mouse at all, matter what you try. When you go to the subreddit for support on this, the company rep just gives a link to the old software. When you install the old software, you cannot left or right click anything unless you plug in a second mouse to change the settings for your new one. But remapping the buttons properly and clicking save and apply does nothing to fix them. It is sad that a decent product is held back by its software. I found the much nicer $70 Logitech g403 Prodigy for $30 on ebay instead if anyone is shopping for a superior FPS mouse.

Great mouse, small problem
Overall, this gets 4/5 from me. It only doesn’t get 5 stars because you need to be wary of plugging this into a dock. When plugged directly into the computer, it works flawlessly. However, if you have a dock with multiple USB ports and plug it in there, it’s VERY choppy. Jumping all over the screen which can be very frustrating. As long as you’re plugging it directly into the computer/laptop, you will love this mouse.

garbage
don’t buy this. the mouse is ok, but the software is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life, impossible to configure, and their customer service is awful. must be too much to ask to rebuild a $5 app so you can configure these things.
