Introduction & GoalIn this guide, I will give insights into ranked play in League of Legends which will likely in turn improve your ranked skill level. Although a majority of this guide is centered on League of Legends play, I focus on aspects outside of the game which can give you a competitive advantage. There are many guides already released that recycle commonly known concepts. This guide is unique in the sense that I analyze possible advantages (both in-game and out-of-game) that are relatively unknown to most players.About AuthorMy names are Frostarix & Vios (formerly Dazzling Doge). I hit level 30 in January of 2013, so I am still relatively new to the game by most people’s standards. I don’t have any background in playing MOBAs – most of my experience lies in min/maxing MMOs for highly ranked DPS parses. I approach League of Legends with a similar mentality of optimizing for maximum effectiveness. The end result of this approach was a total of 8 months to go from level 30 to Diamond 1 (January 2013 to September 2013). A few months later, I achieved Challenger for the first time (February 2014). I also hit Challenger on two separate accounts later on in the same year (June of 2014).
