A good back-up for disappointing BC games on the One
I bought this because Microsoft has shown us that we cannot rely on their releasing decent backwards compatible games for the Xbox One. Even the games that are BC are full of port-specific glitches that nobody seems interested in fixing. Also, the disk drive in my other 360 died, so I had to buy this. Cool thing about this one is the internet adapter is internal. The hard drive is also internal, but you can still do data transfers from one HD to another. Sweet!

Bought 2nd handed and it’s awesome
When our WII became obsolete we had to get a new system to watch Netflix and Hulu. It works awesome and our son loves playing games on it. Very happy. Thanks

This is the first time I’ve actually enjoyed an Xbox console–not even kidding
This is the first time I’ve actually enjoyed an Xbox console–not even kidding. I’m a hardcore Playstation girl, but there are some games that are Xbox exclusive, if only in their variations of the same game. Which is why I got this particular one; I wanted to play certain games that either look or simply perform better on Xbox. If this is any indication of what the Xbox One is like, I might be wishing I hadn’t just bought a PS4. ;)In all seriousness, this is a solid, very quiet, stable and terrific system. Haven’t had a single bit of trouble with it, only many hours of fun. If you are considering getting an Xbox 360 for any reason, I recommend this model over all the others–(and I can say that because I tried almost every other Xbox 360 model and hated them all, for one reason or another.) This is what the Xbox 360 always should have been, from the very start.

Overheating Problems
I purchased the Xbox 360 e 250 gb and received an Xbox 360 s with only 120gb hard drive. The Xbox they sent me was overheating and I had to spend an additional 10 dollars on some thermal paste and tear apart the whole entire Xbox and apply new thermal pace to the cpu. This was not worth the 50 bucks. As you can see in the picture there was no thermal paste at all on the cooler.

At least it turns on
Received product covered in scratches, a break/missing piece in one of the vents on the side, the power block is loose on the inside and makes an audible whirring sound. To top it off the console randomly turns on/off until it “warms up” then the issue is gone for a while. Product does not function as intended and it doesn’t meet the product description as far as condition it would be received in.Edit: their customer support is awesome and made everything easy. Changed rating

This is the Xbox360 hardware Microsoft should have released from the very start
After suffering for years with an Xbox 360 Elite, which constantly sounded like a Boeing 747 preparing for takeoff or a time-travelling DeLorean hovering in a thunderstorm, and which generated enough hot air to rival Mitt Romney, I finally broke down and bought the new “E” model. It’s ABSOLUTELY SILENT as long as there’s no disc in the drive — and even then it’s pretty quiet. It has one LARGE low-RPM cooling fan inside the top vents, which cover half the top surface… so it also stays nice and cool. Best way to watch streaming movies, period. The built-in wireless is also a big plus! This is an absolutely wonderful piece of hardware, backed by a still-great online service and a huge library of great games. This is the machine Microsoft should have released from the very start. I would definitely recommend this to *anyone* who missed out on the Xbox360 or is just looking to replace their old noisy one. Forget XBONE or PS4 — buy this and immediately have access to bazillions of games at cheaper prices.

Great choice
I did buy one of the used ones and received it very quickly. I got way before I thought I was going to. Ordered it on Thursday got it early saturday morning. Very quick on that. The console itself it noticeably faster than my old elite. Everything loads faster and the built in Wifi is faster than the wireless network adapter that I had for my Elite edition. I’m very happy with the purchase itself. Some people say it took a step back. But I don’t see that. It’s very quiet compared to all other versions of the 360 including the slim. I like buttons I have to press instead of the overly sensitive touch buttons. I don’t know how many times I was in the barracks hanging out with a buddy with the slim and we turned off the console by accident when we brushed against it. Didn’t care for that. The loss of the digital audio out is also not a huge issue for me. The sound runs to my TV through HDMI and my surround sound is run through my TV. It wasn’t a huge deal to me. Overall the console it great. It’s working way better than my last one. If you’re going from any version prior to the Slim and are looking to upgrade go straight for the E. I love it. And recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade to a newer 360 system.
