I bought this for a headset for HTC vive I am always breaking headsets on my vive because of usage of my HTC Vive i place it on floor often the pick up headset off floor put on my head every-time I am just trying to fit around my vive band I shorten the cord wrap it and put on vive connector but seems like simple thing but every 3 or 4 months they snap on the joint of where the extenders for lengthening the headset for bigger heads. This is new but seems sturdier on that joint the last different brand bent inward to fold so it was broke, the previous different brand before that cracked on top of band, so I am not having luck with headsets in general. I can’t buy expensive ones nor do I want to if I am going to plug into my HTC vive. When these first arrived I was concerned with the jack having 3 output lines aka spaces which I am sure is for R/L and mic channel. But they sent an adapter for that I however found my vive didn’t need it and L/R channel worked without it. The other question I was worried when I seen it had USB plug and if that was needed for my headset L/R I would take it back however, I was also relieved to find the USB didn’t have anything to do with L/R channel maybe it’s for plug in play or microphone. I don’t know but Vive doesn’t need microphone it already has one. The head set sat well on my ears like most fat headsets do, It’s a slight heavier than my last ones but seems like cushions on this are thicker and keep my ears covered completely a bit warm for vive but it’s alright. I rather have sturdy than weak bands. I can’t stand weak bands although these are not metal I don’t know many that are in modern ones which are this inexpensive. I hope these ones last first session went well. The sound volume was decent some headsets don’t pump out volume but this one was loud enough and didn’t hear any cracks or squeaks in speaker. Didn’t test microphone don’t know about that. Cords seemed sturdy and long enough for a desktop or gamer. HTC vive i wrapped them up into a bundle and this bundle was a bit longer and bigger and heaver because of premium cords not so thin. The other good thing was it came down one speaker which I am glad it’s modern design of only having wire down one side instead of two wires. I think you probably find these very fine for first speakers or for someone who plays rough like your annoying cousin or neighbor kids breaking your highest end headsets give them these.

This is a decent gaming headset out of the box but I bought this for my 9 year olds b-day and it didnt last 2 weeks. The 3.5mm jack end broke off in the controller and a few days before that I noticed a bunch of wear where the cord enters the rubber boot. Since I bought it a few weeks before my sons bday on 7/12 I cant return it. MPow makes good stuff but this was disappointing.

Bought these headset since I broke the previous ones I had and after seeing the 4.7 star rating and at a great price so I figured they’ll be a great pair of headsets but unfortunately they’re not all that good. The noise cancellation is HORRIBLE. It picks up every little bit of sound. I can hear the sounds from my house in the headset as if they were coming from the people in my party chat while game. It’s so bad I can hear myself breathing. Smh I just got them on Thursday 2/13/2020 and I will be sending them back to buy another brand. Sucks because they are comfortable and unlike my last pair, these has a mute button. But whatever they’re going back.****Updated****To my surprise, the company was gracious enough to contact me via email after my original review within a few days. The rep was was apologetic about my issues with the headset that I purchased and offered to fix the problem right away by sending me a new upgraded version of the headset. This is what I cool going above and beyond for your customers. Being in the retail business as a manager at two major companies for over 10 years, I was VERY impressed by the service that I was provided. Kudos to the company for reaching out and addressing my concerns right away. So I’m giving them 5 stars based on they’re customer service alone. Too I can’t rate them higher. Thank you Mpow team. Zoom callers mentioned there is a lot of static, even with Zoom’s auto noise suppression; this static disappears when I switch to my $16 bluetooth earbuds. Adjusting the mic positions somewhat reduce the static — but it’s annoying having to adjust the mic when my bluetooth perform better!UPDATE 2: Got a different-brand headphone with USB connection, and it works much better.

I bought this headset for my son to play games on his PC and so far he has been satisfied with the sound and microphone quality. I also tested it by putting it on and listening to Youtube music & videos. Bass was decent, it was comfortable on the head. It has been only a short time to make a comment on durability but I liked the fact that the cable is braided as opposed to plastic covered. My experience is braided cables are less prone to fraying and breaking. It looks well made and sturdy, price is fair. I recommend it as a gaming or casual PC usage headset.
