The R button didn’t work.
I was really excited to buy a ds again. i contemplated on buying a new one or used, so i went with used to save money, obviously. Well when it arrived i put KH 358/2 days in, and FF IV. Everything worked fine, the screen was in perfect condition, but i noticed when i tried to run away from a battle in ff4 i couldn’t (this required holding down the r and l buttons simultaneously) So i poped in the minnish cap to test the rolling, this requires the r button. i got it to work, but it would only respond when pressed very hard. i looked at the button closely and noticed there was some sort of light brow gunk in it. Took a can of air to it, and it worked without a problem once or twice but then just went back to hard pressed response. This is my first experience buying any handheld console online, and honestly i feel like its a gamble. A lot of people get good ones, a small few get bad ones. The seller agreed to replace it however, and seemed cooperative. But it was such a frustrating process i just bought a new. For anyone that is on the fence like i was, just buy a new one. It could save you a big headache.

Buyer Beware!
Unfortunately I had to give it a star, if I could I would go with 0. Worst purchase ever! Purchase states “In used, very good condition. Great working condition! 100% functional. All buttons, screen and sound work properly. Has few cosmetic scratches on the front and back.” What I received was was a broken screen that does not work, chunks taken out of the back of the ds, and covered in a sticky filthy coating. It wouldn’t even come off with alcohol swabs. For $110 dollars I expected something nicer and imagine the disappointment when my daughter opened her package after waiting for it to come in!

It works nicely except for a small screen defect.
The DS was packaged well with everything it promises plus arrived relatively quick!So far, it works just fine with all the buttons working well, as well as the screen doesn’t seem to be that scratched.However, the only negative is the fact that the top screen is damaged a little. It has like two black lines or spots that obviously don’t go away— that’s just the damage of something inside the screen.Even with that negative side, the DS console is still in fairly good condition!I’m just happy it arrived safely and works to continue playing DS games me and my brother have had since childhood.

Do not buy a DS from this supplier
I purchased a used DS Lite that was supposed to be in used-very good condition. I expected a few scratches and some wear, but I also expected functionality and usability. This DS Lite did not just have a neat completely ruined screen, but it also had a barely functional lower screen. I tested the games on there as well, but neither the DS or GBA games functioned on it. I would advice people against purchasing a DS Lite from this supplier. I spent $100 for a DS Lite that barely turns on. Please buy a DS Lite from a local retro game store near you, or if you do not have the ability to do so, but it from any other supplier.Note- I tested the GBA games on my GBA SP, and I tested the DS games on my 2DS. The games are both in working order. The DS I purchased was not.

I ordered this for my niece, in powder blue and in used/very good condition.For one, the product is not powder blue, it seems like it has very bad sun damage. The color is more like a light toothpaste green. Both of the screens have this weird yellow ombre affect to them, another suggestion of sun damage. Does not look good.For two, there is a large unattractive crack on top of it.And last but not least, why is it STICKY? I had to wash my hands after handling it. The D-pad sticks a little bit, and the whole thing just feels grimy and dirty.I’m sure it works fine, but I would not call this “very good condition”. And I would feel guilty putting this grimy thing in my nieces hands. The only upside to this is that it was delivered 2 days earlier than expected. Unfortunately Amazon told me that it was hand delivered to someone in my home. But that was not the case because I came home to all of my packages sitting on my front porch.Unhappy customer, will be returning this product.

Bought this for my little sister for her birthday. So far so good! As mentioned there’s a few minor dents & scratches since I bought it used. DS lite & charger arrived in a timely manner, along with a gameboy game I purchased as well. Charger works, I haven’t tested the mic or DS slot yet, but I’m happy with the buy so far!

Professionally cleaned and sanitized. Hinge is tight, screens are excellent. Buttons are crisp, battery is tested and working perfectly. Reading both GBA and DS games. Thanks!And that is exactly what I received. DS Lite is the better of DS units mainly because of the backwards compatibility of a Game Boy Advanced slot. Good starter hand held for the little ones.
Bought this for my oldest daughter’s 6th birthday back in 2009. She still has it to this day and now lets her little sister use it since she has a 3ds XL too. Still in excellent working condition after almost 8 years. When my youngest daughter turned 6 she wanted a 3DS XL like her sister has now. I gave her the DS Lite and told her if she could prove she can take could care of this one I would upgrade her to the 3DS XL. It’s a great handheld gaming system to start the little ones with before splurging on the bigger and pricier 3DS XL.

Clean screens and fast responding controls
Plays like new. Controls respond fast without any delays. Both screens are totally clean, not one scratch on them or in any other part of the console. Came with charger. It is missing dust covers and the top outer cover is a bit discolored. It’s appearance is good but shows it is not brand new. It is in very good shape and plays beautifully.

Looks good but didn’t work.
When I got mine, it looked in good condition. Not a scratch on it. Charged it, then started putting in games to make sure they loaded. Everything looked good till I then tried to play a game. The screen would not react to touch by finger or stylus pen. Sent back for refund.
