Good buy. Very pleased.
Very good buy. I was not aware that Nintendo had produced a Pikachu variant for the New 3DS XL until some time after they were introduced. Needless to say by that time it was impossible for me to find one locally. Thanks to Amazon, I was able to acquire one at close to the cost of a regular new 3DS XL. It arrived new in package and functions perfectly. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I absolutely love this. I love the packaging… the Pikachus are so cute! I can’t get enough of the yellow, and everything is well put together. That’s my review, 10/10 would buy again.Aside from that…Hey guys I’m turning this little bad boy into a full collectable, hit me up for more info!It’s going to be packaged with: all the Pokémon games either in cartridges or preloaded into an upgraded microSD, charger, protective case with personally custom designed decals of the eeveelutions both front and back (with parallax imaging) along with custom decals on the inner side (all are line art except for the inner back piece so as to minimize drowning out the incredible yellow color), screen protectors pre-installed, pretty large carrying case (I got the Switch case because it happened to be able to hold way more stuff). Everything is brand new, mint condition. I turned the device on to check for functionality, works on US games. The decals will be on the case, not the device, so you won’t have to risk scratching it up on possible removal.OPTIONAL: I can even include all my other DS games and GBA games with consoles included (actual reason why I got the bigger case). The other consoles are not mint. Two are in good condition, noticeable scratches when shined on, but tiny and has no actual wear down on the material. Good System, Wrong Region
The system I got is for the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Singapore region. It can still play US games. I feel like it’s a little shady to not mention that in the product details but to also use the US version box as the picture of the product.

Looks nice, especially the inside of the clamshell. Everything besides face buttons and sticks were less impressive; especially the stylus which is in an awkward place on the bottom of the lower screen instead of the side, which is very annoying to pull out if you hold the DS against your chest. I would actually pass on this model if you need to pull out the stylus a lot w/ whatever games you play and you do hold the DS against your chest or with the device on a flat surface. Not sure why they thought putting the stylus on the bottom was a good idea. The 3D screen is still just meh, I’d have bought the the same model without 3D if they made one. No charger included, as you know.Mine was ordered new, it had never been opened, but it would freeze up and then refuse to turn on after being on for a while. Probably some electrical component failing; (not the sd card, battery, corrupted data, or Wi-Fi chip which are common issues I ruled out.) Covid-19 is not a good time to deal with Nintendo repairs, so I returned it to Amazon for a refund which was issued without hassle. (Thank you AMZ!)I’m disappointed that an unopened product would be prone to failure, and that you need to unscrew and remove a backplate just to troubleshoot with the battery and SD card. Not worth my personal seal of approval.

QS serial number
As some other people have stated this is the QS serial model. You’ll have to send it to Singapore for warranty support, but that’s not too big of a deal. You can definitely play NA region games and everything functions the same. These are the non-IPS screens so they don’t looks as good from extreme angles, but they work fine and they’re definitely bright enough. The 3D is really cool and I wish more devices used this technology. Love the pikachu design on the shell. No charging cable so make sure you pick one up, as well

If you carry this around you will get a girlfriend. Also, I absolutely love my ds. I honestly just think it’s cute. But also it’s just a good system.
