Another Disappointing Gimmick from Nintendo
If I had to describe these earbuds in one word, cumbersome is the first word that comes to mind. These are not practical to wear in bed, during exercise or just moving about the house. I don’t really know what setting you would wear these in? I assume while gaming, but they are heavy on the ears. They come with these big rubber hooks to keep them in your ear, but they are so uncomfortable. However, without the ear hooks, they easily fall out of your ears, and using the mic makes them that much harder to wear without the rubber hook gimmicks. Aside from the buds, the wire is too long and chunky, I feel like I am in a constant struggle with having to untangle myself and readjust my buds–not very comfortable to “game” in. As for the sound quality it is painfully average–in fact, there are plenty of cheap alternatives that offer better sound. They might look fun–which is why I gave them a try, but they are a big disappointment. If you want solid and versatile buds in the $35 and under price range I recommend, Skull Candy earbuds for they are sleek, affordable, and offer good sound. or, Boltune Wireless earbuds. A subpar product even by Nintendo’s standards.

Surprisingly great
I am thus far very impressed by these. They have a comfortable design, mic quality (according to my friends) is great, and sound quality is significantly better than I expected. Not quite what my audiophile ears would call great in absolute terms, but pretty good for the sub-$20 price point that I bought them at. I was also impressed by how well these block outside sound.The only downside that I can think of is not an actual fault of their own. They are unusable while the Switch is docked, unless of course you sit very close to the Switch. I actually bought them primarily to use for my PS4, funnily enough, since that has a headphone jack in the controller, and for that purpose they are stellar.

Good budget earbuds
Good budget earbuds, I’m no audiophile but I can say these put out crisp highs and smooth lows no distortion or buzz as far as I can tell. My go to earbuds are Skullcandy ink’d and these are comparable.Haven’t used the Mic yet but I like the idea and you can unplug the Mic if you don’t need it.
