Good. Few cons.
I enjoy the sleek design of the casing itself, and the feel. However there are some cons. Home button is hard to press for me, maybe you, depending on hand size. There’s an open gap in between the analog sticks and the face buttons. When playing action games, involving heavy use of the face buttons, I noticed my thumb would rub in between that small gap which caused some irritation. Not really a big issue as it is easily avoidable. Otherwise great. Seems like it can take a drop or two.

I knew this would be good for my vita since purple is my favorite color …
I was very impressed with the shipping. It came 4 days after I ordered it and a week before it was suppose to arrive. I knew this would be good for my vita since purple is my favorite color and it attracts a lot of attention when I have it at home and in public. The price was also decent even if it’s not a prime item. Don’t let the shipping price scare you. It is great. The case is snug and tight shock makes me feel more safe if I ever accidentally drop it. (Don’t jinx me plz 😉 )

Mostly for decoration, not actual protection.
I’ve owned this cover for my PS Vita for a couple of months, possibly years. It was pretty good, but it breaks too easily. Ordered one for myself and later one for my nephew, but his came with a broken clip and after falling once the whole thing cracked. Mine has a couple of pieces that have been breaking and falling off for no reason. I’ve been applying tape on the broken areas just to make sure it doesn’t get worse or that I don’t end up getting a cut because it’s very sharp once it breaks. All in all, it looks nice on the PS Vita, fits like a glove and feels comfortable to use, but it’s not meant to survive much. Pictures are from the first few cracks and pieces that fell off near the L and R button.

Cheap cheap plastic
I bought this thing on 1/5/16 thinking that it would be great to be able to protect my vita for a good price. Im writing this on 2/12/16 and the stupid thing wont stay on any more. The problem being that it’s held on by small plastic clips and it clamps onto itself arpund the Vita, kinda like how the back of a cell phone snaps into the body. However, this thing is made from very cheap plastic so those plastic tabs will snap right off. In fact the plastic snapped in half in the portion that was right above the camera. Of course the metal portion was fine, but the 95% of the case that has platic failed miserably. Find a better case or at least a case made from proper plastic.

I purchased several of these covers for myself, as I was very interested in the design. The aluminum plating looks very nice, and seems to offer some amount of protection on the surfaces. The major problems come from the cheap plastic… in particular, the plastic snap-clips. The first cover I bought (silver) has been working very nicely, snapping on and off with no problems (the cover does not fit in the carry case I bought, so it has to be removed frequently). The next cover I bought (purple) failed immediately. I removed the cover from the box, then tried to gently pull it apart to attach it to my vita. Before I could even use the cover for the first time, half of the snap-clips were completely sheared off. Unfortunately, the clips are incredibly thin plastic, so trying to super glue them back on isn’t working. The cheap-o $10 covers aren’t work the hassle to send back, so I’m just considering it a loss.As far as the actual protection they offer, well… I seriously doubt the sides would hold up against a fall, considering 50% of the covers I bought broke during the first installation. I recently purchased my vita, so I won’t be testing this any time soon.Other than that, the covers are great. The top and bottom detach completely, so you can mix-and-match colors, and they really do look great. If you are dead-set on getting this product, buy multiple.

A good Case for the Slim
The case works out great with my PS Vita Slim and I like it :)There are two things everyone has to keep in mind when buying this case. PS Vita Slim was made with the idea of that being lighter then the PS Vita 1000 and placing the case on the PS Vita Slim feels to me as I was holding the PS Vita 1000. Two was when I play more then 5 hours, I could feel the Vita was getting a little hot on the back of the PS Vita Slim. My advice is to take it out of the case time to time and clean both the Vita and case and also don’t play with the case on a hot day if your going to play more then 5 hours 😉

Great case, bad screen protector. Still worth buying.
This is a must buy if you own a Playstation Vita 2000, for the most part. When you buy this, you get two products: a screen protector and a case. First, the screen protector.It’s an average, run of the mill screen protector that doesn’t cover the entire screen area, is a pain to apply, and is generally kinda useless and flimsy looking. You’ll want to throw it away as soon as you get it.Second, the case. This case feels sturdy, is easy to grip, and fits nicely on a Vita 2000. It also fits inside of the Vita travel pouch with no issues. You should buy this just for the case and then get a HORI screen protector, because if you do that, you’ll have one strong system.

Just what I needed
After getting my first Vita,I knew I need to protect it somehow.Of course,just a travel pouch wasn’t going to protect it as well as a case.Neither a silicone case was going to keep it safe from harm.Although this case isn’t indestructible,it’s still a good way to keep a Vita safe.I searched through A LOT of online sites looking for a hard case to protect my device,but to my surprise,there weren’t many cases for the PS Vita 2000 model,most good hard cases only came for the 1000 version of it.Disappointed that I wasn’t going to find one,I stumbled across this product.Looking through the pictures shown in some of the other reviews here,the case fitted the Vita nicely, looked durable and safe.I purchased it without a second thought.When it arrived I quickly got it on my Vita.Only thing I was disappointed at was that I can’t quite reach the buttons but I don’t mind.I do not regret my purchase.So far it’s working great and looks great.

Solid case which will take at least a good drop and protect the system (which is the important part). The brushed look is also better than expected and the screen protector is standard, with a plastic piece to squish out the bubbles. The one qualm I have is the depth of the case to the buttons – while functional it does get a bit tedious / painful to folks with larger digits, especially holding the power button.

Replaced a Silicone Skin
First off, amazing shipping speed from BR Production, ordered Monday arrived Wednesday for me.I used to use a silicone skin becomes I couldn’t stand the material the PS Vita front was made of, it’s a fingerprint magnet and if you have sweaty hands it would become gross to hold. However, after time the silicone became loose and became more of an annoyance than a benefit. So I got this case to hopefully solve both of these problems, the gross feeling of the material the PS Vita is made of and the loosing of the silicone skin. So far I love it, it fits really well, and it feels great in the hands.The only thing that concerns me is that the lip on the front might make it hard for some people to reach the power, Playstation, select and start buttons. Like for me now I have to use my nails instead of the palm of my thumbs. Also the plastic may come damaged, scratches, etc., but this doesn’t really bother me.If you plan on buying this, the way I suggest putting it on is start by snapping the bottom (where the earphone jacks and power cord goes into) snaps first then the top then finally the sides.
