It came in excellent condition about a week ago
I ordered this ps vita about 2 weeks ago, and it arrived in my mail box about a week ago. And everything about his ps vita is in perfect shape. No defects in anything. Working perfectly fine. The only thing I found weird about this ps vita is, since it is a Japanese model , the X and O buttons are reversed in the menu selection on the Home Screen. The X is for Canceling an option where the O is for selecting an option, rather than the other way around. It took me a while to get used to the reversed buttons for the Home Screen. But this button reversal thing does not affect the Gameplay whatsoever. Yeah and also since this is the Japanese model of the ps vita, the instruction booklet came in Japanese, but you can easily change the language settings into English while you configure your ps vita for the first time.

Felt like an assembled product
I was rubbing my eyes when open the package. I know I purchased used, but the product I received is dirty and felt like it was assembled by two different PSP.Talk about the dirty part. When I opened up the package, you can clearly tell all buttons edges are covered by some sweat after product. Not sure if you notice, if your palms sweats while playing games; it will leaves some brown flakey substances over time. That is exactly what I saw when received my product.2nd, why I felt like it was assembled by 2 different PSP. When I received the package, the screen glass/ touch screen portion is WHITE and rest of them are BLACK. Personally, I never seen this color combination anywhere that is why it triggered me to think it was assembled by 2 different PSP.

Will Probably Be The Last Handheld Videogame System I Buy
Not because it’s that great or anything, but with smartphones, the handheld videogame system market has crashed. The Vita, after having it for around a year, admittedly doesn’t get played that often anymore. I like that I can use it for playing my PS4 system remotely. Technically you can do the same for like two PS3 games as well. The biggest flaw I found was how the system makes my hands/wrist feel after playing for longer than 30 minutes. It’s got a nice screen, touchscreen is cool too.

GREAT!
it is a full system just like you would get here but its imported expect all the manuals to be in Japanese and X and O buttons are reversed but no matter still a good system and will play on NA regions you can log into your Playstation account with no issues and system comes with language settings and region settings so it makes sure you feel at home on it ! Its a newer version than what i remember alot more slim and compact it doesn’t come with a wrist band to prevent it from falling out of your hands so go get one they are cheap anyway ! Comes with no memory card btw which is what i expected ! System runs well connects to Wifi with no issues downloads games quick and easy and games run perfect on a system of this size !

Not as described. It came damaged.
The description was used, like new, with minor scratches on the back. What I received was a vita with a lifted screen in the bottom left corner. At first I was fine with it until I realized the lifted screen caused the memory card slot to be blocked. This made the vita impossible to use since no memory card could be inserted. The vita is a great handheld and I would recommend it to anyone interested. Just look elsewhere.

You don’t even know it’s from Japan
This is the Japaness version, but nothing is different except the select button is O and the back button is X. This can be fixed be going into accessibility and mapping the buttons to switch to the American way. Another thing I didn’t think about until I got it was the power supply. Japan has an identical plug to North America. However, Japan runs at 100v while the US runs at 120v. On the power supply itself it has a converter that takes any power from 100v-240v, which covers all of the world. So no need to worry about using the charger in the US. The system is beautiful and I am so glad I picked up a brand new one after returning a beat up used one I got at GameStop.

Great portable gaming device. 4/5 stars
I bought this a while back in February and drastically liked it better than the original PSVita. I adore this device. I also own the very popular Nintendo 3DS XL. I do live in the US.So, lets cut to the chase.CONS:Trigger buttons are ‘janky’ and makes you feel like you will break them whilst playing racing games.Lack of quality games. (Over time hopefully more games will be offered, in the future such as Borderlands 2)When having your fingers on the device, you occasionally cover up the speakers. Sony should have seened this coming. The switch between the x and the o is annoying but when you think about it, that makes since. You will get used to it after a while.PROS:Good battery life.Great multitaskingDesign looks stellar and how it should have originally looked in the first place. Not a cheap feel everywhere else (except for the trigger buttons as mentioned above.)Came in a astonishing 2-3 days via prime membership.Great screen and processing power, beats the N3DS outta the ball park. The YouTube app especially works very well, and other applications.Thank god that the PSVita 2000 is not region locked. Which means that you can purchase a game in the US and play it on the Japanese PS Vita 2000.Sony is open to indie developers and there are a library of indie games.INITIAL THOUGHTS:This is a good product, I wanted to be a early adopter. The only slight concern will

Great for remote play around the house
This thing is great. I got it exclusively to use with remote play and I couldn’t be happier. Even though this is a Japanese import and the X and O buttons are swapped, the button assignment can be changed under accessibility settings to switch them around. Now it functions like a normal North American Vita.

Just about right!
It took a while to get here and was a little less than the condition I was expecting but it was very minor, It didn’t come with a charger as it seemed it was supposed to but I have enough android chargers that I’ll be fine with it!
