Easy set up, crisp mic sounds
Update:I stand by everything in my original review with a few additions. The cushions on the ear piece ARE comfy, but since corona-virus has me on conference calls for 9-10 hours per day, I do have ear fatigue. It was pretty bad at first, but these days it’s minor and only starts after about 4 hours. The controls on the back of the left ear have given me one very minor annoyance, the mic ON/OFF switch is a small ‘up/down’ slider, if you’re not used to how it feels, you have to feel around the switch to determine if the mic is on or off. It’s minor, but annoying none the less.The microphone is still stellar.The volume up/down on the left headset is still stellar.The LEDs are still stellar.The USB cord length is stellar.Overall still a great buy for the price point.Original Review:The headset is pretty comfy, my ears comfortable fit inside the circular cushion so no pressure sore issues. It has about 1/4 inch cushion on the inside of the ear piece (the ear touches this piece) and the outer circular cushion is about an additional 1/4 – 3/8 inch thick. It becomes warm after a while of use, but not bad. As far as what you can hear around you while wearing them: they’re not noise canceling, but noise dampening, a good deal for the price point.The mic is on a fully adjustable ‘gooseneck’, making it easy to move it up out of my face when I don’t need it. The sound with the mic is really crisp, it sounds great. It doesn’t pick up ambient noise from around the room (computer fans or keyboard) but it does pick up other people speaking in the room (they are muted/distant sounding, but present), this doesn’t really bother me since it means I can still use the mic when I’m not using the headphones.The USB cord has it’s own little cord wrap attached, very nice and easy way to gather up the excess cord length (it’s a very generous amount of cord).Controls are on the back of the left ear muff. It’s easy to identify which control you are touching because they feel very different, very nice feature for a quick microphone mute or volume adjustment (no RIP Headphone users moments with these bad boys!)Overall these are very impressive with a great price tag. Thumbs up.

This is a fantastic gaming headset. Giving these to my son for Christmas (I also got a headset for my youngest a while back). These are absolutely amazing for the price. These are comparable to the Blaster X headset I use in terms of microphone quality. When you’re recording gameplay, that is kind of a big deal.Pros:Price. Cheaper than Turtle Beach, much better quality all around.Sound. Great emulated 7.1 sound. Works really well and when paired with Windows Sonic you can’t tell a difference between these and much more expensive headsets.Build. These are STURDY. They’ve got exceptional padding and the earcups are very comfortable. The plastic is thick! It also sports a metal band inside. The USB cable is very good, too.Looks. I really like the metal grill on the side with the neat lion logo. Looks pretty cool when lit up.Microphone. EXCEPTIONAL MICROPHONE FOR THIS PRICE.Cons:None that I have found…Not even anything slightly negative.These are really impressive for what little money I spent. I would consider using these for myself, but I already wrapped them. Haha

loved em – but then they stopped working after two weeks
Comfy, good quality, love the padding, lights are cool – but then they stopped working after two weeks. No sound coming out of them after checking sound options, changing usb ports, restarting, the lights are still lit up so they are getting power. Unfortunate as I really liked them. I am getting a replacement sent so hopefully this was just a random dudSecond pair – the mic is robotic sounding. So…nope

Surprising Quality Sound and Performance For A Low Price. I Might Get 2

I am not sure what I was expecting from these headphones but exceptional sound was not one of them. I really got these to use with Skype and maybe a game or 2 but when I hooked them up to my iTunes I could not believe my ears. I usually use earbuds because the sound is better than with any “over-the-ear” type headphones I have tried …. until now. Not sure how they do it but the sound is equal or better than any of my earbuds plus with the microphone it adds to its usefulness. One of my other complaints with headphones like this was they made me hot and sweaty. again using some kind of magic (the page said “Breathable Soft Ear Pads” and they were right) I can attest they are very soft but I did not get overheated as I have with other headphones, must be magic :)Tried it with a couple of games and the headset worked flawlessly with the mic and less mic delay (like less than a second) than any others I had tried.Since I have no complaints and they exceeded my expectations (which seldom happens) I have to give these 5 Stars and wondering if I should just change over to these as my everyday set and give the earbuds (and my ears) a break, great product for a great price for quality like this.

Great Gaming Experience With Good Fit Also For Large Heads
Bought it for my PC (Win 10) and it worked great without any kind of set-up needed with the 4-pin plug to listen and record. Sound quality is amazing for the price. Even deep bass sound is nicely transmitted and can almost make addict to listen. Mic is not very sensitive, but the quality is decent for the price and hence other people did not have any problem to talk to me and understand me clearly.The headset is rather heavy and hence very sturdy and I have not problem giving it also to my children to use and not having to fear that the headset will break. The size is widely adjustable and it fits easily my L-size head and it would even easily accommodate an XL size head.The ear cups outsize the ears easily, hence there was never pressure felt on the ears. I really like that and that also means of course it’s very well protected against noise from outside. There is lots of cushion everywhere and hence wearing comfort is quite good, despite the slightly above average weight.

Affordable Quality
I ordered this headset a few weeks ago to use with my PS4 and wanted to use it for a while before submitting feedback or writing a review. I attached a couple of pictures for those who like to see a real user photo instead of just the manufacturer’s marketing shot.Over all, this is a great headset for the price. It has some decent weight to it which definitely gives the impression of it being a quality item. It doesn’t feel like it’s made entirely of plastic and will shatter if dropped. In fact, I have dropped it more than once over the past couple of weeks and I can confirm that no shattering occurred!The microphone is sensitive enough that I needed to adjust the PS4 input settings to accommodate how much the mic picks up. Once I did, my gaming buddies were able to hear me without any issues at all (I was initially VERY loud they said). The mic itself has a flexible arm, so it’s a matter of personal preference as to whether or not that’s better or worse than the inflexible variety. I like it, but I also am a fan of the “fold away” style – though that type is prone to breaking if the headset is dropped. With the flexible mic, you can position it as needed, so it’s pretty nice. The headset has a mute button and volume control as well (see pic).The sound quality is definitely superior. Really nice highs and lows, so a full range of sound is there, and I was really impressed by the “stereo” of it. I know that probably sounds dumb, but with some headsets I’ve used while gaming, sound moving from left to right (or vice versa) is often very abrupt and can leave you not really being able to clearly pinpoint the source of the sound in the game. This headset doesn’t have that issue at all. Transition is extremely smooth and the ability to locate a sound is very easy.As for noise cancellation, I don’t have a ton of feedback to share other than to say that I was barely even heard my dog barking at one point – until I physically saw her and removed the headset. But yeah, the noise cancelling works pretty well.One of the big things for me with a headset is how comfortable it feels when worn for extended periods of time. This one is pretty good. While not the MOST comfortable headset I’ve worn, it’s definitely not uncomfortable, so I give it 5 stars in that area. After an hour or two I am ready to remove it though, but that’s pretty typical for me.Another feature I really liked is that the cable itself feels really durable. It’s not fabric-coated, which I generally prefer, and it may not survive a pet using it as a chew toy, but it should hold up nicely for normal use. Plus, the cable is really long. I actually used the Velcro strap (which is included and attached to the cable) to bind mine so that it didn’t have as much excess, but I really like knowing the more length is available if I need it later.In all, I highly recommend this headset if you’re looking for an affordable option for a gaming headset. It would be a great gift for the gamer on your shopping list, or for someone looking to pick one up for him/herself.

Very nice, affordable, versatile headset!
Currently, I use the Arctis Pro Wireless headset for my PS4 gaming needs, but I was giving the chance to use this headset for a limited period of time.Let me start out by saying I appreciate the color choice with this headset – the all black sleek. Out of the box you will get the headset, equipped with a mic, and then an auxiliary cable splitter for connection to PCs. The headset is mainly harder plastic, with a metal band reinforcing the arch area of the headset. The band is fit with firm, yet plush, cushions that allow you to wear the headset for long periods of time without discomfort. All the cables have a braided that improves the quality and construction of the headset. Overall I would say the build quality is great overall.I am used to having virtual surround sound 7.1 and different listening modes, but it would have been ridiculous to expect that from this headset. The in-game sound is clear and provides for immersion. The noise cancelling comes by way of the earcups, these are in no way active noise cancelling headphones. With the volume decently high ( I play around 65-70%) you won’t be able to hear anything around you but the game sound. You won’t be able to tell how close someone is to you or what direction they are coming from, but all the explosions and sound effects so come through great.In terms of the microphone, it comes with a foam filter, and it is readjustable to form to your face structure. My friends on PS4 didn’t have any complaints about how I sounded in the party either. There are switches to adjust the volume and you can mute and unmute the microphone as well.One thing I wish they would include for future models is the ability to remove or retract the headset. As I mentioned these headphones are sleek and can be used with a variety of devices. I could see them even being used as an everyday pair or even a gym set of headphones. With the microphone stick out they would be goofy in public, but they if you were able to remove the microphone they would be even more versatile.Overall, if you are looking for a budget pair of headphones these may be what you’re looking for. They sound okay, you can communicate effectively with them, and they are sturdy. I have relegated to using these for my Nintendo switch where virtual surround is not exactly necessary, so it works great on the go.

An amazing quality headset!
This was my first “real” gaming headset that I have purchased. Before this, I had the cheap plastic ones that pretended to be a gaming headset. To start, the box the Tracer 30 is impressive. It already has the feel and quality to let you know that this will not be the cheap plastic headsets found in discount stores. The headset was very well protected and packed.It seamlessly synced up with my computer (PC, Windows 10) and my Android Tablet (RCA Voyager Pro). It lights up with RGB lights on the headphones and a green light on the microphone tip. The love and craftsmanship that went into this gaming headset is obvious.Now lets talk about the audio quality and microphone. The minute you put them on, you’re alone with your thoughts. Not even Markiplier’s screaming in the background was audible. I tested my music, Halo, and YouTube, and the sound quality was amazing. Microphone audio came through crisp and clear and as a former Youtuber, that’s saying something.I can already tell I will love this headset, and I would not hesitate to try more products from this company.

So overall this headset for the price is quite a good bargain. I paid about 23 usd for mine. It feels reasonably sturdy, and performs well for the price. The mic on it is noticibly better than my HyperX Cloud Mix (Which is pretty sad and HyperX should be ashamed of.) And overall I can say it is much better than my Logitech g430 which cost me about 4x as much. The packaging was done with a suprisingly high quality and looks quite professional and my friend thought looking at it that it would be about a hundred dollar headset. The headset also has an over ear design which is a must for me as my ears a quite sensative to pressure on them. But at the same time the cups are kinda shallow and my friend commented on his ears touching the speaker grills which he wasn’t a fan of. The other thing is the headset has quite a noticeable clamping pressure on my head. This has relaxed a bit after breaking in the headset a bit and may be because of my larger than average skull but like I said it is there. There are some other downsides. For one I feel the audio is good but not great, it has a bit of a muffled sound to it. It definitely useable and better than what you will get out of say some cheap monitor’s speakers but isn’t audiophile by any stretch. HOWEVER considering the insanely cheap price and the rather decent headset mic and build I am more than willing to forgive that and recommend it for someone looking for a headset on the cheap.
