The game is a sequel to the 2010 release, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and features returning Black Ops characters Sgt. Frank Woods and Agent Alex Mason, joined by a wealth of new characters.
    • Call of Duty: Black Ops II propels you into a near-future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare between old and new foes. In this conflict, the mechanized creations of men reign supreme, facing off against each other as their creators stay safe and unconflicted, and in the process grow ever softer.

      • Explore advanced weaponry and a variety of multiplayer modes and play options
    • Call of Duty: Ghosts: The newest chapter in the Call of Duty franchise features a fresh dynamic where players are on the side of a crippled nation fighting not for freedom or liberty, but simply to survive.
    • Ten years after a devastating mass event, the nation’s borders and the balance of global power have been redrawn forever. A superpower no more, the country’s once-mighty military struggles to stave off complete collapse. As what’s left of the nation’s Special Operations forces, a mysterious group is known only as “Ghosts” leads the fight back against a newly emerged, technologically-superior global power.
    • For the first time in franchise history, players will take on the underdog role. Outnumbered and outgunned, you must fight to reclaim a fallen nation in an intensely personal narrative. You’ll get to know an entirely new cast of characters and locales in a world unlike any that Call of Duty has explored before.

It (the game disc player) froze up a few times …

It (the game disc player) froze up a few times…and the headset was too short for an adult mouth. I had to twist the headset so that the earpiece was on my temple in order to get the mic close enough that my voice would register. Even then, I’d have to speak at full volume (as if I was in a crowded restaurant) in order for the mic to register and anyone to hear me. Mic only worked while using an “inside voice” if I held the mic directly in front of my mouth.I only owned the system for a month before returning it, due to the disc errors. If it’s having trouble new out of the box, it’ll likely have issues before the warranty is up, and I don’t want to deal with that noise (already had to do so with my old 360 when it gave me the RRoD). Disappointing that Microsoft went to the trouble to create a “better” 360, and still didn’t get it quite right.

    Worked well for two weeks

Gave 3 star because at first the Xbox worked fine but about two weeks after the first use it started making a loud humming noise and it scratched up My game that was inside of it. Now I can’t play that game any more. It works fine and then when it’s ready it will start humming and I have to rush and turn it off.

Great option if you want a new Xbox 360 with …

Great option if you want a new Xbox 360 with more than 4GB. Don’t even bother with one of those. The system runs much quieter than the old 360 Elite that I had prior. After a while the Red Ring or Death becomes a concern if you want to keep playing your old games, but don’t want to see what games will be backwards compatable with the Xbox One. Having two games come with the console is always a plus, though I’m not the biggest COD fan, the campaigns are at least entertaining.Pros:•Storage capacity means that most games will fit.•Great WiFi, streams Netflix and Hulu faster than the TV will on its own.•Quiet operation and stays cool.Cons:•Shinny plastic case scratches easy.•Disk drive has made some strange noises at times and did make Oblivion glitch on startup once, but no disk scratches. I install games anyway, so not much of an issue.

Great for replacing your old Xbox360 or for your First Xbox360!!

This was probably the best purchase I have made in a while. I previously owned a Xbox360 Slim(white) and was hesitant to purchase this particular box because of the lack of features available on the slim but not on this new box. My biggest concern was the feel and look of the box itself because that’s just me. I actually enjoy that this Xbox is smaller, It’s too bad that Microsoft got rid of the power type button on the Xbox Slim, but overall It didn’t matter much to me since I never actually touch the xbox since my LG Harmony will turn on my xbox and tv for me anyways. Its great that It comes with the 500gb HDD memory, cause I have 32 games now and I’ve used about 257gb of Data already (strictly downloaded games only +add Ons).I have purchased this on Feb. 21st 2015. As of today, I rarely hear the fan on the Xbox which is nice because the fan on my 360 Slim was considerably louder. The Xbox came with Call of Duty: Ghost (Disc Version)The Xbox came with Black Ops: 2 (Download Version)Also, *Basic Headset/Mic, Xbox360 Controller, 500gb HDD, Xbox360I personally would have preferred both to be a download, because I intend *NEVER to use the actual disc drive EVER.I gave Ghost to a friend instead.I would absolutely recommend this purchase if you have the means and need of a great entertainment system. The best part is that Microsoft offers a free game download every week, as well as discounted games. usually between $3.00 to $10.00 depending on the game.

    Bricked!

So this WAS a 5/5 review, until my 360 Bricked itself after its last update. No RROD, it just wipes the memory at random (I think Microsoft did it to force people onto their new platforms, since I had 2 360s do the same thing after the update…..I have no solid proof though, just anecdotes).I’ve had it for 4yrs +/-, and it ran very well for most of that time, lightly used. After the update in December ’19, however it started to unformat the HD and delete all content and profiles at random intervals.Other than the little issue of essentially being an unusable piece of trash now (other than as a DVD player) it is Great. Also Microsoft isn’t helping to fix it, since “COVID” and “old platform.”I think I’m going to PC gaming when they brick my xbox1…..maybe before.

A bit tricky to get started, and updated. Great gaming, but found a fix for DVD with no sound problem! 🙂

When I first got this system, I had some problems, which were eventually resolved. The main issue was the fact that when you played a DVD, you got no sound, if you were using an HDMI cable. At first, and ever since I had this system several years, up until yesterday (as of this writing), I thought it was Microsoft’s problem.Turns out, it was my TV. I only learned, just yesterday, that my TV needed a firmware update to fix the DVD playing with no sound problem. Wish I’d known about that prior to chucking the Xbox into the bin in so many bits after I’d taken my anger out on it, thinking it was the Xbox’ problem.Right. After spending hours rebuilding it, and strapping it back together with gaffer’s tape, and fixing the DVD drawer, after bending some of the inner metal bits back into shape, gluing the plastic bits that came off after the impact, I managed to find, quite by accident, really, the information about flashing my TV to resolve HDMI cable issues with game consoles. I was trying to resolve another issue with my TV.Ok, so here’s the fix for the DVD thing. Just go to your TV’s manufacturer’s web site, and search your model, then download the firmware to a USB flash drive. Next, turn off your TV, and insert the flash drive into the TV’s USB service port. Turn the TV on, and select yes, when asked if you want to install the firmware. Then, if asked to reset, select yes. After the flashing is completed, you’ll turn off the set, remove the USB flash drive, and unplug the TV from the mains for 10 seconds. Then plug it back in, turn it on, and rescan for your channels (if needed). Now, you should be able to disconnect the composite (red, white, yellow) cable, and use the HDMI cable while playing a DVD, and get audio, with no more issues.By the way, although the outside of my Xbox is a bit worse for wear, the bloody thing turns out to be a real trooper. It still works! Even the hard drive still works!I did have some issues with regards to accessing the network in the beginning, and still do, from time to time, but all, in all, it is working. Definitely need to get the updates. They do help.I hope the above tech tip helps others. The included games (one downloadable, the other on disc) are very cool games.

Price on the bundle was great, delivery and communication were very good as well

Our son saved his money over a few months and asked us if we’d make up the rest of the price as his birthday gift this year. I don’t play the games myself but from the whooping and noise coming from the rec room I’m assuming he, my hsuband, and our other son are thoroughly enjoying themselves. Price on the bundle was great, delivery and communication were very good as well. Seems to be money well spent.
