Way more than expected.
Read reviews and was a little skeptical to purchase a refurbished computer. I took a chance and did anyway.very satisfied with my purchase.the packageing was excellent. No damage. All components were packaged with care.start up was simple. I would recommend this purchase to anyone who is needing to upgrade on a budget. Money well spent.

Some reburb issues – comes wiht a 480GB SSD
PC was purchased from seller StallionTek. The delivery was on time, and the PC was well packaged. However, there was a rattle. Opening the case was initially impossible due to the bend latch (see pic), but after wedging it open, I was able to locate the rattling: 2 small screws that got stuck behind the front cover (wonder where they came from…) The latch was straighten with some pliers, and the case now opens closes fine. Not sure if StallionTek is doing the QA or some other low cost place – definitely not encouraging.Specs: Now the claim was a “2018” HP Flagship Pro Desktop which is definitely not the case. A “Windows 7” sticker on the case puts this around 2013. Also the claim of a 512GB is not quite right: It comes with a 480GB SSD. I was expecting both, so not a problem. (There are no 512GB SSDs, usually 480GB or 500GB). The 480GB SSD will yield 447 GiB (Gigibytes) as expected. Now for the better news: The SSD was indeed new with very few cycles (SMART readout), and had a valid Win 10 Pro image (albeit an old one, version 1703). CPU is an actual I5-3470s, and there are 8GB of memory. WiFi was done via USB dongle (11n single stream = 72Mbps max) – works ok. DP port and VGA ports are present. There are also a number of USB 3.0 ports on the back (not on the front however). The PC was relatively clean, so I expect some cleaning was done. There is also room for a 2nd 3.5” HDD, and a vacant SATA port (I added an HDD). Adding a 3D GPU is probably not a good idea since the PSU is pretty weak.Overall, it still good value considering the $60 SSD being added. Note that the warranty is 90-days (not 1 year as in one of the pictures). I’ve got a 3-year extended warranty which is probably a good idea.

Harddisk crashed after 9 months of use.
The product was working pretty well, I was not dissatisfied until 9 months after the purchase the hard disk crashed and I cannot see a way to have this corrected. When I look for support I am directed to HPs website but the was refurbished by SkyTech not HP.If someone can contact me and replace my hard disk I can change my rating but for now I see no way to get any real support for an item I bought only nine months ago.

Description lies…
Well i just opened the box. Highly dissatisfied. I haven’t had the chance to place it in service yet, but aesthetically it looks like curbside garbage. I’m doubtful its 2018 model based off the looks of it. It’s pretty beat up. Faceplate is broken, paint is wore right down to the metal underneath on all corners and left side as it sits flat, and its generally dirty. I’m on the fence as to whether or not I’m returning it. I’m very upset with the seller. I bought from StallionTek. I’ll sleep on it, but it’ll probably be going back because i dont want to look at a cosmetically garbage looking pc in my home office. Grrr. =(Update. The seller agreed to send out a new faceplate. We’ll see how it turns out. I suppose i can clean the pc up and then when i get a chance repaint the cabinet. This is after i place it in service and it has no performance issues. If it does I’ll update this review.

Great Purchase
I needed an extra PC at home when we had an extra person remotely working here during the pandemic in July, so I have had it for about 6 months as I write this review. At the time I decided to give a refurbished PC a shot. I am not sure whether these reviews are solely for the PC I bought, but I bought the refurbished HP Compad Pro 6300 desktop PC with 8 GB RAM and 500 GB SSD Drive.I am totally satisfied with this refurbished PC. Its in like new condition and certainly faster than the Dell desktop with a regular hard drive. I now recommend getting a refurbished PC to friends thinking of replacing an existing PC and definitely going for an SSD drive.

Unacceptable
Not too happy right now at the moment with this product. The shipping was good but when I opened the product, that’s when the good experience ended. I don’t care about the cosmetic look of the PC, what I care about is it’s functionality and expansion capability. The damage that this PC to the rear of it is unacceptable. I can’t, with a good conscience, keep this knowing that I wanted to add PCI cards and a better graphics card to it, and have to deal with a damage PC. I’m returning this PC and getting another sent to me. If everything works out with the new one I will then update my review.

Mixed Feelings
I had high hopes for this HP Small Form Factor PC stating it was a 2018 model and was in “near new” condition. I buy refurbished PCs for offices as these machines are workhorses and they are a great value.Having said that, I expect a scuff or two but this machine had the following:Major scuffs on the front faceplate (see pic)Repainted case with a spray canFortunately the power supply and interior was fully vacuumed (thank you). The value is still very good, core i5 and a good quality SSD with Win10 Pro.I thought maybe I just got a bad one, so I ordered a 2nd machine to see if it was in better condition. Unfortunately it arrived in the same condition as the original, so it was returned. The company needs to be a little more honest about their description. I ordered a replacement faceplate for my customer and it’s already on its way, but it’s a hassle and the experience overall was disappointing. Just be honest about condition is all I ask.

Deluxe Triple Nothing Burger
The headline should say it all. This rig redefines the term “Lackluster”. I didn’t expect a lot from it when you consider the price paid for it, but when it comes to something as simple as virtualization, the CPU being able to run virtual machines, nope. It’s not able to run a virtual machine inside of/with hardware support for an Android OS running in a virtual machine.I’ll be more specific. If you like running an emulator like “NOX” so you can play Android games or use Android apps on your PC… You ain’t going to be able to do that with this rig. That is something I could do on an older system I had with a AMD Athlon 2 CPU from 2006… Seriously that 2006 rig of mine outperforms this “Nancy boy”.If you’re a fan of mediocrity this is the system for you.

Ordered Desktop with 512 GB SSD Drive. Received Desktop with 480 SSD which crashed
Review updated to 3 stars from 1 star. I reported that the 500gb SSD advertised for the device had crashed 6 month after delivery. Well it turned out that it was not the hardware. Windows crashed after a power shutdown by my Electric Utility. It turns out that my surge protector does not protect against that. I did not upgrade above 3 stars because even though Amazon passed on my original report to the vendor, I never got a response from them. Also the 500mg SSD turned out to be 480mg SSD as clearly labeled on the Unit.
