Got the wrong model 2 times but they’re upgraded so I’m not complaining

I think I got a better version than what was advertised, the monitor is was thiner and the monitor was freesync to which was cool and a surprised this is the best 24inch monitor on the market so far

    Does after 2 weeks

Died after 2 weeks. Randomly the bottom half of the screen just started flikering and fading in and out. Possibly just a defected product but it is a gamble so I recommend just spending a little more for a better monitor that more trusted and reliable. There’s a scepter monitor for 120 and same specs just curved if ur interested look it up

    Not Reliable

Worked fine for a couple of months but now it has a black area on the right side. Cheap monitor. Stay away from it. I wasted $100….

    Buyer Beware

I wish zero was an option. Decided to use the “buy again” option, received the monitor, and there was a shocking revelation revealed. The monitor I ordered in 2019 doesn’t match the picture, and the monitor I received today is TOTALLY different. I was taken advantage of in 2019 and didn’t know it until today. I have praised Amazon up to this point, but now I’ll have to consider other options. Was online for over an hour with customer service and they couldn’t even locate the 2019 model they sent me. Ridiculous, and shame on you Amazon!

AMAZING bargain if it’s the price I got it at!

I want to say WOW about this display! I managed to nab one of the last ones in stock when it was uber cheap. I didn’t expect it… I actually thought I would end up with a smaller display with lesser specs… and possibly used or refurbished. The base holds down very well. I was kind of shocked because when I first put it together, I didn’t think it would stay steady on my desk. It is very well designed, though. The screen did lean forward at first when it was first connected to the base, and that could have tipped it over if I let it. However, this is so, SO normal for a 4k monitor! I used to admin hundreds of Dell and Apple 4k displays for work, and they ALL have that problem when you first set them down on the desk. Just expect it to happen, and hold it up while you adjust the screen to tilt back. It DOES adjust, but it is slow to move. We want that because that tension holds the screen where we want it to stay. The screen on this is just HUGE. I didn’t even realize it would be this big! I feel like I’m sitting in front of a small TV. It’s making me think it might be smart to wall mount it so I can put some distance between myself and the display. I have watched several movies on it now from the futon sitting directly across the room without any straining. It’s a sexy display for sure, too. It’s not truly edgeless, but it comes close enough.I always worry about dead pixels during shipping… I think we all do! Thankfully, there’s not even one. It arrived wrapped in Styrofoam inside the box, so this isn’t really surprising. The screen was also covered in plastic film to protect it from scratches. It came with what seems to be a 5 FT HDMI cable, which was surprising but nice. This display pairs SO well with my AMD Ryzen 7 Acer Swift ultrabook! This ultrabook is a MacBook Air clone, and AMD’s graphics utility has a “studio” pixel format setting which mimics the paper-like, soft-matte look that makes Apple popular with many publishers and graphic artists. Bigger than a Thunderbolt display, and definitely cheaper. The speakers are actually better than I expected them to be. They’re still low-end monitor speakers, but at least they get loud… they’re good enough for watching YouTube, but probably not that great for music or movies.Overall, I can’t believe I got a monitor this good for less than $100. I shouldn’t be surprised to see complaints here after over a decade on Amazon, but yes… it still surprises me to see them over something like this.

    Sceptre 24″ LED E248W-19203RS

Sceptre 24″ LED E248W-19203RSPros:–Price and features–so far, pretty impressed but I still prefer IPS panels. Had to make quick purchase to replace dead monitor–Display is “edgeless,” thin and lightweight; pic in seller’s ad is old, these must be updatedversions for same model number. I wanted an edgeless display–Glad this monitor is AMD Radeon FreeSync compatible–you have to enable the feature in the monitor setup menu–The included blue light shift filter is welcome considering negative press about sleep disturbances–you have to enable the feature in the monitor setup menu–This display does not require installation of additional drivers or software–Includes one 5′ HDMI cable–Easy assembly–remove from box, attach base, plug-in and play and has a regular power cord without the ugly adapter “brick”–I would buy this product again and recommend it to friendsCons:–Did have to perform minor display re-calibration, it was too green during boot-up–Built-in speakers was not a deciding feature for me, these are OK for typical computer generated notification sounds, but you shouldn’t expect them to perform well with music or movie soundtracks. It would not be appropriate for any buyer to deduct stars for this feature–you know in advance.–Sellers need to update product images in their ads, glad mine resembles product I viewed at Sceptre web siteOther thoughts:–Save original box, manual says it is required if unit is returned for replacement or warrantyservice.–Sceptre dead pixel policy for product to be considered defective, per user manual page 30: “3 dead pixels in a cluster adjacent to each other, or 5 dead pixels in a combination of color and brightness.”

Entry Level to Moderate Gaming Monitor (Great bang for your Money)

I just received 2 of the E248W-19203RS monitors. I have a family History with Sceptre monitor, as my wife has been running a matching twin set of E248W-19203RS (2017) for 3 years, and she loves them. As a graphic designer in the Adobe CS programs, she doe not have a problem with color correction. As for me and my usage, in 3D modeling and Gaming, these monitor has surpassed my expectations for the cost. While a 5 milliseconds TN panel is not a gaming panel by standard of today, In a game like World of Warcraft, it is more that adequate. Color depth and brightness is great for a 2 window room. Also the slim bevel, while sitting side by side all most make it seem like a Ultrawide experience. (I was going to get and LG 29UM59-A), I decided on these as a need for screen real estate out weight the need for a signal ultrawide. 42 inches compared to 29 inches, and $40.00 and change cheaper…As of right now, no issue with the monitor, no light bleeding when on dark background, crisp image over all.On Screen Diagnostic/ Display Menu (OSD)The thing I do not like… the OSD menu and controls are in a bad spot. So If you mount these on a control arm, you will have issue adjust the left monitor. You will need to configure it before hanging.
