Honestly the best keyboard I’ve ever used
I truly love this keyboard. I used to play games on my laptop all the time but I graduated college and bought myself a tower. Needed a keyboard and a friend of mine suggested Steel Series. I’d already gotten my headset from them so I gave the keyboard a shot and it was the best thing I could have done.Keys feel great to press. Doesn’t require much force to hit a key but you don’t get accidental key presses either. Not stupidly loud like mechanical keyboards, either, but just enough of a pop to let you know your press registered without being annoying to listen to.Truly do recommend.

Solid budget board
First off, im not a fan of switches (bring the flame). This keyboard does an excellent job of making the membrane feel a lot more.. tactical, for lack of a better word. Profile is a bit high, a wrist rest is recommended. Ive had the board for a couple years now and quality has been good, its taken a pounding a time or two. Weighs enough that it doesnt slide around your desk. While the letters have lasted much longer than most oem boards, im a little dissapointed that my wasd keys are gone. When new the buttons have a really nice texture, but it quickly wears off leaving them slick feeling. Overall I give it an 8/10 considering the price.

Works great, pretty
Works great, pretty, just doesnt sit flat. If you use the left side of the keyboard and have your right hand off the board it rocks a little. Had to place something underneath the corner. Keys are pretty quiet and backlight can be adjusted brighter/dimmer. Love it otherwise. Keep in mind yoy may have to habe the steelseries driver.

Great board for typing and moderate gaming
Purchased when on sale so even happier with it.I bought this to replace a mechanical keyboard that was annoying others in the house / work environment due to noise. I am pleased to say that overall the keyboard’s performance is at least good if not great. For every day use as in typing and working on the computer find it to be accurate and comfortable. When I switch to game mode find it responsive and comfortable. For mainly plastic construction the build quality is good. Mind you it is still early days so time will tell but nothing up to now has led me to believe it will not last for the long term.I can see myself purchasing other SteelSeries products in the future.

Awesome
I like the back light, but the letters themselves are not lit. At night, I can barely see the keyboard. Otherwise, this keyboard is perfect and has put out a few months of steady gaming service at this point. There is no input lag as far as I can tell.It was immediately detected by both computers that used it, so no usb driver problems. Also, Steelseries Engine 3 will detect this keyboard, giving you a few more options. You can change the back light intensity, I like mine turned down because blue light blinds you at night. You can change the polling rate. You can also record and bind macros to any key, which is neat if you’re into RPGs.Basically, this keyboard is just fine, and if you spend even a dollar more on one, you’re being extravagant.

I just love the way it feels to type on it
I’ve been using this over my Cherry MX keeb for almost a year now. I don’t know what it is about this keyboard, I just love the way it feels to type on it. I love the way it sounds and the sturdiness of it. I never have the backlights on so I don’t care that it only lights up in blue (I know that matters to some people, but not to me).I’m super happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new keyboard that feels super satisfying to type on.

Hard to see keys
Hard to read key characters. Keys do not light up, so the backlighting between the keys only makes it harder to see the keys. Pretty good feel to keyboard though.

Fantastic in all aspects
Great budget keyboard. I used to played with a mechanical keyboard for years but those were way too loud so I went with this and I am so glad I did. The keys don’t have a clicky sound but they feel good to press and the blue LEDs are great. The LEDs on full blast are blinding and very bright so I run them on the lowest setting. It comes with steelseries software to customize key binds and much more. Overall, great keyboard for an even more fantastic price!

Deafeningly loud
I purchased this keyboard for one reason — for a whisper-quiet keyboard that I could take notes during video meetings without disturbing the meeting itself. Unfortunately, my definition of “whisper quiet” is NOT the same as whoever wrote the ad copy for this keyboard. I mean, it could be louder — a nice, old-fashioned mechanical typewriter would be louder. But “whisper”? No.It’s got a bit of a mechanical feel, I’d judge it as responding like blue switches, tactile and clicky. Since that’s the opposite of what I want, back this goes.

One drink and dead. NOT “Splash Resistant”
I bought two of these, one for my wife and one for me. Great keyboards but mine is still working and my wife’s is dead. My wife accidentally spilled a “splash” of a drink into the keyboard and now it’s toast. She likes to have a drink while playing games, I thought this was the perfect keyboard for her. I do not think this should be advertised as “Splash Resistant” because they simply aren’t.
