Amazing Game, Awful Controls …could have been amazing
This game had such incredible potential when it came to console. The graphics are amazing, load times are relatively short and just from the get go , you can tell there are tons of things to do and explore.There is much when it comes to making your sim and building your house and it’s pretty simple to do.Now…this game could have been a perfect Sim title for the Xbox one, however the developers never seemed to bother streamlining the control FOR a console. Guiding the cursors and controlling what menu goes where is incredibly frustrating to the point where you can only enjoy this game in small bursts, and if you’ve played a Sims game, there are NO small bursts in these kinds of games. You turn it on and get ready for a few hours (easily) of gameplay, but the controls kill that experience.You spend so much time pressing the B button and looking for a cursor that flies past your screen at the speed of light and then pressing triggers over and over again that you lose it.There’s a very steep learning curve to mastering the cursor that you even wonder if it’s even worth the frustration and high blood pressure in managing your creations.All in all, there’s a great title with a ton of awesome content to enjoy, but you’re held back by the darn cursor and awful control.If that’s something fixed, you have a grade A title here.

It was not fun at all and what made it worse was I literally played it for like a few minutes and there are no scratches or anything when I try to return it they refuse to give me my refund so please do not waste your money on this game

Sims games are better when played on PC, in my opinion.
I’ve played sims on pc before, but my son and I wanted to get this to play together on the xbox.Controls are clunky, very hard to just relax and play. I would not get sims on the xbox again, I think it’s better as a PC game.

Would recommend PC version
I am in LOVE with the Sims franchise so this game was a must have for me. It does play like it would on PC and that can throw console players for a loop. Especially if they haven’t gamed on PCs before. But I have played the Sims 4 on both PC and console. I would recommend the PC version for the gamer. The controls are smoother and I just think it’s easier to play with ad-ons on the PC version. I had to do a lot of work to get the ad-ons to play on the console version. But it’s still a great game and I enjoy playing on both systems.
