it does the thing a screen do
i bought a psp3000 cheap and untested which upon testing turned out to have a damaged screensearched for screens, this one was recommended to me so i bought itwent through the effort to replace the screen, powered the system up, and it displays… the image looks no different than the psp3000s i’ve seen with intact factory screens but i will mention one little thing… the original screen had some foam material around the edge (i’m assuming to keep light leaks from happening around the screen) which is not found on the replacementit’s an easy job and the screen works

Close to perfect.
Came packaged very carefully and nicely. No scratches or damage whatsoever.Installation was easy, screen came with all the components it needed to make it connect and work properly.Only downside is, the screen has numerous dead pixels scattered throughout. Not a huge deal, barely noticeable during gameplay but at the end of the day it still isn’t in 100% working order.

Its really easy to replace if you watch any youtube tutorial, and its perfect for cracked lcd or dead pixels screen replacements. Its listed at a reasonable price and very well secured in foam cushioning inside box an packaging. You do have to be VERY careful not to yank the orange ribbons or else it will render the screen useless, but for the most part its perfect if you want to restore your psp3xxx back to its playable condition. it does not include the gray cushion adhesives that act as a buffer between the lcd frame and the exterior shell, and it also does not include the metal beam with the pin that is attached to the top side of the lcd frame, so if you still have the original oem lcd, simply remove the metal beam an use shoe-goo to adhere it to the top of this lcd frame. Be careful not to stain the pixel area with any glue though. As for the edge cushions, find any soft rubbery-foamy tape with a 1mm thickness, and cut it to the length of each side to about a width of about 2-3mm. Long story short, try to mimic the figure of the original oem lcd assembly. Overall though, it is definitely worth investing on this screen if you really want the nostalgic feel of a restored psp for gameplay.

High quality screen. Received an opened returned screen but paid for a new one.
These screens are pretty amazing. They fit perfectly and look better than the original sony screen. To be clear, this is a five star product. I am rating it 3 stars because I received a unit that had clearly already been opened.I’ve purchased a few of them recently because I’ve begun to repair/sell PSP consoles as a hobby and to support my gaming habit. All of the other screens have come with some kind of film on them to protect them from dust and damage. The one I just received had no such film. Instead it had fingerprints and streaks on it where someone had wiped it off. I inspected it closely for scratches and there weren’t any, so I cleaned it up and installed it. No problems.Definitely not satisfied with the condition I received it in though.

Dead pixel but otherwise works fine.
Came well packaged and fit my PSP without any problems. Had a dead pixel in the middle of the screen on the first startup and reinstalling the ribbon cable didn’t fix the issue. Other than the broken pixel it works fine so I’m keeping it.

sadly came broken.
Was really hyped about finally fixing and playing my psp after more then a year with a broken screen. then I get the screen from here. Install it. and there is a major crack in the lower left side and the screen displays nothing except that crack.would love to give them a second chance. but till then, my rating remains.

Didn’t last long but very nice when it worked
First i should say the screen looked great, brighter then my 1000 model screen on my other psp and colors look amazing, but i went to play it this morning after replacing the screen earlier this week and there is a line across the top now, just 1, worked and look great after i installed it and played it for hours, today that showed up, now, i havent put it in my pocket or taken it anywhere, its just been sitting on my desk or the coffee table, so unsure how this happened, seems like i got a dead pixel screen, ill have to replace this units screen again ( i put this in a 3001 unit i had laying around that had a bad screen in it)regardless, ill see if i can return this for a replacement.

Easy and direct replacement for PSP 3001
The overall quality of this screen is excellent. I have only had it for a month, but so far I have had zero issues. Lowest price around.The install was quick and simple. This screen does not come with the foam padding around the screen but I was able to reuse the padding from the original screen. I used a razor blade and carefully scraped the old padding off. Most of the adhesive remained and I was able to transfer to the new screen.

So I got the item in great looking condition however this is a lcd where you absolutely cannot let anything even a hair fall or touch it, or else it will ruin the screen entirely. I’m not sure if it was perhaps my fault or if someone else touched it in wherever its from. But I have experience at changing lcds for for my iPhone and other handheld consoles. I would recommend wearing gloves when handling this always and a very clean place to make the change. I can’t ask for a refund or replacement since it’s too late and that I only just installed the lcd Saturday since I didn’t have the smallest screws screwdriver for the psp
