Great but the software would not work

keyboard feels high quality. my only gripe is that when typing the keys makes a hollow metallic sound (like an echo when typing)…would be five stars, but the software would not workwould be 5 stars had the software worked upon purchase.sorry about the video being upside down.

Almost Great
It’s a great keyboard with fantastic lighting effects. Probably the best/smoothest lighting effects on any keyboard in it’s price range. the mechanical switches feel great, better than cherry blues in my personal opinion. However I noticed on my particular model, the lighting cuts out every 1-2 min and that’s not a big deal in it self but the big problem is that this also causes the keys/switches to not register. So you could be in the middle of typing a message or playing a game and your “W” key or any other key for that matter will not register. Which can be frustrating in online games. I might try to do an exchange with Amazon because I really like this keyboard and don’t want to stop using it because it’s defective.

Noisy but outstanding performance and feel
As so many others have pointed out, this is an incredibly noisy keyboard…louder than any other I have ever used. I actually do have to shut the door when I am using it so as not to disturb other folks. There is no such thing as a stealth email in the middle of the night. However, it is also an exceptionally smooth operating keyboard and I’ve found my productivity and accuracy have improved dramatically. For flying through first drafts and capturing thoughts as quickly and effortlessly as possible, this keyboard is outstanding. The keyboard does not slow down the creative process. The full size, the dedicated number pad, the clear indications of cap locks and number locks, all make for a great keyboard and a great value. If they could do something about the noise this would be the dream keyboard.

Solid and responsive

Very solid and typical mechanic keyboard. Keys are super responsive and noisy, which is what I like, and the clicking sounds and rgb lighting effects make me so satisfy on playing. Can’t go wrong with Amazon brand, solid one!

Potential RGB setting issues with keyboard
Got this keyboard today and like a couple of other users had mentioned I would have a flicker of the keyboard lights. While I immediately wanted to pack it back up and send it back I decided to try tinkering with to see if there was a possible workaround. I primarily notice the issue with R0/G255/B255 I tried R0/G0/B255 and also noticed the issue. I tried playing with other colors and didn’t immediately notice the issue. so given I am trying to match my rgb build I am wanting light blue. I changed my settings to R0/G255/B250 and the keyboard seems to be experiencing little to no flickering. I am going to give it a week then if it starts occurring again I will ship the keyboard back. It is likely a software issue and hopefully Amazon reads this and passes it on for a software update. I really like this keyboard so hoping that it gets fixed.

First one died in two months, checking out replacement
Updated review May 2020: the replacement keyboard has so far lasted longer than the first keyboard, however the software constantly bugs and is not very intuitive. Every other use of the keyboard in a game causes the software to default to some other preset profile and it hangs, requiring you to End Task in the Task Manager.I suppose that Amazon has decided that they don’t want to be in this business, which is bizarre as it seems they want to take over everything in the world. No apparent update on the software and no easy way to get it. This item should be managed through digital downloads but it isn’t. There are things I like about the keyboard, but the software issues make this, and likely any future Amazon Gaming hardware, an extremely unlikely purchase. An Amazon failure IMO. Dropping my rating to one star.Prior review:After having quality issues with other gaming keyboards I decided to try Amazon’s foray into gaming devices. I was generally pleased with the keyboard until it died, less than two months after purchase. I contacted Amazon and to their credit they promptly ordered a replacement. I’ve dropped a star rating for the dead keyboard but may update my review if the new one lasts.

Good for the price
Mixed feelings on this keyboard. It’s grown on me over time. I have other keyboards with numerous lighting effects and such, but I usually end up going back to a single static color, or alternating rows.Backlighting on this keyboard is easily the best of the bunch I’ve tried. Bright, crisp colors, even in bright environments. You’re able to get a true white out of this keyboard, rather than the pinkish/bluish mess other keyboards can do. Not only that, you can even get a warm white or daylight white if you want by dialing it in on the software. Looks very classy with all white going on it, especially a warm white.Pros:Vibrant colors. No muted/pastel colors here…unless you’ve specifically chosen those in the software.BRIGHT backlight. This keyboard’s mid-range setting is brighter than many other keyboard’s brightest. Can produce true white backlights. I have both a cool white and warm white (incandescent) programmed into mineEvery key can be a different color.Feels sturdyKeys are very clickyKeycaps have a good feel/shape to them.Cons:Only 5 preset slots on the keyboard itself.Only 3 brightness levels.Color patterns must be programmed via Windows softwareNo on-keyboard color patterns, just able to rotate through the 5 presets.Metallic rebound sound when typingNeutral:Heavy — may be a pro or con based on your preference.Attached palm rest

My son is thrilled with this cool keyboard
This is a really nice and high quality keyboard, less expensive than the brand name keyboards but seems to be just as good. My son uses this for pc gaming and loves the key clicks and the amazing array of colors. He also loves how he can program each key to his liking. The key clicks may be a little louder than some like as other reviews have stated but in our living room, it really doesn’t bother me. It seems to be built rugged and I am hoping it will last many years with constant use unlike the cheap keyboard that came with his pc that lasted less than one year before it died.

Too loud
I love this keyboard, the different settings you can do with the color lighting is simply awesome, customizing even the color of every single key on the board if you want. However, despite that cool feature, I have to say, the clicking this keyboard emits, are VERY loud. If it weren’t for the noise level of this keyboard, I would actually be giving this keyboard a 5. But the noise to me is a VERY important issue. People need to sleep while I’m working sometimes. This is by far the loudest keyboard I’ve ever heard, and I really do not like it. Even if you want to be quiet with this thing, you can’t. Amazon, you guys really need to work on this please. As for the key presentation, having the dual character keys, (ie 1 and !, 2 and @, 3 and #…) are the same size as the numbers themselves. Not sure if a fan of the font they used, plus how they are somewhat squished together. But despite all that ,I’m sticking with the keyboard. I have mixed emotions when I use it. I like it more than it annoys me. But there are some days… you know how that goes.

Great price, great RGB, good feel.
This is a pretty good keyboard for the price, similar in design to some of corsairs gaming keyboard, the switches feel pretty good and the RGB is individually programmable something many Corsair keyboards of the same price range lacks. The included software is a little clunky but more than usable. So far my only complaint is you can’t program the RGB on the “lock” keys, they all default to the rainbow pattern whenever they are toggled on, and simply turn off when toggled off, though I’m sure this can be fixed with a software update in the future.EDIT:Update a few months later, I’ve only run into one issue with this keyboard so far, the spacebar doesn’t attach very well which will cause it to pop off constantly if you don’t press it directly in the center. Because of that I’ve lowered my rating to 3 stars instead of 4. Overall it’s still a very nice keyboard though.
