Great monitor perfect for the use I have intended.
Great quality and color, has multiple color resolution settings including a true standard rgb display which I like because I’m using this one for digital graphics design. Super easy to set up, no tools needed, the base has an attacked screw with handle. If you make this your first screen in an extended set up while using an hdmi it will divert the audio to the monitors audio Jack requiring a speaker.

I Love it! (Pictures included)Purchased on 5/31, Arrived 6/09. (9 Days) was free shipping over $49.-Box arrived undamaged.Upon opening the box, it had all components. Nicely individually wrapped. It included-Stand-Monitor-Power cable-DVI cable-VGA cable-ASUS VIP Member Notice-Quick Start Guide.After taking everything out of the box it was EXTREMELY easy to assemble. I can’t stress that enough, a 12 year old could figure it out. The cords had caps on them to prevent dust and bending of the pins but again were simple to take off.On the back of the monitor, it had-HDMI port-DVI port-VGA port-3.5mm audio port. (Needs input from HDMI cable)After putting it all together, the final product was beautiful.-It worked perfectly!-There were no dead pixels.-The colors were vibrant.-The images and letters were sharp.-The picture is just amazing.-The quality is outstanding.It was just perfect. I LOVE this product and I’m 100% completely satisfied with my purchase. I did not receive a discount for my review either.I would DEFINITELY recommend.UPDATE: It’s been a month since I purchased it and still had no problems with it.

IF YOU NOTICE DISCOLORATION WITH A NVIDIA GPU AND HDMI SIGNAL: READ THIS!
Go to your NVIDIA control panel, and click on “Change resolution” under Display. Scroll down, click on “Output dynamic range” and set it to full. I’ve included a picture for help with this. It should fixed colors that look washed out, without having to modify any color settings. If you already made some, I suggest you factory reset your monitor (in the menus) as it will look strange after doing this. Other than that problem, this monitor looks great! Also, you shouldn’t have to worry if you’re using DVI.

Pros: Many ways to connect. Audio out makes for handy port for connecting speakersCons: Almost impossible to calibrate.All in all, these help me get the job done..most work involves textUpdate 8/12/17Metal retaining clip for pedestal stand came loose and is rolling around inside the display (rendering it unsafe to put power to) Asus support will not provide a remedy for this issue, so will try to see if Amazon can help..

After 5 years It failed
This Asus monitor worked fine until last week. After five years of use a horizontal line appears in middle of screen.Only 3000 hours of use. The guarantee has finished, only lasts 3 years. I think the repair will cost a lot of money.

Bought the product on amazon in dec 2013, but died on me today, nov 2018. When I plug into the wall, there’s no power most of the time, and when there is power, it stays on only for a few moments and none of the buttons work. I tried connecting to different wall outlets, disconnected and reconnected, but I’ve come to the conclusion after 5 years of gentle care, that it’s come to the end of its life.Unfortunately, this monitor did not stand the test of time, for whatever the reason that I couldn’t determine.

Great Monitor with an annoying drawback….
I am the type of shopper that looks at a product several times before purchasing. Reviews tend to have a strong impact on whether or not I buy a specific product or move on. Well, as I was shopping for a monitor I came across several ASUS monitors that fit the budget and did what I wanted them to do. This particular monitor’s specs were great. The information on this one was a lot less specific than on the larger model (23inch?) which was the same model just a little bit bigger so that was helpful if you’re looking for more specs.Overall, for the money it was well worth it. I picked this monitor up for $129.99 with free shipping. The screen size is just right for me. Not too big, but big enough. The contrast is great. It is very, very bright which looks great. It comes with a VGA cable which doesn’t look as great as it would with an HDMI cable. Side note- I picked one up from Amazon for about $10 from Megabridge (highly recommend it if you want to get the most out of your monitor.)The LED screen makes the picture look crisp and is great to view HD movies through Netflix, play games, or view some 3D videos.CONS-On the downside I want to complaint about two things:1.) As you may have read in other reviews of this monitor, many complaint about the stability of the monitor as far as the “wobbling.” Well… it is true it does wobble. If you have a heavy desk that you could kick and wouldn’t move then you probably wont have this problem. As shown in the picture I put up with my ASUS laptop and this monitor, I have a small wood desk which easily moves. The screen wobbles even just by typping in a normal way. Which is definitely annoying.2.) Amazon took a little bit longer to ship than I would have liked. It did however come very well packed.Overall- It is a great purchase. At its price you simply wont get anything close to this. With ASUS I feel confident that I am getting a superb product from previous experiences at a great price. It’s not perfect, but its 4 and a half stars.

perfect second monitor for your iMac
I bought a pair of these to use with my 21.5″ 2012 iMac, which Apple in their infinite wisdom, opted not to make matching lightning display for. These are a near perfect match in terms of color, pixel density, resolution and size.

Got this as a second monitor for school/gaming. It works perfectly! I did have to order a VGA-Display cable as it didn’t come with one but it was still well worth it! Highly recommend!

Pretty good but not top of the line
I purchased these to update two older, smaller monitors and at the same time uncluttered my desk with a dual-monitor mount. I work from home and frequently view multiple files, spreadsheets, blueprints, etc. and could never go back to a single or smaller monitor again. I find the 24″ are a good balance and not too large, especially if you are sitting at a desk in front of them. Quality and sharpness are adequate. These fall somewhere in-between no-name budget brands and top of the line versions. As many others have said, the adjustment menu is clunky to navigate and use, but you usually don’t have to configure them too frequently. I wish manufacturers would include a guide on what each setting means without me having to look things up online. Did I say I hate the on-screen settings menu? Other than that, they were priced fairly and I’m satisfied with their quality. FYI they have 100 mm VESA mounting screws. I’d recommend them for basic use such as mine. I attached a picture simply showing my setup. I didn’t bother with a picture of them working because a picture of a monitor is useless for indicating image quality.NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller.
