Good, Affordable Gaming Headset
The sound from the speakers are good, and is comparable to the other $40 headsets. The microphone can not be detached but can be slid up or down. The mic is made out of a hard, durable plastic. The build of the headset feels durable, too. I have found the headphones are a bit tough to adjust but may loosen overtime. The overall feel of wearing the headset is good but does feel a little uncomfortable at times. The padding does the job but feels like it’s poking me rather than settling on my head. Overall it’s a good, affordable gaming headset that plugs in and goes to work. For me, I am unsure about the set as it sounds fine, and is built well, but does get uncomfortable to wear after a while.

they are headphones that work well no sound blocking or anything crazy like works well people can hear me just fine so that is good. i suggest these over others cause it was super easy just plug and play no issue if you do have one im sure you can find something on the internet to help you

Excellent product quality and performance.
Likes: Plug and Play USB, overall Headphone comfort and audio quality, long connection cord with adjustable features. Very nice! I am not a gamer but I do use the Mantis for online video conferences.Dislikes: Fixed position of mic boom in front of my mouth is way too far away (5 inches) for the way I use mics professionally. Even with mic level adjustments it causes me to have to talk a bit too loud in order to get proper audio level in online video conferences without it picking up room background noise and conversations. KLIM should make the mic boom adjustable for closer talking.The downloadable feature adjustment software does not work very effectively. The EQing feature has limited effect.Overall, despite my above cons, this product is great buy. I think you will be very happy with this headset if you are a gamer.

Surprising sound quality at this price
First the only thing i dislike about them, the ear coverings are just a touch too small for my ears.Now that’s out of the way, the sound quality is.. just wow. Used them in a game and i was hearing footsteps from 50+ ft away up to 100 at one point. nothing could sneak up.The ambient made the environment rich and alive just like the expensive headphones do, fully mobile as well, a moving object was moving across with some of the cleanest surround function I’ve heard in years.I put in some classical music and i could hear individual instruments. Not kidding.And finally I plugged them in and used them immediately. Within 1 minute of opening the box! Mic is clean and clear too.For the price? WORTH. no question will buy again after i stupidly run them over with my chair.

Comfortable, long cord, loud sound, faint microphone, reasonable price.
I’ve used this headset for several extended rounds of DRG and a couple recording sessions now. The cushions around my ears were still comfortable, and the head-rest did not concentrate pressure anywhere. On comfort alone, the price is worthwhile. Also of note is the nine-foot cord. This is important to me, as I use them from my recliner, with my computer plugged into my TV.The microphone is vanishingly quiet and I’ve had to ramp up the gain to perilous levels in order to be heard. My friends have observed in voice chat, however, the sound quality is quite clear, so that’s a plus. On a related vein, the mic is disabled by an electronic button which resets itself occasionally. I’m not super stoked that I can’t cut power to the mic altogether.Earphones themselves are SUPER LOUD. I have the volume down to 3/100, and it’s still abusively loud on occasion. I would’ve preferred an analog option to adjust the earphone part, aside from the Windows software.Still an acceptable replacement for my venerable Turtle Beach Pla headset that basically disintegrated after quite a few years of solid use.Overall, the headset is a 6.5/10. I have some gripes, but for the price, I’m content with what I’ve gotten.

BUYER BEWARE – REFURBISHED ITEMS
I’m unhappy that I received a refurbished item from this listing, which did not indicate in any obvious way that the item was refurbished.So far, nothing obvious wrong with it. Yet.I wore it for a couple of hours and it was pretty comfortable, even with glasses.Cord is very long, fabric-wrapped and sturdy, and comes with a sturdy permanent cord-wrapper-thing, which is nice.

crazly loud
I have to turn the volume down to 2 out of 100, along with minimizing volume on my video player/streaming setting, but half the time it’s still too loud to bear. Tried on another laptop, same problem. I paid good money for this item and am supposed to enjoy it, not supposed to come up with any solutions to fix it myself. This is not satisfactory!

impressive sound quality and mic
I was honestly super surprised with how good the audio is on this headset. For this price range, you wouldn’t expect the sound quality to be this good. Its very clear and vivid and the bass works very well. I played counter-strike with them and the audio quality is on par with my $200~ headphones. I asked everybody in the server how the mic sounded and they said it was very clear and had no issues at all. This headset blow any competitor’s product, in this price range, out of the water. They are comparable to headsets in the $100-130~ range. I highly recommend this headset.
