The game has so many glitches and connection issues that have nothing to do with my internet. I will try to list a majority of them.The turf graphics 30% of the time will not load and I mean all the turf graphics ( no out of bounds markings, end zone, yard lines )Unable to receive invitesThe frame rate is horrible even in offline gamesPlaying with friends is a nightmare ( in superstar ko and muy squads all of my friends at some point get kicked out and we can’t even play a full game)And overall I don’t enjoy some of the new updates (reach for end zone, celebrations, diving, defensive adjustments)Ea is lazy

It’s an absolute buggy mess. Games with no lines on the field (yard markers, out of bounds, end zones line of scrimmage, line to the make… EVERYTHING). Practices with no color (literally everything is WHITE EXCEPT the sky). Constant jitter and tearing of graphics. Missing audio. This is on an XBox One X, so I can’t imagine on normal XBox.And the FoF mode story makes as much sense as a drunken inner monologue playing Madden on Genesis at 2 AM with my roommates.Hopefully they fix the other modes. If you’re getting it for FoF, just skip it.

Same game as last year, Non-realistic gameplay, unbalanced plays, little to no gameplay improvement. Same animations as Madden 17 through 20, no effort from the developer’s side. I have to imagine the R&D for each years madden is minuscule compared to profits. All they do is change uniforms, rosters, and GUI, and add a half-baked game mode idea while leaving the gameplay to remain as terrible as last year. Not worth the $60, if you want a sports video game that you’ll enjoy, buy 2k21.

If I could give it zero stars I would. It’s almost like they took Madden 19, not even Madden 20 and just updated the rosters. The gameplay is worse than last year and you can’t even begin playing until you create some stupid create a player that won’t even let you use 50%of actual last names due the EA censors claiming them to be profanity! Don’t waste your money.

I wanna give this game the benefit of the doubt. But it’s tough and I hope they update some of the franchise mode/exhibition modes in the next few patches, but this one is hard to like.I’ve always been a Madden fan since as early as 2001 and 2005. I played 20 for a bit and remember playing 2005 for hours and hours. Unfortunately, with the release of MUT in 2010 EA has decided to focus on micro transaction game modes-and to beat them to a bloody pulp while monopolizing the football simulation game market. More microtrasactions, more fake game modes to distract you from a lack of franchise mode, and more lies and fan neglect.Im not kidding…If you have a moment look up the news story related to #fixfranchisemode. There’s a whole social movement media against it. As for frachise mode they literally haven’t done anything with it since 17 and who knows if a game like 2005 will ever exist again. As consumers we support this jerky company by buying their game and microtransactions.Otherwise, it’s okay for the updated roster and graphics, but I don’t intend to spend anymore of my hard earned money and time and effort on this hot pile of garbage like I’ve done in the past. It gets old after a while and this company has no intention to want to try and improve creatively.6/10- don’t recommend at all

This game is terrible. It’s filled with glitches that make it extremely frustrating and sometimes unplayable. For example, during kicking the meter will randomly freeze, causing you to shank punts or kicks. The Franchise mode is (I’m not kidding) exactly the same as last year. I’m so disappointed in this game. Save your money and play last year’s version.

I am the simplest person when it comes to Madden. I literally won’t even lie, I just play arcade mostly and rarely go online. I’ve had this for a day and I’ve never been so pissed off in my life. I only got it to represent Lamar but I’m returning asap. It’s lags consistently. It turned off like five times when I try to start franchise. The Face of Franchise doesn’t have sound anymore. I hate this game and that’s coming from someone who has never gotten rid of any of his games over a 15 year period.
