This keyboard is a PS/2 keyboard with a PS2 to USB converter built in. It looks like a USB-only keyboard, but it shows up as a PS/2+USB device instead of a USB HID device.Hitting control, control, number, enter simply does not work. I can type okay, but it simply will not work with a KVM since it does not send keystroke information the same way as a pure-USB keyboard.The keyboard itself is a membrane style. It has high resistance to start, and a rapid, quiet bottom-out. The key shaft is designed such that the keys have a very stable feel, and good travel. It “feels” like a decent quality mechanical keyboard on initial use. It FEELS like a hard, silent click. Impressive for a membrane keyboard. It’s not quite the same, but it’s good enough.The backlight can be red-only, or it can fade/cycle through red, green, amber. You cannot set it to just stay green nor just amber. No adjustment of the timing for the cycle. The steps for the backlight brightness are good, allowing you to zero in on the brightness you want. It’s not super bright, so default won’t blind you in a dark room. It’s very readable in normal office light too.The price of this is amazing for how it feels, but you could never use this in a full-on datacenter due to lack of proper HID signalling. It’s fine for a normal desk though.

Good value. Color selection does reset on power loss though.
Price is very good. Only downside is that the colors reset every time it looses power, which means anytime the computer goes to sleep. So while I would prefer it be orange, it is instead the default red since there is no use changing the color. I did end up removing the caps lock key. I hit it too often while reaching for tab and I never use the caps lock key anyways. Your finger results may vary. Other than that, typing is fine. I just wanted a cheap keyboard I could see in the dark and wasn’t blue or white (too bright!)

A good cheap LED keyboard
I wanted an LED color keyboard. I didn’t want to spend much. So I read the other reviews. I got it in one day. I have used it for one day. It is a good keyboard. It took a little bit of getting used to since I had a flat one (like a laptop) for many years. For being inexpensive it has all the things I want such as function keys which some of these don’t have. I didn’t like the rainbow-colored ones. I’m not a gamer but it seems to be set up for an inexpensive gaming keyboard. It is inexpensive so you could play with it for a few million clicks (specifications say life is 5 million clicks) then get a better one. It is not a mechanical keyboard, it has membranes. It is not silent, just a mild clicking. It is everything I wanted, for now. I don’t see how you can go wrong for this price, in fact I was surprised to find one at this price.I like the warranty of one year plus you get the Amazon return policy. I never can understand all the grumbling about receiving something from Amazon that is somehow not acceptable to someone. If you want the best of something just buy it, or send it back! I guess this makes too much sense. The company says they will help with any problems.

Exceptional Value
Excellent value. Adjustable brightness and 3 colors. Full size keyboard without the annoying extra plastic frame. Cannot speak to durability as it is only been a few days, but could not be happier with the product. (Except I would have preferred blue instead of yellow as the 3rd color option but the colors are clearly listed so I knew that going into the purchase.)

I’ve had high end LED lit keyboards I could not see the letters on, no matter how brightly lit they were. I’m legally blind, and can actually find the odd keys I need to find, easily.The keyboard is nice, and quiet, for the most part, which is great for streamers. Not as much click-ity-clack of keys in the mic. LOL.The keys have a soft feel. Not the hard contact of cherry switch based keyboards, though.It is all plastic, and fairly narrow, which leaves a bit more room on the desk.My only complaint is the keys are a little closer together than I’d like. I keep hitting the back slash key, when I’m trying to hit the enter key. I do wish manufacturers would go back to the classic spacing of keys we had, back in the 80s, and early 90s.At least there is enough height variation between rows to feel more like a keyboard should. I can’t stand a laptop style keyboard. could stand a wee bit more height, like on older keyboards, though, as well as spacing.Would’ve been ice if other colours were included, like blue, purple, amber, ect. But it’s not bad, for the price.

I can see the keys at night!
I bought this one to replace a slightly more expensive keyboard. With my old one, the keys would not relight after a reboot, the light was dim and I had a hard time to see the symbols over the numbers.This keyboard is bright enough for my old eyes, relights after a reboot and is easy to adjust the color, green, red, yellow or off. I would prefer a blue option to match but green works just fine.

Illuminates fine in the dark.
While the keyboard won’t light-up a lit room, it does what I need it to do–illuminate the keys in the dark.My keyboard doesn’t have any dead spots without light, and I find that its illumination is plenty good in the dark, even running dual-monitors.I do wish that there was less “under-key-lighting” (black plastic under the keys would be great for me), but if you like extra-illumination, it’ll do you fine.My only frustration is that the color-change key is at the bottom (Between FN and CTRL), so I find myself accidentally resting against it on occasion. I wish it was up at the top between the ESC and F1, or something. But when I do tap it, and the keyboard changes color, it’s quick to tap 3 more times to cycle through back to my color of choice.

Love this keyboard, and I’ve tried several
Really nice keyboard, especially when you find it under $15. This is the third brand I’ve tried in 2 weeks, and it’s the clear winner. Touch and key travel is very good, and sound is very quiet. (I’ve not heard any squeaks that another reviewer complained about.) Illumination is subtle, changeable among 3 colors, and intensity can be set to any of 5 levels (plus off, of course). The keys *are* illuminated — i.e., the light shines through the keys. All function keys work just as they should. There are flip-down legs in the back to provide a slight angle, and rubber pads to keep it from sliding around. My only (very) minor complaint is the branding sticker: It’s too darn large. But that’s trivial. Overall, this is an excellent keyboard and an even more excellent value.

Got what I paid for
I bought it as a lightning deal. Not disappointed. The USB cable was too short — shorter than most for sure. The keys are not lit by one LED set each. They are instead sharing zones which use light pipes to distribute the light and it’s not distributed evenly at all. If working/playing in the night (which is the reason for back-lit keyboards) you won’t be able to read the keys so clearly. Maybe not so important for some.The “mechanical feel” isn’t quite accurate as there is no click. For some, this is likely to be a bonus. Clicky-clacky keyboard noises isn’t always welcome anyway. I don’t know what’s “gaming” about this keyboard unless there are macro features I haven’t explored yet. Otherwise it’s a fancy backlit keyboard.Also on a positive, colors can be changed without software. Big plus. Some gaming keyboards require software to make use of these features.So over all, the balance is good but it’s good for buyers to know what to expect and to know if it has the feature and function set they actually want.One other huge plus? It’s the smallest footprint for a standard layout keyboard I’ve ever had. Love the size.

After studying a number of reviews for backlit keyboards I bought the Mafiti Keyboard for the following reasons.Pros:Cost. It was a lot cheaper than comparable products.Size. I’m glad it’s a slim keyboard.Feel. It works fine and not much different from my previous Dell keyboard.Quality. It’s reasonably sturdy and should last for a number of years.Backlit Heaven. I love that the light shines right up through the keys.Platform design. The keys sit above the keyboard’s deck, making cleanup a breeze.Three backlit color choices: Red, Green, and Yellow (Why yellow? Beats me.)Five brightness levels. Fn key + PgUp/PgDown You can also turn the lights off.One button to switch between Red, Green, Yellow and off.Cons:Not as well built as a Gigabyte or Logitech keyboard but also not as heavy.A bit of a wobble in the keys but not enough to cause me any problems.Some uneveness in the lighting, though not enough to make it a deal breaker.Doesn’t remember its previous light setting or color when you power off your PC.Though that’s a minor complaint since resetting it is so easy.Best backlit keyboard in this price range — nothing else even comes close.I like this keyboard and I think you will too!

The keys are nice and responsive
You absolutely can’t beat this keyboard at the price it is being offered. The keys are nice and responsive, and I haven’t noticed any squeaking like I saw in one review. The keys have a mechanical keyboard feel to them, but without the loud clicking and clacking. Can’t recommend this one enough.

Mafiti RK100 3 Color LED Backlit Keyboard- I have no complaints at all with this item. I purchased this for my son who is a big gamer and hard on keyboards. HE LOVES IT! Great value, nice sleek design
I bought this for use while working from home due to COVID. I really like it so far. It’s a sleek design without a lot of extra space on the outside of the keys (so no extra plastic just sitting there). It’s a nice, streamlined design.The keys are easy to strike for typing and they have large letters making them easy to see. The backlight feature is really cool and isn’t so bright that it’s distracting.I really like the layout of the keyboard with the directional buttons A,S,W,D in a separate offset by the number pad. This places the buttons in a more comfortable position for use. Even though I haven’t used this a lot for gaming, it makes it easier.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I think it’s a great bargain for the price.
