    Great system!….but has one issue

Great system! Works perfectly and handles remote play with my PS3 and PS4 like a dream. Came in brand new with everything included in the box. There was just one issue dealing with false advertising. This system is not the Japanese Glacier White edition, it’s the Hong Kong edition. It’s not too big of a deal since it’s not region locked but it’s upsetting when you open your package and find the PS Vita box is written in Chinese. If you love the PS Vita and want the Glacier White edition then look pass where it came from, because I highly recommend owning this beauty.

Product came in super early even though its imported from Japan

I’ve seen that this particular model doesn’t have any reviews so I’ll go ahead and write one down based on my expectations with the Glacier White model. Product came in super early even though its imported from Japan.Came in a box with styrofoam inside and was really well cared for.The Vita on the other hand, made me fall in love with it at first sight. It’s gorgeous.I prefered the Glacier White model over the completely white one because the joysticks from the white model were gray.I assumed that after a lot of usage the joysticks would get dirty unlike the black joysticks from the Glacier White model. This is the first time I own a Vita so I can’t really tell the difference between the OLED and LCD display. But either way the graphics look incredible.Good thing about the vita is that its incredibly light,I was expecting it to be a bit heavier even if it is the slim version. The battery has lasted for about 6 hours from excessive playing which is great, you can charge it with your android charger if you have once since its the same one (it already brings a charger but anything can happen). When you turn it on for the first time,it asks you what language to set up the Vita and it plays literally any game since its region free so you wont have any problems with that if that’s your main worry.Only downside from this is that you need to buy a memory card to play games that require a lot of data saving. But it brings 1gb internal memory so you can start playing a few games that run with just 10 MB.But overall I’m incredibly pleased with my purchase. It brought everything listed in the description. The price wasn’t bad,the shipping time was excellent and the Vita is incredible.Would recommend this seller to anyone tbh.*Note: I would recommend people to at least buy a memory card of more than just 8GB because some games have a lot of content to download so those 8GB would be gone in just one game.

    Awesome system, great buy.

I love the white coloring. It matched my White PS4 Pro. Seeing how this is a Japan Import the X & O are swapped but i noticed when i was playing Sly Cooper 1 on this system the X worked as X and O as O but only when the default system settings are in place which is X-O & O-X but if i swap to how im used to the ingame settings change so jump is O. So pretty much any PSN USA account games you purchased they will use the reverse settings to your system settings. Just one thing i noticed. But other then that the system was flawless, brand new as described.Looking forward to playing a ton of those classics which is the main reason i picked this one up in 2018.

Don’t buy it from GAMEZLAND. Hong Kong instead of Japanese version.

    Wasn’t a new item

Received it today to find that it had already been opened. I suspect someone failed to fully read the henkaku directions where it says the dns change to get the old firmware no longer works and you have to grab the content manager and other files and install from a pc and wallah it was accidentally updated to 3.68 even though that doesn’t matter for henkaku now that h-encore is out. Anyway I thought I was buying a new unit not one that had been configured to be in English have all updates and have the tape ripped for the charger/plugs be peeled off and someone’s hair stuck to it. Soo I returned it via amazon and bought a blue one from another seller. I imagine he refunded someone else’s purchase of it and thought in his mind it was still new but unfortunately according to Amazon and mine and the wife’s opinion it’s used. Anyway I’m sure it was a mishap on the part of the seller as there are plenty of great feedback for the seller here but I felt it prudent to post this so someone else doesn’t have a disappointed wife when they buy one.

My vita came in perfect condition, brand new

SoI was scared that I would get ripped off or receive my precious vita damaged in some way. However fear not!My vita came in perfect condition, brand new, still in its box and everything. It’s like it just came out of the factory (setting and everything) in beautiful condition. Though it’s from Japan, you can set the language to whichever once your start, and you can reassign the buttons.I’ve only had it for a few weeks and so far I haven’t had any problems. The extra $20 was worth it after having to deal with banged up used Vitas, for $176, from Gamestop

    Highly recommended!

I love, love, LOVE this thing! I bought this on Amazon a couple of months ago, and it has been a joy to use! I own the original Vita as well, but I love the Sony Glacier White color scheme (which I have for PS3 and PS4 dualshock controllers), and I decided to buy this Japanese model, as it is region-free. The system can immediately be configured for English menu selections. The default selection button in japan for PS products is circle (O), but this model can be configured to use the X button like the North American models do. The 1 GB of built-in storage is perfect for PS vita game saves. However, I love playing old PS One classics, and I have a 16 GB memory card to save them to. PS1 downloads range from several hundred MB to more than 1 GB for large games that were multi-CD when released (i.e. Final Fantasy series). PSP and Vita games are also >1GB, so keep that in mind. If you only plan on using the Vita for Vita games, this is the system to get if you hate what Sony did with their exclusive memory cards, but this is a great model for everyone. And as a note, the Japanese outlet plug is compatible with North American power outlets, but you can charge the Vita with your computer via the included USB cable.

Love the Japanese Playstation Vita and works great with all my American PS Vita games and accessories!!

I love the Glacier White finish. It has more of a premium matte feel so the body doesn’t attract as much fingerprints and such. I purchased this Vita from Ninjya if you need a recommendation! Box was in great shape and product was sealed and brand new! I recently had an Aqua Blue 2nd gen Vita slim (the Gamestop Exclusive) previously and must say that the experience is quite the same. A near seamless transition from American to Japanese Playstation Vitas. I was somewhat apprehensive purchasing this from Japan but it truly is region-free. From what I understand, the only thing that you are really “locked” into is the Playstation store of your playstation account’s region. I don’t think this has any impact on 99% of users who have no interest in using Japanese or other region’s Playstation stores. All of my American PS vita games, memory cards, and games i’ve downloaded from the PS store work perfectly. Off the bat, when you fire up the Vita, you can select the english language. The O and X commands are understandably reversed (in Japan they use the O button primarily to select and X to back out of menus, the exact reverse of how it is in the U.S.). If this bothers you, you can easily change it in Settings > Accessibility > Button Assignments. However, when you actually play games, the controls seem to defer to the game’s default set up for controls. Other times, I’ve noticed that some games will defer to the system’s setting. Personally, I’ve left the settings alone and have been just fine with it. Overall, I’m glad I purchased the Japanese Vita. There are several colorways in Japan right now for the Vita Slim: Neon Orange, Glacier White, Aqua Blue, Metallic Red, Silver, and more. If you purchase an American PS Vita Slim online, unfortunately, you are almost certainly limited to one color, Black, as there was only a small, limited release of the Aqua Blue Vita Slim at Gamestop that has been over for quite some time now.

Arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition

I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the product had arrived a lot more earlier than the expected arrival date, it arrived only 5 days after I ordered it. Now as for the product itself it was packaged nicely and it came in its original box cover which had no signs of wear and tear. It contained manuals which were in Japanese but that was expected since this was a Japanese imported PS Vita, it also came with a USB cable, AC Adapter and Power Cord as specified in the product description and they functioned as they should. Now as for the PS Vita itself, it was in mint condition, it was like comparable to buying a PS Vita fresh off of the store back in the day. But be aware when you’re going to charge the PS Vita the first time, it might take a while till it will eventually boot up in which for me it took roughly 20 mins for it to fully boot up. It does not come with a memory card but it does have 1GB internal storage space however, I would definitely suggest that you buy a SD2Vita Memory Adapter alongside it since it’s significantly a lot more cheaper and convenient to use micro sd-cards for your PS Vita when it comes to storage space. So I was overall very satisfied with the purchase and I can highly recommend anyone who wants to buy a PS Vita to buy it here.

It’s very light and its resolution is good.

I have a PSP 2000 (sadly it’s broken now), but this one is somewhat better. Its UI is easy to use and PlayStation Network is pretty nice to search some games that you want to play. I’ve already bought many games through PSN because they’ve been having a big sale for holiday season and new year. It’s fun to search games on PSN. I have a few Nintendo 3DS and one Nintendo Switch. I bought this PS Vita in addition to my game consoles. It’s been only three days after I got my Vita, but I just love my Vita already. I won’t need any more game console for ten years from now. このVita達で後10年は戦える。$200 is worth spending. Just be caution, you’ll need a Sony’s PS Vita memory card to play Vita. Some game store their save data to the memory card. If you download games through PSN, you definitely need a memory card. I would recommend to buy 64 GB PS Vita memory card to start with.
