    Really cute Persona 4-themed Vita

Have only had it a couple weeks so can’t comment on long-term viability yet, but I love it so far. So cute with the Persona 4 theme. It comes with Persona 4 theme wallpaper, too. This is the Vita Slim model, with the LCD screen. I have 2 with the OLED screen and let’s face it, the OLED is better. But this is much lighter and you can use the same mini usb charging cable that you use for Android phones so that’s added convenience. Don’t worry about importing from Japan. It starts up just like the American Vita, and let’s you choose your language and time zone, etc. It has a 1 gig internal memory but that’s useless because as soon as you insert a memory card, the Vita just switches to the card.

A very nice package, worth the “premium” for those interested

This system and all of the items that come with it are fantastic. The system itself is well made, and has notable improvements to ergonomics and feel over the Vita 1000 model. The Persona 4 colors and designs look great, and are very nice for fans of the series. The packaging that it all comes in is very high quality. There are multiple boxes and slipcovers that are both protective and good looking. Along with the game and the system, the extra downloadable content and Persona 5 preview blu ray are nice. (One thing to note is that the downloadable content is only usable with a Japanese Playstation Network account. This is free to make, but inconvenient to use since you must reformat the system every time you want to change the account tied to it) Overall, I am very pleased with the item. The seller shipped the item exactly as listed, and shipping was very prompt.

and this special edition was perfect! I love the theme that comes preloaded

I’ve wanted a vita for a few years now, and this special edition was perfect! I love the theme that comes preloaded, and I also like the color palette. 🙂 My only problem is that since the game is JPN ver, I can’t buy any cool DLC or use the DLC that comes with the bundle, but that’s fine. I’m disappointed Sony is discontinuing the Vita, but at least we’re getting some more games before it really dies.

Definitely check out if your a Persona fan

I absolutely love my new vita. First off the basics. It is one of the newer slim models. So it has a few upgrades from the original. The biggest thing in my opinion right off the bat is the new slim vita charges off a micro USB the old one had a special charger. This means that you don’t need to carry around a second charger. Most likely your phone charger will work on it. (Or it dose come with a very nice charger so you can probably use it on your phone). Also if something happens to the charger you can get a new one pretty much anywhere. It is thinner and lighter than the original but still feels just as sturdy. This makes it much more comfortable to play. It also has a different screen than the original. I was a little sceptical about this when I bought it but now that have it in my hands it really is an upgrade from the original. Not that the old one was bad by any means just this one is a much cleaner and crisper image. Now onto what makes this import edition special. First off it is beautiful. The colors on the system itself are very vibrant. The white is very clean looking and is a glossy finish so it doesn’t get dirty from your hands. Also if it gets dirty it is very easy to clean. The back is very yellow. I think it looks great but if you don’t like yellow be warned it is VERY yellow. The yellow has a nice mat finish. Gives it a nice bit of texture for your hands when holding it to grip but still keeps it easy to clean. And the back panel is done in a very 70’s ish vibe in keeping with the Persona 4 Dancing All Night design. It even has a cute little silloette of Teddy on it striking a “Saturday Night Fever” pose. The panel is slick and smooth because it is your rear touch panel so it makes it easy to slide your fingers on. It comes pre-installed with a great looking P4-DAN theme that you can not get anywhere else. There is a different theme available on the shop but it is not this one. This one is yellow in design and uses the upbeat theme song the one from the shop is blue an used the mellow velvet room theme song. It dose come with a physical copy of the game but the game is in Japanese so if you don’t speak Japanese I would suggest buying a English copy anyway. I might still do that anyway because this system is a Japanese system. Now thankfully Sony don’t do region lock on there systems and games (unlike Nintendo). So when you get this it will be set to Japanese as default but during set up you can switch this it English and the north America region very easily. (Or wherever you want and whatever language you want) but the system will then use that regions network meaning you won’t be able to get any DLC for the Japanese game. Also makes the DLC card that comes with it worthless. I already owned a North American copy of the game so this was no problem for me but it is something to be aware of. It also comes with a copy of the soundtrack and it is fantastic. Plus CD’s have none of the region issues that games have so don’t worry about that at all. And if your the kind of person who cares about packages the box is beautiful and has a nice clear protective box around it for safe keeping. Now be advised it doesn’t come with a memory card (almost no Vita’s do) so you will need to buy one. That is the only downfall in my opinion. Long story short I absolutely love my new system and if your a Persona fan at all you will to. It is definitely worth the extra money.

Great item for any persona fan!

I honestly have no regrets with this purchase. Its perfect, cute and trendy, and overall what it comes with it is a good deal. It is a bit expensive but keep in mind you are getting a special edition game system, a (japanese copy) persona game with p4d ost, p5 footage and a great looking box. And again keep in mind persona just announced 2 more dancing all night games for vita and ps4. Great purchase in my opinion

PERSONAlly!!! The Best Vita you can buy

I had my previous PlayStation Vita for 2 years before even discovering this amazing product. It comes with a 2 disc CD that comes in the American special edition except the Japanese art is more complete by which I mean there are a few more song lyrics written in the booklet with the CD. It comes with a Japanese copy of the game which is region free meaning any PlayStation Vita will do regardless of American or Japanese Network affiliation. If you play the game it will all be in Japanese. It comes with a Japanese PlayStation Network voucher for the game which should be expired I ordered an American special edition and the voucher was four or five months out of date and I was still able to use it. The system itself is beautiful with a white finish on the front yellow solid back and Rainbow colored touch screen with disco Teddy on the back. The personal theme it comes preloaded with plays signs of love and changes the menu bubbles to appropriate icons suiting the series. Its cool if you own a US vita confirm/select is the X button with this unit from japan i have to use O button to confirm and X to exit. You can fix with custom buttons setting in the setup menu. I personally like the feature as i used to play the original MGS games on the PS2(Nostalgia!!!) Its the same as any other vita in the 2000 series lightweight, great screen, excellent battery life and this one doesnt support the mobile plan. If you played persona 4 the golden it makes you feel invested completely in my opinion as i just discovered the game 2 weeks before ordering this beauty.

    This Vita is simply Beautiful

I’m a huge fan of the vita, and when my current one broke I began searching for a new one. Being a huge Persona fan I knew from the first glance that this must be the one to get, and boy was I right. The box itself is wonderful, Nestling inside the system as well as the game and Persona 5 preview BluRay. The system boasts a gorgeous Persona inspired design on the back and a sleek white finish on the front. Once booted and set up, your greeted to a remixed version of “Signs of Love” from Persona 4 and a brilliant P4D inspired theme, complete with backgrounds and system icons.Overall If your a fan of Persona and looking for a new vita, I have no doubt in my mind that you will love this themed Vita console.

    A Persona Fan Must Have!!

I started becoming a fan of Persona series, Persona 3, 4 and 5 about over a year. I was looking for a new Ps Vita, I never own one I was just looking at the video game one day till I saw THIS. Yes although it’s import of Japan and the game is in Japanese it didn’t bother me as much since you can set your Ps vita to English and the game shown a few English tabs but I do recommend finding translations online. I finished the game while finding translations and it’s great! Everything is described in photos and details, yes you won’t be able to use the DLC, unfortunately, since it may be expired plus it’s an Japanese game you won’t be able to purchase DLCs or use this code in american PSN account. You will have to make a Japanese account; that’s only downside of it but overall I’m satisfied with the product, it’s in very good condition. Delivered fast, no issues so far. Thanks!!

Perfect for the Persona 4 fan!

Absolutely love it! Even the box it came in was lovely. Has a pre-installed Persona 4 theme. Background music is ‘Signs of Love’ from the soundtrack and is not a re-mix, like the theme you can currently download from the PS store. Like all Vita’s so far, it is not region locked, and my American PSN works exactly the same as it did on my American Vita. As it is a Japanese system I was worried the ‘O’ as accept and ‘X’ as cancel would be difficult to get used to, but in all honestly I use the touch screen for ~97% of everything outside of the games. All the games themselves have the controls pre-set so it doesn’t carry over. It’s as if I bought a Vita in America that’s just very pretty. All in all I have nothing bad to say about this stunning Vita! I love that it’s more of a Persona 4 based vita, over a Dancing all Night based one.
