Not a bad headset.
Works fine. Sounds good. It’s not a high end headset but for the price, I am happy with the quality.That being said, my one complaint is the wires. The led runs off usb power. The usb end is at the end with the headphone jack. You plug the jack into the controller, the usb cable won’t reach the ps4. To help, they send a usb extension cable. Great right? No. The cable isn’t powerful enough to power the headphones I guess. The lights never came on. I plugged the cable directly into the ps4, as wel as my pc and they work fine. It’s just the extension cord with the problem.Also, not a complaint per se, but something to know regardless, the volume control setup feels cheap, and is way down the line so you have to fumble with the wire to turn it up or down.Finally, the mute switch on mine (in the same assembly as mentioned above) was stuck when I first received it. It finally gave way and functions for the most part.All in all, it’s a good set. Comfortable to wear, decent sound, fair price.

UPDATED – Great, but killed my controller batteries
UPDATED 10/9/20 – The power drain is so high on these headphones that they killed the battery life on my PS4 controllers to less than 30 minutes, permanently damaging the batteries. The headset is great if plugged into a PC or other device drawing power from a wall outlet, but I would recommend not using it with console controllers.PREVIOUS REVIEW:I use these for my PS4 and the sound quality, volume and build quality are quite good — remarkably so for the low price point. The bass is good but not overpowering, mid-range and high-end are pleasingly smooth and clear. I was playing Doom Eternal using these last night and found that the directionality of the sound actually really helped me locate surrounding enemies. The cord is too long for what I use it for (plugging it into the PS4 controller), but it has an attached velcro band that allows you to create a tight loop that pretty much takes care of that issue. Great value!

Great headset
This is a pretty awesome headset and it doesn’t break the bank. It has amazing sound quality. First used with my phone to listen to music and it does have bass. I then used them with my PS4 and just hooked them into my controller in the headphone jack made sure in settings under audio it was set to all audio. They work even on PS4. I had no issues with them. They sound great. I haven’t used the mic on PS4 for chat but I have used it to record voice audio on phone and it works just fine. The lights do light up on the headset, just one thing you have to have some kind of usb extension cord if you want them to be on if you plug in your headset to PS4 or just be near an outlet. It is not a big deal to me because you aren’t going to see them, unless maybe its dark in the room maybe. I would definitely would recommend these especially if you want a good pair of gaming headphones that don’t break the bank and are just as good as the expensive ones if not better.

Nice headset with a warranty!
I purchased these gaming headphones for my younger son. His older brother saved up and spent a good amount on wireless headphones, but I wanted something more reasonably priced. There seemed to be many similar options around this same price, but I was pleased to see a special warranty with contact information included with this. I appreciated having that included, because we all know that items like this can fail from time to time!So far, we have had no problems! He has been using these to play games online, and he said the sound quality is good!

There is no Customer Service and Warranty
This is second time I bought this product. First one I bought last Summer August 2019, was broken . The mike stopped working. I ordered this product then try to reach out company for manufacture warranty. None of company’s website was connected to the real customer web site. I entered my E-mail address. Now we see how much junk mail I am going to get. It is good price and work for while, but there is absolutely hit or miss. No reliability as producer of the Company.

Amazing sound for Gaming; Bass is very present–Crystal Method sounds good
I returned a different brand and bought this one based on the listing of bass in the description. (The other pair I returned was almost the same price, but sorely lacking.) I can hear the impressively deep rumbles on Star Wars Battlefront (PS4), and the footsteps are still exceptionally clear. I feel as if singing voices come out a little weak on some songs, but then, I am super picky. It is not noticeable enough for me to send these back as I feel that this is the best sound I will get for this price, and I am super happy with said sound. I put this to the Busy Child (Crystal Method) test, and it sounds great! They don’t have that lingering low buzzy feel associated with heavy bass in speakers, but I actually prefer the crisper sound of this headset that still manages to keep those low basses. Literally music to my ears, and so is the price.DO buy these; you won’t regret the sound quality. I hope they last, but I went ahead and got the $6 insurance in case they don’t. Peace of mind, since I like the sound and comfort of this set. Noise cancelling is okay, too. If I every party up with the mic (I’m old and I don’t do that–lol), I will update this review.

Great headphones!
I ordered these about a week ago and they arrived a day before scheduled arrival which was great. I’ve been doing some gaming livestreams with friends and wanted something higher quality than apple earbuds but nothing too expensive and this hit the mark. They are pretty comfortable to wear and haven’t become uncomfortable after extended use and they look very nice.The noise cancellation isn’t exemplary but when listening to audio it drowns out anything else going on. If you’re wearing them with no audio playing then you can hear most of what is going on around you however.The microphone works great for what I need it for, talking. not amazing but perfect for the price point.For the audio that plays from these, again, not anything special but works great. Overall, it’s not a device that stands out in most regards from other headphones, but for how good they look, how well they work, and especially the price compared to other similar headphones, it’s a great purchase.One thing to be aware of, the headphone’s wire is a bit clunky and the threaded wire can scrape against the arm a bit and it isn’t disconnectable, but that should be expected of any wired headphone.

excellent headset for the performance and price
The GM-3 is a very good gaming headset due to its excellent sound quality, durability and price. First of all, the sound quality is extremely good for gaming. In shooter games, the headset has the ability to project any sounds coming from all around. It allows you to hear anyone coming up from behind you in shooter games and lets you understand the lyrics from songs better. This headset is also very durable. I’ve dropped this headset many times and it hardly has a scratch. It functions very well and doesn’t break very easily. Many gaming headsets are extremely expensive ranging from $80 to $120 but this headset is only around $35! The LED lights on the headset make it look really cool and make the gaming experience more authentic. Overall, I think this an excellent headset for the performance and price.

Good sound quality for incoming and outgoing voice calls
I liked the price. Needed a wired headset with microphone for use with on line meetings on my issued laptop that has the microphone disabled. These have good quality for incoming voice and others indicate good volume and clarity when I speak. This was really all I cared about.They are a little bulky and heavier than I’d like. For the price, these should work for meetings up to an hour. Beyond that, the extra weight would probably begin to wear you down.I am really please with the braided high quality cord. Seems very durable and should sustain lots of wear and tear. While it has a USB connection too, I have not used it. I am using the 2.5 mm headphone jack and plugging directly into my laptop. It also come with an adapter to split from a single jack to two jacks in case you need separate microphone/headphone connector that may be in an older laptop or sound card.To be fair I am comparing these to a pair of noise cancelling with microphone that I paid about $100 for several years ago. While those are much less bulky and lightweight, 7 months of several hours a day use is beginning to wear on the ear pads. Bought these others to minimize wear and tear on pricier ones.Plan to keep the inexpensive ones at my office desk so I always have a pair where I need them.I would buy again.

When my wife ordered these headsets for us to play Modern Warfare on our PS4s, I must admit, I was a bit skeptical. In the past I’ve owned Astro A50s, and some other really high end headsets. So I’m used to high quality stuff. When the package arrived and I got out the headset the first thing I noticed was how well built they are. It’s a really comfortable set. I can tell that the plastics are of a lesser quality than my A50s, but this set is literally a fraction of the price.The sound quality is excellent!! Voice chat worked perfectly. Also, I had no problem hearing enemy footsteps and determining their locations, and the gunfire and explosion sounds really hit.Really easy to setup and use. If you are looking for a really good value set, you will not be disappointed with this one.
