    My view on my first monitor

    This is my first ever monitor btw but like ,I like how the size is tbh it’s like not to big and not too small. The only thing that bothers me is that the volume is kinda low buts it’s fine. The quality of the game and watching something is INSANE (I plugged in my ps4 in it) I really do recommend this, it’s great.

    Wow.

    Wanted to try out 144hz gaming. I got the added bonus of 165hz @ less than $200usd! I am an avid gamer and this monitor has truly made me better at games like pubg and fortnite. I will never go back to another monitor other that 144hz+. I never actually thought having a 1ms response time and higher frames would make games feel smoother and more responsive, but I was wrong. When I saw all that sceptre had to offer I thought it was too good to be true, but it exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this monitor to any of my gamer friends. Screen is also bright and serves me well in survival games like Rust and Miscreated where nighttime can be unplayable on other monitors. Just get it. I tested out two other sub $200 monitors before this one and it exceeds those.

    Best value gaming monitor you can possibly get.

    This monitor is amazing for the price; 165 hz 1080p TN panel for less than 200 dollars is really good. No broken screens or any defects came in shipping. Everything from assembly to turning it on for the first time seems very straightforward. The stand it comes with is actually pretty robust. It’s made out of seem to be very good metal, and the stand itself is very sturdy. Although it falls short in the color depth department due to the TN panel, it does make up for its faults with the good response time. Also, the viewing angles of this monitor aren’t noticeable left to right, but you can tell looking up and down. There’s maybe a bit of backlight bleeding if you care about that too. It doesn’t get especially bright but it sure isn’t too dim, at least for me. Summing everything up, this monitor is outstanding for its price range. Highly recommend.

    165Hz = Better Gaming!!!

    Love the colors in this screen! I am playing a game called Final Fantasy XIV using this and it makes the landscape look alive!Pros-good size for gaming or even watching movies-easy to assemble-Vibrant colors-165 Hz = Good for gaming (FFXIV, Aura Kingdom, Valorant, Fortnite, Monster Hunter World)-The price is very good for aCons:-Height is not adjustable-Screen does not rotateReally worth the buy. The 165 Hz makes a lot of difference when playing MMO games and I love it!

    Best Value, No Complaints

    Absolute best value for what your buying. Bought at 178 but even at the small price increase to 220 it is 100% worth your money.Bought it once in August, had to buy againCompared to other companies this monitor holds up great, used to have it mounted with the default stand but after mounting it to a desk stand it proves the quality of this item.Great purchase, no regrets from me:)

    Absolutely amazing value! One of my favorite purchases of the year !!!!!!!

    This is a high risk, high reward type of purchase. Obviously, these Sceptre monitors have much poorer quality control compared to a company like dell or asus. But for the price of this monitor, the features you get are unbelievable. IIRC Sceptre uses panels from manufactures that supply for LG or something. They are given the panels that don’t quite meet the standards of LG’s liking. This is why this monitor is a gamble. You may get a panel that is seriously defected, or a panel that has minor color shifting. The one I received is amazing and the Pros definitely outweigh the Cons.Pros:165hz right out the box with the display port includedHDMI ports support up to 120hzThis TN panel is a newer panel and is so much better looking than my asus vx238hBright vibrant colors, not washed out at all. Can become more color accurate with a few adjustments. I’m a digital product designer and I can use this monitor without any serious issues to get my work done with my macbook pro hooked up to it.AMD Freesync compatibleNo pixel ghosting with overdrive turned onMotion blur is on par with benq zowie monitors (next to nothing)Cons:Bad vertical viewing angles and color shifting.Color bandingDoesn’t do too well with gradientsBlack levels were terrible out of the box, with a few adjustments they became pretty good.Grays levels are were this monitor falls short, but I think every TN panel handles grays pretty poorly

    Great monitor for gaming

    Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

     Ive had this monitor since october 2020 its a damn good monitor for the price at the time, it now being unavailable was kind of annoying seeing as i just bought the sceptre 27”185hz curved monitor, and wanted to buy the 25” again but im satisfied with both the 25” is definitely a better monitor though.

    Best gaming Monitor under $190

    worth the money, AMD FreeSync compatible with my 5700XT, 165Hz once connected, Low latency advertises 1ms (Not sure) but it feels smooth.Design-wise: it is attractive. It lacks pivot, swivel, and height adjustments did not surprise me at all. Speakers suck, but for the price range, you can buy a good pair of quality speakers with a subwoofer.HDMI, Display Port, VESA mount.I feel like my was well money spent.

    Best overall budget monitor out there!

    Assembling was super easy. Under $200 for 165hz is enough of a reason to get this one.
