Great game, great graphics & great fun!
Its Splatoon 2, which is a brilliant shooter although you use paintballs not bullets to tag your opponents. Campaign mode isn’t particularly long but, the real fun is in multiplayer online games so you will need a Switch online account but, in return you’ll have hours and hours of fun and if you are good enough there are tournaments with real world money to be won (we can dream!).Chat is possible with the slightly crap Switch app which uses your phone but it doesn’t detract from the game at all and there are other better options available if playing with a regular team is your thing!Probably should be in everyone’s game library!

Nice game, however, the best features requires a Nintendo membership 🙁
It was a birthday present for my now 8th years son. It looks like a nice game, however, the best features require a Nintendo membership. I paid for the console, then I paid +65 us dollars for this game and in turn, the best features of the games that my son was expecting are not available if I don’t pay a monthly or yearly membership really? Now my kid wants me to return it back, so it was not a very good birthday present 🙁

Too many flaws covering a good game.
This game is really hard to truly enjoy. The multi-player is fun solo, with a friend is another problem. You can’t just jump in a lobby together and play. One person has to play a match fully while the other friend waits to join. They stare at a blank loading screen for 3 mintues. At least you should be able to spectate. Also i didn’t like I couldn’t switch my weapon to counter the other team. The salmon run can be fun, but the point system is crap. I lost a match and lost more points than winning all 3 rounds down a person.I also got the expansion pass bundle and felt playing through that was just hair pulling. I purposely died to beat it, because really all I wanted was the octo character. The game is fun when you strip away the flaws, but it being 2020 just wait til splatoon 3. I don’t see them fixing any of this.

Why can’t you skip the intro?!
Oh man. I’m always listening to the children complain that they are forced to watch the intro every time they play this. There is no way to skip, believe me, there are hundreds of forum chats and memes about this. The game isn’t as good as the original on the Wii-U and multiplayer now needs this new Nintendo, paid subscription thing. Sad.More settings and options, but I don’t see the advantages over the original Splatoon.

Not as good as he thought it would be!
My son really wanted this game and was so excited to buy it. However a week later he barely plays it. He’s 10 and didn’t enjoy playing it as much as he thought he would. The game looks rubbish to me and based on my son’s reaction it probably is a rubbish game!

Really good and a big change from the usual
Brilliant messy fun for kids and adults alike.be warned though you need a Nintendo online subscription to get the most out of it as there’s not a huge amount of single player content.makes a big change from your usual shooters .loads of weapons and customisation and very addictive.just one more match kinda thing.very fun game
