Doesn’t work with COD mobile and a lot of issues with PC

-very good build quality just as good if not better than an official $80 Xbox One controller.-Had way to many issues using it on PCs (And I’m a Network Administrator with 3 degrees, 5 mminors, 48 certs and 20 years experience).- Software is severly lacking and needs work.- Support site is no help at all.- Windows 10 Pro on 2 PCs and 2 Laptops (1 with Windows 10 Hone) always detected it incorrectly as a mouse. Also unless you dig deep and do a profile change and calibration, the right analog will forever control your mouse cursor.Returned the item…

A decent controller with a few issues

Pros:-Copies xbox 360 layout-Has all of the buttons a 360 controller has-Switchable between bluetooth/wireless usb dongle-Physical on/off switch-Grip material is a grippy, hard, textured plasticCons:-Sharp ridge runs right along where your first thumb knuckle rests (Who thought it was a good idea to put this seemingly useless ridge here? Fire your designer)-Very short trigger throw. Like less than half of a regular 360 controller. It makes controlling gas/brake in driving games really difficult-Very mushy centering deadzone on the left stick-The grips are really small. My pinkies wrap all the way around the grips and rest on a sharp seam. Much smaller than a 360 controller-D pad and left joystick are switched around compared to a 360 controller-Internal build quality seems questionable. Makes a lot of rattling when shaken around.

Avoid this controller. Two defective controllers without heavy use

The first controller I got worked great, except for 1 issue. Sometimes when pressing the start button, it would also press the select button. I fully tested this and I know this is happening because the select button is my Discord mute button so a sound plays and I know when it is pressed. I’ve also tested this in other games as well. I called support and they offered to give me a replacement. I happily took the replacement and while it works just as good IT HAS THE SAME EXACT DEFECT: when pressing the start button, sometimes the select button is pressed as well. While this was annoying I decided to just change my mute discord button to the two analog stick buttons (L3+R3) and I went on with my life. Just now, after having this new controller for about 3 months, the right stick has completely failed. It cannot recognize any horizontal input and clicking in the right stick no longer registers R3. What a complete joke for a company like Steel Series. For a little background, I am not someone who does puts a lot of force in my button pushing. I have generally been playing sidescrollers and puzzle games that hardly even require the right stick. I have not dropped the unit and I keep it neatly on a shelf when not in use. I have read on forums that this device is poorly wired and it can be fixed if you open it up. While many people can do that, it should not be a requirement.Everyone… just learn how to hook up your official Xbox or PS controllers to your PC/Phone. It’s way less headache.

Great wireless controller, with one caveat

This wireless controller has been outstanding thus far. I good signal range, pairs easily to bluetooth but I use it mostly with Windows. Feels solid in your hands and the buttons and joysticks all feel great. Battery life is good as well from what I can tell. For games I don’t absolutely need my Steam controller for this has taken over as my go to.The one reason I can’t give it five stars is that it does not feature a parking spot for the USB wireless receiver like wireless mice and other wireless gamepads I have offer. It doesn’t seem that hard to me that they could have included a small spot for it to park when not in use. I take this gamepad with my gaming laptop and it would be nice to not have to keep up with it being loose in my laptop bag. I don’t like to leave it in a USB port during transport in case it is bumped in just the right spot. Aside from this, it is perfect for my uses.

Super legit controller with GREAT battery life at a great price!

Man I love this controller! My experience is one that pleases me greatly and I’m very happy with my purchase. It connected so easily through Bluetooth to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and my LG Aristo 3+ cell phone and an old Kyocera Hydro Wave even! It works through the 2.4Ghz dongle to all 3 of my pc’s and the connection is just as flawless. I can notice no lag on any of the emulators I run on my tablet or PC and was pleasantly surprised by this. The battery life has been what seems to be better than the 20 hours its advertised as. Great build quality, perfect size and ergonomics for my average hands, and overall a super great purchase. I paid about $34 for it with free Prime shipping when EVERYWHERE else on the web had it listed at $59.99. I feel I got a great controller for a super deal and am all the way pleased. Hell it sounds like I work for these people or something lol (I do not for the record) but when I get a great product, especially at a great price, I’ll go out of my way to leave great feedback that hopefully helps the next guy. I try to include info that other reviewers didn’t or answer a question i had when looking to buy the product. If you’re looking for an awesome controller at an unbeatable price look no further. It being a dual wireless controller was the icing on the cake for me. Good stuff good stuff I promise

    Great controller with some flaws

This is a review for the duo. I want something that i can use with my pc via wireless dongle and bluetooth for phones and android tv. I have a nvidia shield tv 2017 version. I was hoping the wireless dongle will work but no it does not work so something to keep in mind if you are thinking about it. Bluetooth works well with the shield tv but it does take a moment to reconnect. Once connected, I experience some input lag but eventually i figured out it was because of the tv. Apparently i need to set the tv to gaming mod. Once i done that the input lag virtually disappears. Its not as good as the wireless dongle on the pc but it good enough not to notice. On pc with the wireless dongle, it works flawlessly with no input lag. My desktop pc sometimes have trouble reconnecting but i have no issues no my laptop so it all depends on your pc configuration, windows and pc hardware i guess. I find this comfortable but people with larger hands might think its too small. I wish the joy stick was a bit thicker like the old dualshock 1 controllers. Overall, a good controller for a reasonable price.

overall good controller with a few issues

First of all, I like this controller. The movement of the joysticks and the button pressing is very smooth. Using the provided dongle, Windows 10 connection was automatic and flawless, a true plug and play item. It also has good ergonomics. Most importantly, no lag. The controller is very responsive when connected through it’s own plug-in. I did not use it through bluetooth so I can’t speak for that. Lastly, the Hall effect sensors make the trigger pull feel very smooth with just the right amount of resistance. .Onto the bad. The center buttons are awkward to press. This could be a problem if your game uses them. There is also a lack of haptic feedback in it. In a time where it’s a given that a controller would have vibration, I failed to check specifically for it and it’s basically the one controller on the market without it.

Stopped working after less than 6 weeks

I was really excited to get my hands on this but work allowed me minimal play time. I did get some good play time initially with it but after leaving it to charge, it no longer came on.I thought it was the charge cord but after switching between 3 cords (all of which worked with other devices after I checked my controller), I accepted it was the controller itself.Really disappointed in this purchase, thought I was getting something a bit more premium based on the price I paidI reached out to Amazon support who troubleshoot with me before elevating it to SteelSeries for a replacement. No one has reached out to me yet so I am hopeful but disenchanted.

Good controller while it lasted, but had some issues.

OK, for $60 this thing should come with its own lightning charging cable. It has none in the box. It’s sold on the basis you have an Apple product and a lightning cable available to charge it. So, just keep that in mind. That aside, it is a good controller. Unfortunately the first one I received ended up bricking itself within the first month. Unresponsive and would not pair or turn off. It wouldn’t take a charge, either. Amazon replaced it without hesitation (amazing customer service). The battery is sealed inside the controller and there is NO hard reset/reboot button. Just the power on/off home button. So, if you’re wanting to try a hard manual reset if it becomes unresponsive, you won’t be able to. You’ll have to wait until the controller battery just dies, which could easily be 30+ hours on standby. However, WHEN it works, it does so perfectly for Fortnite and Minecraft on an iPad Pro. Roblox is hit or miss with having full-functionality with some of its games (while you may be able to move, you might not be able to do any actions within – like hit, shoot, or select). Buttons are responsive and it is definitely heads and tails better than using the touch controls onscreen. Battery life is incredible and the grip is comfortable and not bulky or awkward. It feels well-built in quality. It has, during game play, lost connection a couple times. I’m not sure if it’s an iPad issue or the controller, but it just takes a second to repair. Not very convenient, though. But, honestly, if I ever have to replace this controller, I’d probably lean towards an Xbox controller.UPDATE 9/25/20: I’ve had to return the previously exchanged controller due to the left analog joystick sensor being stuck in the down position. The stick itself was freely movable, but would only register as down and in no other direction. SO, I’ve returned that one also and purchased an XBOX One controller as a replacement. Womp womp.
