Great, but dissapointing at the same time

On the one hand, being able to play three of the best games of all time in HD on a portable console is most splendid, and it does inherently hold a great deal of value. However, on the other hand, this is a full price release, and the upgrades and content inclusion doesn’t even come close to justifying the full RRP Switch price tag. This collection really was pretty much the bare minimum that Nintendo could get away with, which is disappointing since so much more could’ve been done to update these games. Only Galaxy runs in 60fps, the other 2 at 30fps. The lack of Super Mario Galaxy 2 is also truly bizarre…

Absolute gaming at its best !!!! ‘

This Mario 3D all stars game is absolutely awesome I never got to play these games in the original form so for me getting a chance to play these Mario gaming legends all on one game cartridge on my favourite console (the switch) is absolutely gaming perfection I’ve played older Marios on game boy and nes but I’m missed out on these and I’m so glad I got the chance to play them as I’m a massive Mario fan and I must say I’m enjoying this set of games a lot I watched the Nintendo direct regarding its release and pre ordered mine asap and it was like being 5 years old again waiting for Christmas Day to arrive when I had to count down the 10 days wait I had for the release date and when it came it was a extremely exciting day the game is definitely worth the Β£49.99 price tag and you can play this on switch and switch lite without any issues its got that classic feel to the games with great graphics and gameplay too the controls work well with switch I haven’t had any difficulty getting used to them at all this is 30 plus hour at least of pure amazing Mario gaming and it would make a perfect gift to any gamer out there also its a limit run digitally from Nintendo and physically after 6 months (march 2021) it gone for good so it got great collectors value too I pre order mine from Amazon and the delivered it to me on release day and my overall pre order experience with Amazon was absolutely faultless so a great pre order service too I highly recommend this game ALOT!!!!!!!

    Love Mario

Don’t be racist, be like Mario. He’s an Italian plumber, created by Japanese people, who speaks English, and looks like a Mexican.

A fantastic collection even though it’s missing one game.

This game has 3 revolutionary Mario games put into it and they are all remastered at 1080p to look great on modern displays. Even though Mario 64 runs at 720p and isn’t in widescreen, it’s still a joy to play. Mario Sunshine and Mario 64 still run at 30fps meaning Galaxy is the only one running at 60fps.I find it strange that they weren’t patched to 60fps as this was done by fans before but knowing Nintendo, they probably don’t want to manipulate the code and cause random glitches. The collection has all the original soundtracks from all 3 games and is unlocked from the start, meaning there’s nothing to unlock in the Main Menu unfortunately. But, they are all excellent to listen to.Despite some of it’s problems, It’s fun to re-experience all the games you may have played before or never have as I’ve never played Sunshine or the original 64 (played DS version) so overall it’s a pretty solid package. But…π–π‡π˜ πˆπ’ π†π€π‹π€π—π˜ 𝟐 πŒπˆπ’π’πˆππ†!? When playing the collection, I always felt like somethings missing and that’s Galaxy 2. That game had phenomenal level design even though it didn’t have a deep story like Galaxy 1. That was my biggest gripe with the collection but don’t let that ruin your experience!

    Nostalgic

As this is an allegedly “limited release’ I thought I had no choice but to purchase it, although I personally believe Β£50 is quite steep for 3 dated games especially as they aren’t even full remasters. I swear Nintendo is the only company that can get away relatively unscathed by repackaging old titles and charging full whack. I had each of these respective titles on each console (N64, Gamecube, Wii) but I never actually properly played Sunshine or Galaxy so this provides an ample opportunity to experience and enjoy these flagship titles.I have only had a little look so far but I expect Nintendo standards of quality and having 3 full soundtracks of classic Mario tunes, the N64 Soundtrack took me right back to my childhood. I also believe that if the physical edition is a limited run that this title has the potential for increased re-sale value, even though I don’t sell games. Its already sold out on Amazon though Game still has some in stock, definitely worth picking up.Edit-I played Mario 64 the most so have started with Mario Sunshine. It is nice to se that Professor E. Gadd has tweaked the controls of his inventions in recent times (Poltergust 3000 was relatively painless) the Flash Liquidiser Ultra Dousing Device or F.L.U.D.D for short is quite infuriating and awkward. You take for granted that practically every Nintendo benchmark games (Mario, Zelda) have flawless controls, Mario Sunshine is a rare miss for Nintendo.

    Technically fine but displeased

Arrived with damaged case, game inside is fine but now rating 2 star and ordering replacement cases from somewhere else instead of going out of my way to return this and hope they don’t break the replacement

Great ports of great games but where’s my booklet.

So Super Mario Sunshine would have been enough for me and Galaxy is a nice little addition. 64 is great but after having played it so many times on the N64 and then on DS it wouldn’t have been enough on its own but it makes sense that it’s in this collection. The additional music player mode is a nice extra. All 3 games work well on the switch with only 2 problems I’ve noticed personally. 1 I had a few moments when object would only appear when really close to Mario in 64 and the camera controls can be frustrating but that’s probably a problem with the game.My only real problem with this release is that for a special limited time release for the 35th Aniversary I feel they could have added more to the physical edition. Maybe a booklet at least or a slip cover for the game case. Anything really.

    F u Delaware storefront!

My copy of Super Mario 3D All Stars arrived with dents on the box even thought I purchased this NEW! Game Box was also a European version which still plays on any switch but this was advertised as an US version. Don’t but from the seller Delaware if you are buying anything that’s labeled as “New” from them. Other than that, game is great.
