Beautiful Keyboard, Very responsive.
Just got my keyboard today. First thing I did was open a testing utility and check all the keys and run a WPM typing test. Everything works perfect and it’s very easy to type with. It feels solid and doesn’t slide around. The metal frame looks great and the lighting is awesome. I changed the colors on my laptop to mirror this and it looks amazing. The functions all work well and easily adjust the lighting from on/off/breath, brightness and breath rate. The shortcuts are nice to have with the F-Keys. I really like how the lighting lights up under the edges of the keyboard too as you can see from my pictures. It creates a really cool effect reflecting off my granite desktop. Highly recommended. If they make an apple version I may just have to pick one up for my Mac mini too. 🙂

Works well for World of Warcraft
Advantages:responsive keys, well lit, solid keyboard Shell.Disadvantages:Some widely used keys lose coating, noticeable after 2 weeks of use “W” = walk forwards, “S” = back up, “TAB” = change target, “2” = pew pew pew.Preferences:I was disappointed that it has ANSI key layout, ISO has a larger return key. While not focused to look for key layout I did notice some advertisement of a CELL PHONE or DEVICE holder built in to the design of the shell. I thought that was cool and could feasibly use it for video conferencing. The slot for holding a DEVICE is awkwardly designed and is much more hassle to stand a DEVICE in the holder than it is worth.

Got me by for a while.
I have had this keyboard for a couple of months. I needed a keyboard quickly. This one cam in a couple of days. Worked fine, although I am not used to a leash on my keyboard. Now all of the control keys on the left are starting to stick on. Not so bad with shift, just a retype. But with Alt and Ctrl anything might happen. You start typing and the next thing you know, you have started a completely different program and typed several commands into it. Anyway – the stars are for the fact that it did what i needed for the amount of time i needed. Now I will buy a real keyboard. I wish i could get the mechanism from an old IBM serial kbd of the kind that used to come with the IBM PC using USB wireless.

Good product
The design of this keyboard is exquisite. The connection is via USB, which guarantees a better response and greater practicality. The keyboard is membrane, but the quality is quite high. It has a handle for easy transport. The lighting gives the desk a retro touch, making it a perfect complement to a gamer-themed room (it can be activated and deactivated with one key).

Durable and fairly priced
My daughter has had an LED keyboard on her Amazon wish-list for over a year, but it has always been one of those things that friends and family overlook whenever a holiday or birthday came around; myself included. So, when our old keyboard was knocked off of our computer desk and cracked, she was begging for us to look into a ‘gaming keyboard’ – she’d only been asking for one for the past two Christmas and birthdays.Honestly, I expected the light-up keys to be distracting, but they really aren’t at all. Every couple of days she swaps out the color scheme on it and I barely notice. It’s sort of like when you adjust the dimness of your car console when driving – you note that it’s changed and go back on your way.Inevitably, we picked this keyboard over the one of her wish list because of the reviews saying that it was metal. I figure, that would likely keep us from having to replace this one right away if the same thing happens again. All in all, it’s a keyboard! It does what I need it to do while giving my 11 year old the novelty feature that she’s been wanting. If you want or need a light-up keyboard, Id get this one if only because it really does seem more durable.

Lasted 6 Months of Daily Use
This is a beautiful looking keyboard. The back lighting doesn’t have any special functions, and the large key to turn it on or off next to the Right-Alt and Right-Fn keys is a bit of a let down, but the unit feels solid and the keys were responsive enough. Over time, keys started sticking or being less responsive, the black paint on keys started to wear off, and today there’s a decisive gumminess to keys that get used a lot.For the price, I really can’t complain, and even now the keyboard is “usable.” For heavy use I would encourage buyers to look at investing a little more in something that will last.

seems good now. looks nice, feels nice, interesting design and a metal case
EDIT!! so deleted all the keyboard drives from my computer and i tried the keyboard again and the weird stuff is not happening any more. it might have been some sort of strange glitch but everything seems fine now, the light are nice, it does not look quite as good as it does in photos but it looks very nice, the chord seems to be a bit on the short size, my other keyboard has a chord twice as long.. the chord is just long enough, if was any shorter it would be a issue, the body is metal, the keys feel nice, much better than the way keys feel on most cheap keyboards, but as long as i don’t get any issues starting up again and as long as it Doesn’t crap out on my any time soon ill probably be using this one for a long time. i sometimes bump The key that turns the lights off when typing tho so i guess there is one more complaint, it would have been nice if they made so you had to hold down shift and that key to turn them off or something. but its a nice feeling budget keyboard with rainbow lights. If anything changes ill update the review again.Original review——– if you get propels like this try to uninstall your keyboard drivers maybeif i click on a window that i want to view thatch open on my pc it will make it full screen on its own, or sometimes it will highlight all of the text on the screen, its making lots of unwanted weird things happen, its been happening constantly for the last 2 days, before i got this nothing like this had ever happened and Today i put my old keyboard back on and i haven’t had one weird thing happen. something is really strange with this keyboard.( but like i said i think its fixed now )

Reurned a cheaper one for this
I paid about 10 bucks more for this and I think this is a keeper. I tried the other for 3 weeks and just could not stand trying to type on that keyboard. Theys are taller, and you have to push STRAIGHT down to type. If the keys were lower to the keyboard it probably would have been ok.I was using a Saitek Eclipse PZ30AUthat I have had for probably 10 yrs. but about 5 of the keys on the left side no longer had the letters showing. I can type without looking but it still bothered me not have them on the key. They do not make the Saitek Eclipse anymore or I would have bought another. But I found a used one and it was $287. I know I didn’t pay more than $30 back when I bought it. I just would not do that. This keyboard is about the same in performance. I just use it for normal typing not gaming. But I do a lot of typing. I think this one is a keeper.

Weird keyboard for this touch typist
I’ve been touch typing for decades. I find that the little nubs under the F and J keys are high enough that I can feel them, and place my hand in the right spot on the keyboard. My Microsoft keyboard isn’t as helpful in this aspect as this Ratel.I haven’t been able to adjust the brightness of this keyboard — actually, I finally DID, but it took a while for the keyboard to wake up and change the brightness. The backlight seems more useful than I first thought it would be – in some cases, it helps me to confirm that my fingers are on the desired keys. It’s also good for work at night.I type with the keyboard on my lap, and the corners of the keyboard cut into my leg – I may need a slight bit of cushioning under the corners to prevent this solid keyboard from digging into my legs. It’s taking me a while to get used to the key spacing on this keyboard, but I expect to get the hang of it after a few hours of typing.A few issues:The spacebar at the bottom of the keyboard is a bit wider than on other keyboards. I use the Alt key on the left side of the keyboard, but when I press Alt on the left, instead of finding the Alt key where it should be, I press the spacebar. This positioning may be good for gaming, but it’s annoying to a person (me) who is used to having the left Alt button in its usual space. The PgUp and PgDn buttons aren’t labeled correctly — these say PgUg and PgUg. Strange.I may update this after I’ve had more time to use it.(I appreciate the feel of the keys, so far, and the click isn’t annoying)I’m a bit concerned that the black paint(?) on the keycaps will eventually wear off, leaving a glowing square, instead of a letter. I used my other keyboards so much that the printing on the keycaps wore off — I hope this doesn’t happen with this keyboard.
