    Almost perfect

Overall not bad. Had to get white for the aesthetic and wanted the ability to control the color of the lighting as well. Cannot complain about the look/feel of this keyboard. Amazing colors, and cool light combos. Pretty nice for $50. I didn’t care for the following and will be the reasons for returning:If it is wired and not a Bluetooth keyboard, why have the wire be detachable? Maybe others will find that useful, but i didn’t see the point of that.Key functions for the Mac do not work. There are instructions to select fn + s but seems to not enable the Mac functions like instructions say it would.

Reds are alright but probably need more stabilization

Red switches on this Keyboard are pretty crisp and nice, but they are a little wobbly with custom keycaps on it. I have a set of keycaps on it and sometimes they will slightly pop out when something hits the table, like a phone or a book, or even a fist. But I can kinda understand why, as this keyboard isn’t the most luxurious i’ve owned. Not saying it isn’t good, probably a better 60 percent keyboard i’ve used in my time.

Great quality and features at a price that can’t be beat.

I was a bit apprehensive about buying this keyboard due to the fact that there were no reviews and I could not find any information about the specific brand and model. After some digging I found that this is a re-brand of a DIY board called the iGK61p. If you look around online you can find software made specifically for this keyboard pcb that allows you to control and program things such as lighting and macros. The keyboard looks and feels fantastic and seems very well built with little to no flex. The key caps it comes with are fine and show where all of the extra key functions are located but I swapped them out for an affordable pbt key cap set. It also has many interesting features that you won’t find even on keyboards that cost double or more than this one. Features such as the fact that it’s waterproof, uses optical switches, allows for swapping of switches to other optical switches, has a detachable usb C cable, full programmable RGB illumination, multiple RGB and macro profiles, and an on-board mic for a really cool lighting mode that follows sounds or music playing in the background. It uses Gateron blue optical switches that have a very unique feel to them. I have never tried regular Gateron switches so maybe this is how they all feel but compared to Cherry and Outemu blue switches they have a much quieter low-pitch click that is much more bearable and has smooth yet resistant key presses (the key press actuates fairly easily and without much force but feels different when bottoming out keys compared to cherry and outemu blue switches).Really my only criticism is that I really wish that the keyboard had a way to increase the incline a bit more because although it has a natural incline built into it, I’m just used to typing at a bit more of an incline than is possible with this keyboard.Overall this keyboard is really a steal at it’s current price and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a good quality 60% mechanical keyboard.

    Great value keyboard

Great little keyboard for the money.I like the small form factor a lot, the build quality seems solid, and the blue key switches sound like signature blues, even though they aren’t Cherry brand.I already have 2 full size keyboards, one with browns and one with reds, so the blues are a nice change of pace. But I think I’ll hotswap these switches for something less clackity down the line when I (or my girlfriend, or my next door neighbor) get sick of the machine gun sound it makes when I type e-mails.Anyways, the board is cool. RGB works, and has some interesting effects, but I only ever use the white background because I am not 13.

    Buy at your own risk!!

First I want to start off positive by saying that the keyboard sounds and feels fantastic and the size is perfect for anyone with a small desk and a big mousepad this keyboard has blue switches which makes for a great sounding and fast actuation force keystroke. Although this keyboard is great about a month of use In i plugged it in one morning only to get the usual boot up rgb but then right after the caps lock key started flashing and the entire rest of the keyboard including caps lock was unresponsive for days and unfortunately I had to return the keyboard as there were no answers online for a fix. Overall the keyboard sounds and feels great for a budget keyboard although my initial issues were that it broke your limited with the rgb options and the switches were soldered in. That’s not typically a problem for some people unless your looking to customize because usually most keyboards have soldered switches but anyway. If your willing to spend money on a keyboard that will last I would recommenced just buying a ducky one 2 mini

Fonts are slightly different, otherwise a close-to-perfect keyboard that won’t break the bank

I gave this four stars simply because the “r” and the “y” key are not the same font as the other keys which may not bother most people but if you’re spending $50 on a keyboard you should expect them all to be the same. There are other keyboards out there with Outemu blue switches and the same size keyboard that are slightly cheaper with all the font on the keycaps matching. I will not say this is a bad keyboard because other wise, the colors, typing feel, and pretty much everything else about it is perfect. However if you are a perfectionist and wish that all the fonts are the same you’d have to spend an additional $30+ on some keycaps which then brings the price of the board up to the $80+ range and then you’re getting close to name brand keyboard that come with Cherry MX switches.Coming from a membrane keyboard to mechanical switches, I’m a happy camper.

Good Keyboard For The Price, But Personally One Major Flaw

For $50 this is a good keyboard considering all the features that are included, but there are a few things that weren’t great. The keyboard comes in a 60% form factor and is very small in comparison to full/tenkeyless designs. The smaller size may take some getting used to, but overall, I really liked the form factor as it’s a big space saver and you can still use F1-F12 and all the other functions from a full keyboard you’ll just have to use the Fn key and the included software to set things up to your preference. The software however, is hard to understand and can be difficult to work with at times, but it does provide a lot of options for customization of the functions of the keyboard and the rgb lighting too. The rgb is decent overall and has plenty of preset options and configurations, but I did feel that the lighting was a bit dim in comparison to other keyboards that I own and have tried in the past. Now for the key caps. I purchased this before they updated the pictures to include the “Instago” logo on the product so I was expecting a brandless design and was upset when I saw the brand on the space bar. I got over it quickly because I had ordered a set of pbt key caps that I planned on using anyway, but felt others should know about it. However, since then the company has changed the product page to depict the product that you will actually be getting so that is good. The key caps themselves and the key cap puller are pretty cheap feeling, but for $50 you really can’t complain much there. If you were to need a key cap puller I would say buy a separate one because this one can definitely scratch up your keys if you are not careful. As for the switches, the keyboard comes with Optical Blue Gaterons. This was my first time with Gaterons and I can say that I really liked them, and they might just be my favorite blue switches. As blue switches, they do have an audible clicky sound and a very slight tactile bump, but I will say that the tactile bump isn’t as apparent as Cherry MX and Outemu switches, and the Gaterons just feel smoother overall. Also, the switches are hot swappable, which means that they can be switched out with other Optical Gateron switches such as reds, browns, blacks, silvers, or yellows. You do get 5 black switches in the package as well and a switch puller, so you can try out the hot swappable feature right away, which is very nice.Overall, this is a solid keyboard. I really didn’t like the branding on the space bar, the keycaps, or the software, but the form factor, the switches, and the hot swappable feature are all top notch and provide a lot of value for only $50. Having said that, I originally gave this product a 1/5 because I felt I needed to bring attention to the branding issue that wasn’t being depicted in the photos on the product page to warn people of what they were buying. However, once I wrote my review the company did respond fast and changed their photos on the product page and it now is accurate to the product you will receive. With all that being said, I would now give this a 4/5 stars because I really do think that this is a great little keyboard for only $50.

    Great value RGB 60% keyboard!

Used this keyboard for typing and gaming. The blue switches are both audibly and tactilely satisfying to press. I’m liking them more than my cherry browns right now, although I really liked those too. The tactile bump is quite a bit more pronounced than on the Browns and it is quite satisfying.

Great keyboard but then I noticed something…

*11/7 – Edit to include shots of the manual features and Fn key reference. After less than a week of use I noticed that during the LED effects that my ‘X’ key appears to be out of sync with the others and on further inspection by switching to different modes, I’ve determined that it is the only key that does not display the color GREEN properly. When switching to the all green LED effect it is very dim and sometimes not visible with a keycap on. I’ve removed the keycap and switch to confirm it’s the LED on the board. It’s also very noticeable in the color cycling modes because during yellow, orange and green transition it’s displaying a bright RED ‘X’ key.I do like the keyboard and would be 100%completely happy with it if it wasn’t for this issue. I understand that quality control might have missed this but with so many keyboard options in this price point I might return it.I’ve included photos that show during the color cycle how it shows a RED LED and also during the all green modes with and without the key in place.

Ok item, some minor issues due to quality control

Great keyboard with one issue. The unit i received had the top right foot pad of the wrong thickness, causing the keyboard to rattle when pressing backspace. I solved the issue by layering Scotch tape on the pad to raise it up, but this should have been fixed in quality control. Also I checked on many flat surfaces so the issue was not my desk. It would be nice if the seller included extra pads on case this happens. Aside from that this keyboard is a steal.
