Cost effective library expansion.
If you dont have many games and want to increase your library instantly… this is an awesome deal.If you enjoy first party titles from Microsoft, this is an amazingly awesome deal.If you’re wanting 3rd party AAA games like COD or any EA title.. this is not for you. You’d be better off with using the individual game or the EA subscription.But honestly for the price of a single game a year you get access to all first party titles on the day they launch a d tons of other games…. what’s not to like.At $69 for 12 months the price is right

I love Xbox Game Pass!
As a hardcore gamer that has gotten older and had kids, my priorities have unfortunately changed, resulting in much less time playing Xbox than I used to have. I found that I was playing many games months to years after they released and don’t have consistent time to keep up with every new release that I like. I just gave Xbox Game Pass a go because I saw they have many AAA and indie games that I’d love to play and never got to. I’ll never get to all of them, but it’s awesome being able to try a game and decide it’s not worth playing in the limited time I have, and just moving on to something else. And they had new games every month and, while they also take games out, they seem to add more than they take out. Last I checked the service has 193 games but is advertised as 100+ games. Not including games I’ve tried and moved on from, so far I’ve played Rocket League, Riptide Renegade and have already installed Hitman, Tomb Raider, The Division and Gears of War 4. It’s going to be hard deciding which to play next! For $10/month, I don’t see myself buying a game for a while

Yeah, don’t know what’s the deal with the first review posted but it worked great for me!! Already a Game Pass subscriber and once I applied this code, it just added 12 months to my membership. Will keep an eye out for this promo next year too!!

I already subscribe to Game Pass, but had to pick up two of these cards when they were 50% off!If you don’t know, Game Pass is a subscription service that give you access to a large catalog of games. As long as you have a subscription, you can play those games. It also gives you a discount on the purchase price of the games included in the service, if you decide to buy a game to own it after your subscription ends. MS has said that they will release all first party game on Game Pass at launch. Instead of buying Sea of Thieves when it launched, I subscribed to Game Pass and played it the day it went live (and still play it)!

Sale worked fine for me – full 12 months redeemed
I’m not sure what is going on with the other reviewer but I purchased this during the sale and was able to redeem it just fine (for the full 12 months). I made sure my GamePass reoccurring subscription was canceled before I redeemed the code.

Worked for me. Already a member of Game Pass added 12 months. Clicking on advertisement states “Redeem only one Holiday offer per account in 12 month period.

It expired the day I bought it. Very sad
So as soon as I redeemed it on my Microsoft account it went through but when I looked under my subscriptions it said it expired the day I bought it. Complete waste of 70 bucks
